A/N this is still when Branch is grumpy just saying Lol

"Hey everybody! It's almost time for a great time of the year! And can you guess what that is!!" Poppy asked excitedly.

"Oo I know!" Branch exclaimed.
"You do?" Poppy asked.
"Yep. The worst time of the year." Branch rolled his eyes.
"Oh come on Branch, why don't you come this year? It'll be fun!" Poppy answered as she threw her arms up in the air.
"Yea. Sure. You say that every time for Pete's sake. I'm not coming and I never will ok? You risk the chance of bergens finding you." Branch shrugged and left towards his bunker.

"But-
" Let him be. He'll never come." DJ Suki sighed.
"Ok..anyways! I can't wait any longer!" Poppy smiled and burst into song.

BRANCH'S POV:
"Pfft. Another song." I noticed one of the many cards she gave me falling out of the little area I stuffed them in. I sighed.
"At least I'm prepared." I confidently said, forgetting about the card.

"Heeyyy...Branch?" I heard Poppy say as she walked in almost tripping on the traps I had put there.
"What now." I sighed.
"I..I just wanted to ask you something..." She said softly.
"Get on with it and make it quick." I rolled my eyes.
"It's just that...you..never come to the parties..why is that?" She questioned.
"That's none of your business Popsidoo." I answered about to walk away.
"Popsidoo? Ok never mind that..but are you sure there's nothing wrong?" She pushed.
"I said it's none of your business. And then I said popsidoo. I don't think I heard anything else. Did you? No. So get out and please don't ask anymore questions. It's nothing." I replied.
"Yea..but..I can talk if you want. We can talk." She said again.
"Yes. I know. We happened to be born this way. We can talk. But I won't talk. Go." I pointed to the exit.
"But-
" Go."
"But I-
" No you don't. "
"Gah. Fine. I was just trying to help." She sighed.
"I didn't ask for your help and I don't need help. Don't waste your time." I said pushing her away.
"I'm not wasting my time." She argued.
"You're right. You're wasting our time." I snickered and pushed her completely out the door.
I slammed it and went back inside.

POPPY'S POV:
"I tried." I said to Creek.
"Yes,you did. But it's fine. He needs to find his good vibes. Right now,just relax and feel the vibration." Creek meditated.
"Uh...what is that vibration?" I asked.
"Relaxation. Soothing vibration." He answered closing his eyes.
"Hey guys is it just me or is it vibrating a little too much?" DJ Suki remarked at the loud sound.

"Nope I feel it too-
" BERGENS!!" King Peppy yelled.
A series of screaming started as we heard the trees being crushed and the leaves being smashed under the gigantic feet of the bergens.
"RUN!!" I screamed as one bergen scooped up a troll.
"GUY DIAMOND!! HOLD ON!!" I threw my hair to him and managed to squeeze him out of the grip of an ugly bergen.
"Branch? Branch!" I couldn't see him anywhere.

I gasped loudly at the handful of trolls being elevated in a bag and a troll getting squished by a hand.
"NO!"  I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Soon it was just me and a few other trolls. Guy Diamond,Creek, Biggie,Mr. Dinkles,and Chenille.
"No..." I felt a tear falling.
"It's ok...Don't be sad." Chenille comforted.
"Yea...I'll try to look on the bright side. Now, let's find a way to get them back!" I stood up confidently.
"Yea! That's my Poppy." Chenille cheered.
"So what's the plan?" Biggie asked.
"The plan is for all of you to shut up now." I heard Branch coming from behind us.
"Branch?" Guy Diamond asked.
"No. King Peppy. Who do you think?" He rolled his eyes again.
"Yeesh. What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be with the bergens?" Chenille said.
"Oh,so sorry for the disappointment, but I managed to get away to your dismay." Branch said.
"What, no..I didn't mean it like that Bran-
" Well it came out like that!" Branch yelled.
"Woah..You ok-
"I'm fine ok? Just..shut up..get back to what you were doing..." Branch snapped.
"Well thanks for offering your help Branch!" I sarcastically answered.
"No problem,your majesty." Branch teased.
"Stop it! You're so annoying!!" I surprisingly raised my voice.
"Hmm,rude much?" He answered blankly.
"Ugh,just..whatever. Do you have a plan that could help us? I need your help. What should we do?" I asked him.
"The fact that you asked me for advice just clearly points put how not smart you are. I already said I wouldn't help you. Ask someone else." He replied.

"Please Branch-
I was interrupted by screams.
I jerked my head around and saw a bergen grab all of my remaining friends.
" GUYS!" I yelled. I tried to save them but the bergen quickly left.
"Branch?!" I yelled.
"Yes that's me." He calmly said like nothing had just happened.
"Why didn't you do anything?!" I asked and screamed at the same time.
"That's not a question. I did do something." He said.
"Oh really?!?!" I asked.
"Yes. But that's nothing you should be concerned about." He added.
"Yes it is! A bergen just took my friends," I slowly started to calm down and  I slumped to the floor," I wasn't able to save them..."
"I know. I saw. I watched." I heard him say.
"Why didn't you do anything..." I asked again except calmly.
"I already told you... I did do something.." He sighed.
"But what?" I asked.
"You'll see later.." He sighed again.
