A/N Yellow! So I noticed I've been doing the authors note thing at the beginning of every chap so ima make it a thing now. Lol

Branch's POV:
"So..what are we supposed to do now?" I awkwardly asked Poppy.
"Well since we don't have anything and no food...and no friends...and no money..and no shelter..and no where to go...and no-
" Cut to the chase!" I interrupted her depressing speech.
"Oh yea I was going to say we could go out to the trees-
" NO! No. No. No. N.O. No trees. No climbing. No nothing!" I interrupted again waving my only working arm in the air.
"Right... I heard there's a French fry bush somewhere around here.." She said and started to look around.
"Uhh..Poppy? Did you drink enough water? Are you hydrated? Should I call someone?" I asked,looking at her weirdly.
"I'm fine Branch but I'm serious. Follow me." She pointed towards the far end.
I just rolled my eyes and followed her.
"I hope this inst one of your stupid jokes Poppy." I frowned.
"Look over there." She pointed to a bush that was growing....French fries??
"I must be delirious." I rubbed my eyes and opened them again.
"And inside the French fries there's little red boba beans!" She exclaimed.
"What the heck is that?" I asked her.
"A red boba bean? Oh it's basically like a squishy bean." She answered popping one in her mouth.
"Right...so this is very weird I have to admit..." I said.
"Wha-

She started coughing like crazy and choking on the red bean.
"Poppy?! Hold on." I went around her and grabbed her waist and bright it close. I started to hoist her upwards and shake her. She spit out the bean and it shot out and hit the tree back to Poppy's dress and then back to the tree across a tiger's back and then to the bush and it made a turn to the tree again and then back at my forehead almost knocking me out.
"What the heck jut happened? I asked bewildered at what just happened. Poppy on the other hand was trying to process if what happened was real or not.

" Well that was a mistake." I said frowning at her.
"Yep. That was a first and a last." She answered picking herself up.
"Wait you mean you've never had these before?!?" I yelled.
"Yup." She blankly answered.
"You could've gotten badly ill!! What am I supposes to do if you get ill?? What if you died?! What if it poisoned you and you were stuck with a disease forever?! Then what?! You need to be more careful!!" I bossed.
"So you admit that you care?" She smirked.
"Wh-what? N-no. I never said anything like that. No. I don't. I wouldn't care less if you got hurt." I lied.
"Then why'd you save me?" She asked.
"I didn't have a choice and I didn't do it for you." I huffed.
"What do you mean? Why didn't you have a choice? And if you didn't do it for me then who'd you do it for? Hunh?" She crossed her arms.
"That has nothing to concern you and I did it for someone that's not you. The only reason I saved you is because if no one else did it would look bad on me and there's no one else to get the food." I smirked.
"Hmpf." She pouted.
"Now I'd say we got on with out trip before you find another boba bush and start spitting on everyone." I chuckled.

We headed out finally,leaving our little cabin that we had made for our short stay. We manages to get a little ways done until I realized we were walking the wrong way.
"What do you mean we're walking the wrong way?!!!??? You better be joking Branch!!" She hollered.
"Sh!! And no I'm not joking! I just noticed! Don't get all fired up over it!" I whisper/screamed back.
"I'm not! I'm just ticked off that we came this far and now you tell us this?!" She said back.
"SHH!!"
"No!"
"SHHHHH!!"
NO!"
SHHHHHHH!!"
"NOO!"
"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"  I yelled very loudly.
"YOU'RE THE ONE MAKING THE LEAFING NOISE NOW DUMMY!!!!" She screamed back.
"Ok ok ok!!! Just stop screaming for Pete's sake!" I answered,"we can walk left from here and make it-

I was interrupted by a loud sound of thunder and grey clouds.
"Aw come on!!" I yelled.
"You've got to be kidding me!" She chimed in.
"Oh it's real alright! It's as real as it gets!!" I hollered back.

Out of all the times in the year it had to be now.

"Well I guess we'll be here a while." I sighed hiding under the protectiveness of the tree.
