Arriving at home, Taeyong was greeted by three of the dogs that were being taken care of. He cooed at how cute they are whenever they ran to him. The dogs followed him to the small house at the end of the road he was walking on.

"Mark, what are you doing here? Outside?" Taeyong asked as he came up to the porch and stood infront of the Mark who was seated on the bench.

"I was waiting for you, hyung."

Taeyong chuckled, "I told you already, you don't have to, alright?"

Mark nodded at his brother's words, "By the way, who was that?"

"Who?"

The alpha shrugged, "The one who you were with just now."

"...Oh, well...He—He's just a customer, Mark."

"Then why did he walk you home?"

The omega sighed at how curious his brother is, "He didn't want me to go alone."

Mark smiled teasingly at him, "Hyung, I'm not gonna be strict if someone will court you but not now--"

"Get inside! I'm not going to talk to you with this kind of topic."

The alpha pouted before obeying his older brother's orders. Both of them walked inside and saw his parents already finishing cooking the dinner. Taeyong gave them a peck on the cheek with a smile on his face.

"Welcome home," his adoptive mother greeted softly.

"I got good news for you guys," Taeyong said excitingly.

"Really? What is it?" his adoptive father asked as he put the plate on the center of the table.

Taeyong's smile grew wider, "The bakery had a lot of customers today. You should've seen it! I haven't seen that much people inside our bakery, dad!"

"That's great news!" his father said.

"But I couldn't do it if someone didn't help me today."

"We should thank whoever helped you. I'm thankfully that someone was there. Yuta couldn't really leave Sicheng because he was already in labor," his mother said.

Taeyong just nod and started eating dinner.

Later that night, Taeyong decided to help his father at the farm. They needed to feed and take care of the rice field. The omega chose to feed the animals.

Funny thing is, Taeyong couldn't help but talk to them. He greets them, coos at them and tells everything to them like he would do to a person. He cares for everything he has in their small business. Though it is hard, he loved being here.

After feeding the animals, Taeyong left the farm and walked towards their house with the dogs following behind him. From a far, he saw his father talking to someone in a royal carriage. The omega frowned. What are they talking about?

Taeyong wanted to catch up but the carriage immediately left their area. He ran towards his father since he wanted to know why someone from the castle talked to him.

"Father, who was that?"

His father shook his head, "It's nothing, Taeyong. Come on, let's get some rest."

"But, father, it's from the castle, isn't it? What did they say?"

The man just patted his son's shoulder, "At the right time, you will know."

The sun hasn't set, everybody were already awake to get the jobs done. Taeyong worked at the field with the others. Never in a week he didn't work and help his parents while his brother is at school and the other at the bakery. After working at the field, Taeyong goes to the bakery to help Yuta.

He never complained but he wants to rest for once.

"Good morning."

Taeyong turned and smiled, "Good morning, sir."

Is it normal for a heart to beat for someone you only knew for three days?

"Just Yoonoh," Jaehyun smiled as he sat down on the table.

The omega chuckled, "Do you want anything, Yoonoh?"

"Nothing in particular."

"Aren't you wasting your time in here?" Taeyong asked.

"Am I wasting my time just to see someone?"

The omega looked around and saw no one yet. He furrowed his eyebrows at the alpha, "Really?"

"Uh-huh."

Jaehyun nodded. He knows that he already told Taeyong yesterday that he came into the bakery just to see the omega, and hopefully, Taeyong knows that. Maybe the omega didn't take his words seriously.

The bell rang as customers were starting to come into the bakery. Taeyong cleared his throat.

"Are you going to be okay? I...need to work," the omega asked hesitantly.

"Do you want me to help? I can help--"

Taeyong shook his head, "My brother is here so I'll be fine. You've helped me yesterday and it was beyond enough. I'm thankful for that."

Jaehyun nodded, "Okay. Just call my name."

The omega bowed before going to the counter and received others from the customers.

So, his brother is the baker? Does Taeyong know how to bake or cook too? If yes, Jaehyun would literally kneel and not let go of Taeyong anymore. But whether or not, Jaehyun would still kneel infront of Taeyong. There's something with the omega that keeps him sane. He wanted to deny but he really is in love with Taeyong.

Call him crazy but it's possible to love someone from the first sight. But is he committed? Not to the point he could leave everything for the omega...yet. Maybe in the near future. He hasn't fully known Taeyong, just the surface. He wants to know everything about the omega.

Little did he know, Taeyong wanted the same. He was curious about the alpha and his intentions.

Everything started from the first day.
