Poppy woke up this morning and noticed she was not feeling the best, but she decided to brush it off and start her day

Poppy: Ok just got to do my leaders meeting, check-in on the annual water slide fest and attend delta dawn's country fest. *achoo*

Poppy: *sniffs* Probably just hay fever!

So Poppy went up to the meeting pod and discussed with the other leaders about news, upcoming events etc.

As the meeting went on Delta noticed Poppy wasn't as bright today and was getting a little worried.

Delta: Poppy are ya ok? You don't seem as upbeat as usual.

Poppy: No I'm fine! It's just a little hay fever that's all.

Barb: Whatever you say Popsqueak...

After the meeting was done she went over to the beach and knew she had to be careful because if she got caught sneezing by Smidge, it'd be a Poppy 911.

Poppy was checking around the beach and saw everybody was having a fun time she looked over and saw Branch.

Poppy: Hey Branchifer, how's it going here?

Branch: So far so good, no accidents or anything... yet...

Poppy playfully rolled her eyes at her boyfriend still being his full safety nerd self, but suddenly she felt a sneeze coming on, she quickly did a small sneeze and luckily no one noticed.

Branch took a look at Poppy and also noticed she wasn't as cheerful and looked a bit paler than usual.

Branch: Poppifer? Are you ok? You don't look so good...

Poppy: Branch I'm ok! I just have a bit of Hay fever today that's all.

Branch: Ok? So you coming to Delta's Hoedown tonight?

Poppy: Of course! I wouldn't miss it!

Branch: Me too! I'll see ya later tonight *kisses her cheek* love you!

Poppy: Love you too!

Poppy went back to her pod to get ready and she looked in the mirror and saw she was getting worse.

Poppy: Um... I'm starting to think this might be a cold but I need to go to this, I promised Delta I'd be there!

So Poppy wore a thick sweater over her party dress and put some makeup on to hide her paleness and headed out.

As soon as Poppy got there she felt slightly overwhelmed by the lights and felt she wanted to go home but she decided to talk to Branch as a distraction.

Poppy: Hey Branch!

Branch: Hey Pops!

Branch looked at her and saw she was wearing a sweater and thought something was up.

Branch: Why are you wearing a sweater you might get too hot in that.

Poppy: It's fine I'm just kinda...

Poppy started to feel very lightheaded and overwhelmed

Branch: Poppy? You o-

Suddenly Poppy fainted and Branch caught her in time before she hit the ground.

Branch: Oh Poppy...

The Party stopped and everyone was gathered around to make sure Poppy was ok.

Trollex: Branch, what happened!

Branch: Poppy fainted, I need some water, something to elevate her feet and a cloth

Delta: On it!

Delta quickly grabbed a Quilted Pillow and a cup of water and a Rag cloth.

Branch: Thanks...

Branch dabbed the cloth into the water and gently wetted her forehead with it. After a few minutes, Poppy started to wake up.

Poppy woke up slowly and saw Branch holding her close with a relieved smile on his face.

Poppy: W-what happened?

Barb: Popsqueak you fainted.

Branch: Why didn't you tell us you were sick?

Poppy: I-I'm sorry, I just didn't want to worry anyone and wanted to not spoil any fun...

Poppy had tears and the end of her eyes and Branch just smiled sweetly at her.

Branch: Hey... shh it's ok, you didn't ruin anything, let's just get you back to your Pod and get some rest ok?

Poppy: Ok...

Branch carried Poppy back to her Pod and The other leaders came too so Poppy felt better.
