Third Person's POV
"Go ahead and open the door", said Lui to Silas.
"Huh! Why should I? Open it yourself!", Silas replied back.
"Hmph, a peasant shouldn't talk back to his Emperor."
"Why YOU!"
"Be quiet both of you!", Quon intervened, after losing his temper.
"Who's gonna open the door?", asked a scared Kitt.
"Let's decide it with Rock-Paper-Scissor.", chimed in Zac.
Others looked at him with faces either showing an 'are you serious look 'or with a 'what are u? A 5-year old?'
Fed up with all this, Phi opened the door with shaky hands.

*Creak*

Being the old rusty door it was, it made its dramatic sound. Everyone closed off their eyes in terror and were ready for what was about to come.

But, fortunately, nothing came. Not even a small sound.

"What's with this strange silence?", Ukyo felt uncomfortable with the eeiry silence. All of them felt that."

"Maybe he is out with his friends?", Shu tried to reason out with this situation for the sake of their mental status, which is already doomed.

"H-Ha-Hahaha Yes, you might be right! Let's go in and complete our left-over tasks then!", Zac, being a sweet sunshine, tried to think positively and lighten the mood. Keyword : tried.

Agreeing with Shu and Zac, they all went in. On not finding anyone in the living room or in the lawn, they all signed in relief and relaxed a bit.

That relaxation didn'tlast long.

"What's with this sound?", Fubuki clinged close to Ren Wu.

"It's coming from the kitchen?", Free, with his great hearing ability, mentioned the source of this irritati-Ahem, I meant-weird and strange sound.

"I will go and check.", Lui stated, trying to show off his bravery.

With his shaky steps, he started approaching the kitchen's door, others following close behind.

They reached the kitchen door.

Lui opened the door.

Door was making a typical creaking sound which is Oh-so-perfect for the readers' scary reading time but trust me when I say that that sound took away the breath of the teens.

It really did.

I know its supposed to be out on Thursday but I couldn't, so here it is today on Saturday.
