Behind the counter, Jaehyun was standing there with his dimpled smile while taking orders from the customers who are coming into the bakery. Surprisingly, it is packed with people. He got surprised when he got out of the kitchen since he needed to take the orders out for Jaehyun to deliver at the tables.

"The crowd has gotten big," Taeyong said, laying the paperbags on the counter.

Jaehyun shrugged, "Maybe I'm a lucky charm?"

The omega couldn't keep a smile to himself, "Please bring these to the customers. There are more inside, please pick it up after that."

"Got it," Jaehyun took the orders to the tables while Taeyong goes back to the kitchen to bake.

They've been taking orders until the time they have to close the shop. Both were exhausted and it was a day Taeyong hasn't seen. Maybe Jaehyun is a lucky charm.

Giving the last order of a customer, Jaehyun gladly delivered it to the lady with Taeyong behind the alpha.

"Thank you for coming," Jaehyun said.

The lady smiled, "Oh, my prince, we thought about coming since it could be an opportunity to see the royal Highness in our kingdom--"

The prince laughed, "Oh, would you look at the time. I'm sorry we need to close the bakery and we still need to clean."

The lady looked behind the prince and saw the omega standing there, "Is that your mate, your Highness?"

Jaehyun didn't even bother answering that question. He just pushed the lady out politely as possible. Finally, as soon as he closed the door, he flipped the sign for them to officially close.

"Your Highness?"

The alpha sighed and pulled out a smile before turning back as he thought of an excuse, "Maybe they think I'm handsome like a prince."

Taeyong rolled his eyes playfully, "Alright. Help me clean and we'll call it a day."

Both of them cleaned despite being exhausted. Jaehyun cleaned the tables and everything in the shop, while Taeyong cleaned the trays and plates that were used a while ago. The alpha already asked permission to go and the omega let him. Maybe he's needed by his family.

Finishing the cleaning, Taeyong took off his apron before going out of the kitchen. He walked out of the shop and locked it. Just when he was about to walk back home, he was surprised to see Jaehyun seating down at a bench not too far away from him. The alpha waved at him and he immediately walked closer to him.

"I thought you've already gone home."

Jaehyun stood up, "I thought I should be a gentleman and walk you home."

Taeyong giggled, "You don't have to. I'm fine."

"You're an omega, aren't you?"

The smell of an omega always makes it hard for them to hide their kind. Taeyong knew Jaehyun was an alpha. Smells are always strong when one's an alpha.

"Let's go?" Jaehyun asked and Taeyong just nodded. Jaehyun didn't want him to go off alone.

Both of them were walking side by side, a gap between them. Neither one of them wanted to talk, it was awkward. No one knows one another yet.

Taeyong felt somewhat scared. He's with an alpha. Every omega's nightmare is alphas. He was used to Yuta and Mark, because they are his brothers. Jaehyun's the first alpha he known as a stranger. He had that excitement to meet one but there was always fright in his system. He always hears incidents about omegas getting raped by alphas at night. Though, he thinks that Jaehyun could be a nice alpha. Maybe that's what every omega thinks.

"So you live around here?" Jaehyun just wanted to start a conversation. He wanted to know more about the omega.

Taeyong nodded. They were already in the place of the kingdom where they're rice fields and farms on both sides of the road they're walking. They live a simple life but Taeyong always wanted to have a breathable life. Though, they are simple farmers, all of them still wanted something more.

"Must be peaceful around here."

Taeyong nodded again, "It sure is. I loved how it's always like this."

"I always wanted to live like this. I want to live somewhere simple," Jaehyun smiled at thought how he always dreamt of living in a simple house and a peaceful place like this.

"Why? Where do you live?" Taeyong asked.

About that, Jaehyun can't tell he's living in a castle and actually owns a kingdom.

"I...just live somewhere there."

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows, "So, you don't live in the castle?"

The alpha shook his head, "I'm just one of his butlers."

Taeyong nodded, "What's it look like in yours then? Why do you want something simple like this?"

Jaehyun shrugged and pulled out a smile, "I live with a family that somehow supports me. They always give me everything I needed and wanted. They're always busy and I always do what is needed to be done. I just want to rest. I just want to escape from everything for once."

The omega chuckled, "How ironic."

With the limitations of being an omega, Taeyong is always in the house and bakery. He wanted to do something more for his family and have the wealth they needed.

"We're here," Taeyong said, already seeing his small house just meters away. Jaehyun thought it was too fast and he wanted to be with Taeyong more, "Thank you for walking me home. I also want to thank you for today. I had fun working with you, I hope you do too."

"Meet you tomorrow again?"

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows, "I already forgave you."

"But I want to see you again tomorrow."

Pardon?

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow, Yoonoh."

Jaehyun watched Taeyong walking towards the small house from a far. He waved at the omega before he turned and walked back to the castle. Many happened today and he was happy that just spent his day with Taeyong. His heart is beating so fast and he felt very satisfied.

He came back into the castle with a big smile plastered in his face. Johnny saw him and was crept out by it. The prince furrowed his eyebrows at him.

"What?" Jaehyun asked.

"What happened?" Johnny asked.

"What do you mean?"

Johnny laughed, "Who's the lucky person?"

The alpha smiled widely again, "Oh, just someone special."
