I slowly looked up at Ghost, knowing that he would get it. He understands now that it wasn't me.

"It wasn't him..." Ghost mumbled as Toast shook his head furiously.

Mike walked around the bed, looking at his lifeless sister who laid on her mattress. He carefully picked her up before looking up at us with wide eyes.

"She's still warm..." He whispered as I felt my heart sink.

Because that was only a reminder that it happened only a few minutes ago.

"What do you mean it wasn't him? I've seen all the proof that I need... Now get in the car... We're going home..." Toast growled while staring at me furiously.

I knew this wasn't gonna end up well.

Ghost pulled me into a hug as I allowed more of my held in tears to fall, my entire body shaking harshly. Ghost rubbed my back, trying to help me.

But the only one who could ever help me was her.

And she's... Dead...

Now that thought spiraled through my mind. She was gone. Dead. And I'll never... I'll never see her again.

I cried harder.

"C'mon... We're going home," Toast spoke as Ghost nodded, wrapped an arm around my back as he escorted me out of the building and back to the car.

I turned back to see Gavin doing the same thing with Mike.

After a while, they'd finally gotten the both of us in the car before getting in themselves. The ride back was full of sniffs and tears.

I don't think I'll ever be able to un-see what I just saw...

Once we got home, I was the first one out of the car. I dashed to the steps before feeling someone tightly grip the back of my hood. They yanked me down the steps as I felt my back collide with the floor, knocking the little oxygen I was able to obtain out of my lungs.

"You did it! You can't even lie anymore!" Toast screamed as Ghost and Mike came through the door, looking at the scene in shock.

I wasn't in the mood to argue with him.

"What the hell is wrong with you! I knew you were bad for her! I knew she shouldn't have been with you!" He screamed louder as I looked down, just trying to take the blows.

But this was gonna get ugly.

I used the wall to help me to my feet. My only objective was to get upstairs and lock myself away.

"Toast! Stop!" Ghost yelled. Toast didn't even look over at him.

"I'm not gonna stop! He killed my sister!" Toast yelled as I felt the words tear at my heartstrings as tears continued to trail down my cheeks.

"He didn't! He was framed!" Ghost screamed as I slowly looked up at Toast.

His eyes were cold and drenched in rage.

I looked down as I watched him pull his arm back.

"Johnny no!" Ghost screamed as I slid back down the wall, hearing a loud pop.

Drywall dust landed on my sweatshirt and got caught in my hair. Mixing with the tears.

Ghost shoved Toast back, now infuriated with him as I tilted my head upward, seeing a hole in the wall from where Toast's fist had collided with it.

"He killed her!" Toast shouted as Ghost helped me up to my feet.

"He didn't do a damn thing! He's scared! He's worried! Just like you! So shut your trap!" Ghost shouted, pulling me over to the stairs.

"Just leave him alone!" Ghost yelped while helping me up to Angel's room.

I glared around at the separate things scattered around the room. She has a few piercings lying out on her dresser. Her bed was still a mess from the last time she had slept in it.

"I'll leave you alone for a bit..." Ghost whispered before heading out the door, shutting it behind him.

I couldn't hold it in any longer.

I sat down on the bed, placing my head in my hands, before releasing all the tears I head held back.

  My heart was broken.

And the only one that could fix it was gone.

And I won't ever see her again...
