"Who are you, we're coming right now, don't hang up, just stay on the phone." The lady told me. Her voice was muffled for a few seconds, probably telling people what to do. "Where are you at now, where's your friend?"

"She's here with me, and her farm."
I said, my words breaking.

"What's the address?" She asked me. I have her the address. "Who's your friend?" She asked me quickly afterwards.

"Melody Elizabeth Reed." I said. I took off my hoodie and put it around Melody, her skin was getting so cold.

"How old is she?" The lady asked me.

"Fourteen." I replied.

"They're kids, hurry up, if she's as bad as he's saying, we don't have much time." She said, off the phone, but I still picked up her words.

"Is she going to be ok?" I asked.

"I really hope so, I really do." She said. "Stay on the phone, we don't want you to have a panic attack or something like that. Just keep talking, how do you know this girl?" She asked me. I told her about meeting her in eighth grade after moving from Chicago, I didn't add anything about what happened in Chicago, but I kept telling her about things we did together. Things how Christmas pasted, and how I broke my nose during New Year (I didn't go into detail about that ether), I added about the fact when she went to camp forever and I couldn't talk to her, I told her about the fact we won a trip it New York. I added the fact how she came to the pet shelter every day. I told her everything we did together and I realized it would hurt me more than I thought when she would move away.

Not too long afterwards, I heard police cars pull up. Melody's parents were there, half of her siblings, Alice, Max, Mike, Michael, and Macy too. Minho came running out of the forest and started telling them where we were. I pulled Melody more out of the bushes, and ran my fingers over the scratches and tried whipping the blood off of her.

"I'm never going to leave you alone again, I'll even come to Kentucky with you. I promise." I whispered to her. Her breathing was uneven, and her face was blank, nothing like the smiling face that she always gave me. "I'm going to make sure that the girls that did this to you, never see you again. I'm going to make sure no one ever bullies you again, even if I have to get bullied about it." I whispered to her.
