Poppy leans her back on a tree, hugging her legs, crying her eyes out. How could he? How did she not see it earlier?

*Flashback 10 minutes ago*

Poppy was taking her usual walk through the forest on her usual route. She was happy, because she's been dating Creep- I mean Creek for the past three month and tomorrow will be their four month anniversary. Her walk was going so well, until she heard voices. She followed the voices seeing Creep- I mean Creek talking to a fellow troll. All though eavesdropping is wrong, but she decided to do it anyway.

Male Troll: Really?

Creek: Yup. We've been dating since then. And once our anniversary arrives, I plan on taking her virginity and the bet is over.

Poppy: !!!

Male Troll: Do you even care about her?

Creek: Yes, I do. But, I need to money and I'll get it as soon as I take her virginity.

She couldn't believe what she hearing. He was just using her this whole time. The words were replaying over and over again in her head. With all the anger going on in her mind and marches over there.

Male Troll: *sees Poppy coming over* Um, Creek....?

Creek: Yes, what is it?

Male Troll: Ya might want to turn around.

Creek: This better not be a joke, because I have no time for it.

Male Troll: Trust me, it's not.

Creek: Ok, then.

As soon as he turned around, he was slapped REALLY hard leaving a deep red slap mark on his face then he saw Poppy with a furious look on her face.

Creek: Oh, Poppy. What brings you here, love?

Poppy: I was a bet?!

Creek: !!! I......I......Poppy, I am sorry.

Poppy: You didn't sound sorry when you were bragging about it! I thought you really cared about me, until I'm just finding out that everything we've been through was a lie, just for money!

Creek: Poppy, please......

Poppy: And, you dare say you have the right to take my virginity?! You have a really sick mind!

Creep- I mean Creek was about to reach for her, but she slapped his hand away from her, hard.

Poppy: Do. Not. Touch me.

Creek: Can we please talk about it?

Poppy: What's there to talk about?! You were just using me for your own pleasure! We are done! Never talk to me again.

Poppy runs deeper into the forest with tears falling out of her eyes.

*Flashback ends*

It was unthinkable that she was being used like that for the last three months. How could she have been so blinded by his looks. Her heart was broken into a million pieces. She keep crying until she felt a hand on her shoulder. Poppy held her head up and sees that it was  Branch.

Branch: Poppy, what are you doing out here?

Poppy: I don't really want to talk about it.

Branch: Yea, but you're going to.

Branch takes her hand and takes her to his bunker. She felt the warmth of his hand and blushes a bit. She never felt like this when she holds Creep- I mean Creek's hand.

*At the bunker*

Branch sat her down on the couch and sat next to her.

Branch: Tell me what happened.

Poppy: *sighs* Ok, I'll tell you. Well, I'm sure you knew that Creek and I were dating for three months.

Branch: What do you mean 'were dating'?

Poppy: I was on my usual walk and I heard him talking to another troll. And.....

Branch: And what?

More tears fell out of her eyes.

Poppy: It turns out that I was nothing but a bet.....!

Branch: What?!

Poppy: I heard him say after he takes my virginity, he said the bet was over.

Branch couldn't believe his ears. How could Creep- I mean Creek use an innocent person like Poppy, and just for money?! He could just puke at that feeling. But right now, he couldn't stand Poppy so upset. He hated seeing a beautiful girl like her cry. He slowly pulled her close and lets her cry on his chest.

Branch: It's ok. He doesn't deserve you, anyway. You deserve a lot better than that.

Poppy: Yea.....

Branch: He's not worth your tears.

Real soon, Poppy fell asleep in his arms. He didn't want to bother her, so he let her rest. He pecks her head as she slept and quietly says......

Branch: He doesn't love you like I do.
