Chapter Twenty-Five 

broken bells 

3rd person pov 

after a few days, nothing happened with them, sure they patrolled and they lived their lives but kamari and jason didn't hear from the titans or know anything about them but it didn't matter because they had each other. tonight was rainy and they had to go on patrol which is what they did. 

"are you sure this is safe?" kamari asked jason and he turned to her. 

"we won't know until we get down there" he said and then they saw the men running but kamari saw the body of someone 

"evening boys" she heard and she smiled. she knew that voice and she knew that outfit 

"who the hell are you?" 

"im looking for venta" 

"whos asking?" 

"a friend of dick grayson" 

"the flying grayson?" 

"thats the one" 

"any friend of dick grayson is a fucking dead man" they called and she watched tim jump down and begin to attack them. her and jason watched as he fought them and then they heard gunshots 

"bye bye little birdie" he yelled and jason jumped down as he shot of them and kamari snapped the neck of the other 

"who the fuck are you supposed to be?" jason asked him and he looked at kamari 

"im robin" he said and she smiled at him 

"yeah you are" she exclaimed and tim turned to her as he smiled and hugged her. she laughed and hugged him back before she turned to jason and he stared at her. they led tim to a warehouse as he looked at jason and kamari 

"venta?" jason asked him 

"yeah, he lives down on harbot" tim told them 

"never heard of him" 

"dick says hes got information on the organization. maybe we could team up on this" tim said and jason looked at his girlfriend 

"the only person i team with is her" jason told him as they began to walk off with tim following after them. 

"you don't understand. brother blood put my boyfriend in a coma" tim said 

"boyfriend?" kamari said and jason nudged her 

"ill tell you later" tim told her and she nodded 

"how long you been doing this robin thing?" jason asked him 

"not long" tim retorted 

"a couple weeks?" jason asked and kamari scoffed 

"not quite" 

"a week?" jason asked 

"last night was my first night" tim told them and they both turned to him 

"oh, the suid did look fresh off the rack. if i were you, i'd get out of gotham. take some reps in,like, tucson or some shit" jason said and mars nudged him 

"dick sent me here to find venta" tim told them 

"your funeral, you can crash here if you dont have plans, i mean theres eggs, beer, cheese" jason told him 

"thanks. you working on something?" tim asked 

"no, im paying the fucking cable bill" jason said and kamari laughed as she shook her head 

"you need some help?" tim asked them 

"he'll say no but yes. shimmers been pulling high-end heists all over gotham, sending ciphers as clues" kamari told him and tim began to erase it 

"hey what the fuck are you doing?" jason asked 

"you got your a right but your codings off" tim told him 

"fuck you"

"its fibonacci sequence. each number is the sum of two numbers that precede it" he said and he began to do it 

"kaleidoscope. oh shit" jason said and he called barbara 

"I just have fresh eyes" tim told them and kamari nudged him with a smile as he turned to her 

"hey, babs. kaleidoscope auction house. thats the target for shimmers next hit and we'll take our usual percentage" jason said for him and kam. once the call ended tim grabbed a staff. 

"i asked everybody down on harbot about this guy, venta and nobodys heard of him" tim complained 

"must be in deep cover or dead" jason said and tim began to twirl the staff 

"you like that thing? can you actually use it?" jason asked him and kamari knew

"why dont we go a few rounds and i'll show you?" tim said to jason and he looked at kamari 

be safe tim , youre literally going after red hood who used to be robin" kamari said and she hopped up on the counter 

"one round" he said and he knocked the staff out of tims hand 

"maybe two rounds" jason said and kamari laughed. she watched jason take off his hoodie 

"okay, give me what you got" tim said and jason took the staff as he hit tim in the face 

"you rely too much on your toys. okay. one three, im gonna attack, you ready?" jason said and kamari knew the trick 

"one" her and jason said together and he hit tim 

"what the fuck? you said three" tim complained 

"your enemy is going to count" kamari called out and she watched them continue to train. 

"good. now that youre warmed, suit up and meet us downstairs" jason said and he walked away, tim turned to kamari and she sighed. 

"hes like that" she told him 

"hes your boyfriend, make him go easier" he told her and she sighed. 

"it doesnt work like that tim, he may be acting like an asshole but hes not one. hes helping you and i know you may not be able to see that right now but you will at some point" she told him and he left as he changed into his uniform and they went downstairs  

she heard the security alert and then saw men coming in. 

"theres the asshole, get him" they heard and kamari began to fight with tim. she knew this was a test but them attacking tim wasn't something he needed. 

she handled two of them and left him to handle the other two. she watched him fight as hard as he could and once they were all knocked out, jason walked back home in his red hood gear without the hood. 

"hey, you owe me a new laptop, the dustbuster ill forget about cause it was broken anyways" jason said 

"you were watching and didnt help?" tim asked 

"you had kam" 

"jason what the fuck?" 

"are you alright?" he asked as he looked her over and she scoffed. 

"yeah im fine just would prefer my boyfriend to tell me when hes going to pull some shit like that" 

"im surprised it took shimmers gang this long to get here after i let them triangulate my location" jason said to tim 

"let them?" 

"you learn by doing, not being coddled. youre welcome. nicely done" jason said and he walked off as kamari watched him and turned to tim 

"im proud of you" she told him and he smiled as they went upstairs and changed again 

"sorry, i gotta kick you out. i have a rule about fish and new robins, 24 hours max" jason told tim 

"its all good, im gotta get back anyway. check on my boyfriend" tim told them 

"you still have to tell me about that" she told him 

"and i will, ill call you and tell you everything" he stated and she smiled as jason wrapped his arm around her shoulder and they looked at tim 

"if i hear about your guy, venta, ill hit you. sorry, it was a bust" jason told him 

"im glad i came, i got to meet the great red hood and kamaris boyfriend " he said as he tapped jasons chest 

"was i on your fucking bucket list?" jason laughed 

"kind of , yeah" tim told him 

"well, good luck in metropolis. and if shit hits the fan just hide behind raven and starfire" he told him 

"or call me, ill be there for you no matter what" she stated and tim smiled at her. she was like the sister he never had and he would miss her 

"got it" tim said and he went to leave but jason threw the keys of the bike at him 

"enjoy the ride home" jason said and tim left as kamari watched him and she smiled. 

"jason, how'd it go?" dick asked as jason called him 

"sending him back to you in one piece" jason told dick 

"hope you didn't go too easy on him, kamari he didn't did he?" dick asked 

"dont worry dick, he didn't, i made sure" she stated 

"and dick, he'll be a better robin then me" jason said and he ended the call as he looked at kamari and she looked at him. they smiled at each other. 

"look at you, youre a trainer" she told him and he laughed as he shook his head and smiled. they began to look around together, and then they spared for a little bit. 

it was just kamari and jason now 

but they didn't hear the

i know i skipped alot of episodes and such but i really wanted to get back to the actual show so i did that. this is the final chapter so for the people who read it thank you for reading it and supporting this book, i know that we'll all miss kamari and her fun little quips and ideas. she is one of my ocs who has changed me for the better and i hope that you all see that. thank you for reading. and i know the ending was fast-paced and we only got 2-3 chapters of them being a couple but i like the way i did it.
