"Branch please help me! I'm not asking you for much!" Poppy said a little louder than normal.
"Is that so? Because asking someone to go on a dangerous mission to the troll tree kind of sounds like a little much." Branch retorted.
"Fine! I'll go by myself." Poppy sighed.
"Pssh. Sure. Good luck." Branch teased.
"You don't think I can do it?" Poppy asked angrily.
"Nope. Not at all." Branch smirked.
"Wha- fine. I bet you couldn't do any better." Poppy retorted.
"Yea? We'll see about that." Branch answered.
"So you're coming?" Poppy asked hopefully.
"Yea...but only because I want to." Branch huffed.

Poppy's POV:
Ding! Hug time!
I looked over at Branch who was shaking his head.
"Don't even think about it." He said.
"But-
"Nope. Let's keep moving." Branch interrupted.
"Ugh. Fine." I answered.
We walked for a good time and then Branch slapped his arm to cover my mouth.
"What the-
" Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. " he said for a long time.
"Is there something there?" I asked.
"Yea.." He whispered.
"What is it?" I whispered again.
"Taylor Swift,really? What are you going to find in a forest?" He asked sarcastically.
"Uhh...animals? I don't know. We don't know what could be in there." Poppy said.
"Yea well I do. Trust me and be quiet." Branch answered.
I just sighed and followed him.

I heard strange noises and Branch must've too because his footsteps got quieter than they already were.
"Branch...what's that noise-
" Shh...I don't know..." Branch put his finger over my mouth.
"What is that?" I asked worriedly pointing to a group of big things.
"Bergens ,what do you think?" He replied.
"What? They're not usually here..that's weird." I said.
"Yea well so are you. And I thought I told you to be quiet." He grunted.
"It's not like they're going to hear us." I whispered.
"Just..shhh."

We watched the bergens as they sat down holding something in their hands.
"Hey! Those are our friends!!" I yelled.
"Your friends. And shhhhh!" He glared at me.
"Let's go save them!" I said.
I was starting to go but something held me back.
"No..not yet." He told me.
"Not yet?? What? Why???" I asked frustrated.
"Cuz...just..listen to me." He sighed.
"No! My friends are-
" Just listen ok??" He interrupted.
"Woah..Branch... Kind of overreacted there don't u think?" I answered surprised at his response.
"No I don't let's go back." He said.
"Are you crazy? No way am I going back. Not after we've already found them." I protested.
"You never listen do you? Fine if we're not going back we have to find a place to stay the night." He huffed.
"But they're right over there!" I protested.
"Yes but I told you I already have something planned so will you please stay here?" He answered.
"Oh..ok. That's better. Maybe I could find a tree and we could build a-
" Woah there. No no no. I'm going to build it,not you. Wouldn't want to risk it breaking with u up there." He snorted.
"Wow. Wouldn't want that would we?" I replied back. Note the sarcasm.
"Yep. You can get food or whatever. We might be here a while." He said.
"What? Aw come on! That's boring!" I pouted.
"I thought you were supposed to be happy?" He smirked making me blush.
"Now don't turn into a little tomato or else I might just have to eat you." He teased and left.
