It was storm season in Pop village and ever since Poppy was little she had always been scared of thunderstorms.

It was so loud and scary for her, she was just curled up in a ball crying and she couldn't sleep, it was already 2 am in the morning and she needed comfort she grabbed a jacket and dashed as fast as she could to Branch's Bunker

Poppy knocked loudly on Branch's doormat so hopefully, he would let her in, luckily he was already up so when he saw Poppy he quickly pulled her inside.

Branch: Poppy! Why are you here in the middle of the storm? it's dangerous to be out here and in the middle of the night too!

Poppy: I'm sorry! It's just I'm terrified of storms and I'm having trouble sleeping and-

Poppy just broke down in tears and was shaking like crazy, Branch hugged her tight to try and calm her down and pulled the lever to go down to the living room.

Poppy: I'm sorry for b-bothering you..

Branch: Hey, shhh no need to apologise it's ok to be scared, I'm gonna help you get through this ok?

Poppy: mhm *nods*

Branch noticed she was still slightly shaking so he gently rubbed her back to calm her and hummed a soothing lullaby his grandma sang when he was scared.

Poppy started to calm down and her eyes were getting heavy she whimpered slightly and Branch kissed her forehead gently

Branch: I've got you, Just rest.

Poppy finally fell asleep knowing she was safe with her boyfriend.
