After breakfast, Shivaay was getting ready and Anika went to change when her phone started ringing. Shivaay called Anika telling her that her phone is ringing and walked towards the table to pick up her mobile when seeing the caller I'd anger rushed into his veins. He picked the call and started moving towards the poolside to talk in private

"Hello Anika", Daksh said

"What do you want now?", Shivaay asked angrily

"Where is Anika? I want to talk with her", said Daksh

"Stay away from her Daksh, please. Let her enjoy her life for herself at least", Shivaay said and looked towards the door to check if Anika came or not. He sighed in relief noticing that Anika is still inside.

"You can't stop me to meet her", Daksh said

"I can and I will. I know you don't want me to be a hurdle in your career so please", Shivaay said

"You can't do that", Daksh said. He has realised his mistake and called to apologise to Anika but here Shivaay is not allowing him

"I can and know me very well. Aacha why you didn't tell anything to Gauri?", Shivaay asked to make him realise Anika's point of view indirectly

"Because she is young and..", Daksh said when Shivaay interrupted him in middle

"Don't deserve to know the truth right? Then why can't Anika think the same? Anyways I won't fight. Don't tell this to anyone", Shivaay said and looked back when he heard Anika's voice

"Shivaay didn't you go?", Anika asked

"I am just going. Can you bring me a glass of warm water?", Shivaay asked

"Sure", Anika replied and left from there to bring a glass of warm water for him. This is not new for her as sometimes he asks for it so she didn't think of him being ill. Warm water is good for his health too

"Take it as a request or warning. Stay away. Just like you sent her out of the house I am asking you to stay away from her", he said and cut his call. He blocked his number and decided to tell her once she stop worrying about them. After a minute Anika handled him warm water and asked him to give him her mobile phone

"I was not checking vo... It was about to fall when my hand touched.", Shivaay tried explaining but Anika cuts him in middle

"I am not asking explanation Shivaay. I believe you and I will not mind if you will use my mobile phone", Anika said and put her mobile phone inside her purse. Shivaay felt bad for lying knowing that she believes him but yet he doesn't want to tense her by telling her about his meeting with Daksh

"I don't need to", Shivaay said and held her hands in his.

"I am called for an interview today near your office. Should I work there in XYZ company?", Anika asked

"You are already ready", Shivaay said pointing toward her dress and her bag. Anika looked down in embarrassment as she forgot to talk about this at night and just now she remembered that she forgot to take permission from him and tell him. The little bit she know he will not stop so she got ready as she can't reach him until late in her interview

"I forgot to take permission last night", Anika told her genuine reason

"Let's go. I will drop you Best of luck ", Shivaay said Anika smiled and looked at him. She thought he will laugh at her but to her luck, he didn't.

"Thank you", Anika replied and both left mansion together

In night

" Today obros will prepare dinner", Rudra said when Shivaay entered Mansion. He was sitting with Anika and Om, they all were talking randomly when Rudra noticed Shivaay

"Sure", Shivaay said and sat beside him. Rudra smiled at Shivaay's gesture as he said this just to gain Shivaay's attention for which he is successful.

"Do you know why?", Rudra asked and forwarded his fist using it as Mike towards Shivaay. Shivaay shooked his head and asked the same question as Om and Anika who said even they don't know

"Because bhabhi got job yyy", Rudra jumped in happiness

"Yes I know", Shivaay said as Anika called him in the afternoon to let him know about her job. At that time he was happy about her job but sad as well that she will not work in his company. He didn't tell her but he was having hoped that she will change her decision but now she can't

"So we will prepare something which is her favourite", Rudra said

"No it's fine", Anika said

"Why? It's Obros's decision, not yours", Rudra said and hugged Shivaay and Om. Anika smiled watching them spending thier precious time together

"You can watch us", Shivaay said

"I have work to do with Badi maa", Anika said and left from there. Shivomru moved towards the kitchen

"Shivaay do you like bhabhi?", asked Om

"What do you mean Om? Of course, I like her and why do you ask this?", Shivaay asked. Om smiled as he got the desired answer. He wants to know a few things as dadi asked him for marriage today.

"Like in sense. I mean do think marriage is a good decision? Do people change? Did you ever like someone else than bhabhi? Don't you feel like marriage snatched your freedom?", Om asked. He and his girlfriend are in a relationship for the past 4 years, and she asked him to wait. Now when she agreed, he is having fears. Can he manage things smoothly? Will his family agree? Anika assured him already but still, he won't know how everyone will react

"Marriage is a good decision. Yes, people do change and you will also change after realising that now you have to share your everything with someone but till now I never looked at someone the way I look at Anika. I never liked anybody else. No, I never felt like she took my independence Om why you asked", Shivaay asked. Om was about to tell him everything when Rudra interrupted him

"See because of your boring topic carrot has turned red", Rudra said. Shivaay chuckled and Om rolled his eyes at his lame reply

"I will tell bhabhi that I was working and you two were talking and enjoying", Rudra said with fake anger while putting potatoes for boiling

"Ok then we should not help you", Om said and hified with Shivaay

"You were on my side Om", Rudra said with a sad pout. Shivaay and Om giggled watching his sad face. They started preparing dinner. After completing they placed everything on the dining table and called family members

"Thank you so much", Anika thanked Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra together by looking at them at the same time.

"Mention not bhabhi", Rudra said, Shivaay and Om passed a smile towards her rather than replying

"It is very delicious", Janvi said. Shivaay looked toward Anika for an answer. He want her to praise them but she was eating without saying anything. Om gestured for him to eat so Shivaay started eating thinking that maybe she will praise him after completing dinner

"Shivaay I think these days you are losing interest in business", Tej said to Shivaay after completing his dinner

"Don't worry bade papa I am handling business. Our company is gaining profit back but it can't happen within few days right. It is a slow process. We are gaining profit again don't worry", Shivaay said assuring Tej. Om banged his hand on the table as he hate when Tej start talking about business every time, he know Shivaay will not fight with him but he can't keep quiet like Shivaay

"Can you stop talking about business here? You guys can talk in the office", Om said in a hard voice. Everyone sensed anger in his voice but nobody said a word after him knowing that he will not like

"Aloo Puri is very delicious", Anika said loudly to check if Om is angry or not. Shivaay and Om passed smiling toward her. Anika sighed in reply that Om is not angry, she looked towards Shivaay and gestured for him to complete eating as he eating in middle.

Shivaay entered the room and noticed Anika looking at the sky from the edge of the door. He smiled and walked toward her. Her hair was flying in the air because of the cold breeze which attracted him to her. He hugged her from the back. Anika flinched with a sudden hug and called his name

"Shivaay ", Anika called

"Yes me. Who else can touch you? ", Shivaay asked. Anika shooked her head and replied

"No one", she rested her head on his shoulder and placed her hands on his which was on her waist feeling bliss in his hug. She guessed that there is a problem otherwise Shivaay don't hug like this.

"Shivaay any problem? Do you have any problem in business?", Anika asked to which Shivaay shooked his head

"My mood will not depend upon business with my family, Anika. I just want to stay with you for some time", Shivaay said. Anika smiled and looked at him without breaking the hug. Shivaay placed his chin on her shoulder, Anika closed her eyes feeling his hot breath near her face. She want to ask if he want something but no words came out of her mouth because of his proximity.

He can't imagine how his one smile does to her and here he is hugging her which is driving her crazier than him

"Good night", Shivaay wished after kissing her cheeks and breaking the hug. Anika blushed and nodded without looking at him. She feels very happy that they behave more like a couple than friends. She gave him his medicines and asked him to sleep. Both slept after turning the lights off

Next day

In the morning Shivaay left early because of one meeting. He messaged Anika informing her that he left as Anika was sleeping at that time. When Anika woke up and noticed his message, she got ready for her work. First, she needs to visit one village for a week along with the office.

It takes 1½ hour to reach that place and being in the village, everything reaches late which irks her. Her boss agreed with her working in the village as he wanted to see how she works and what is her talent. After having breakfast Anika left for the village

At night she came back home tired, she already had her dinner in the office because of hunger. She entered the room to see Shivaay working on a laptop. She directly went to change and then layed in bed being tired. Shivaay wanted to talk with Anika regarding Daksh but found her slept already within a minute

"Is she sleeping or acting?", he thought but couldn't ask anything as he is having work so he continued working. He felt fear what if she is ignoring him? Because he talked with Daksh when she asked him not to

"No it is not like this", Shivaay thought and closed his laptop
