Detective was thrown at a wall,by Norman. The scientific experiment looked at him in the eye. Detective was wearing a cardboard mask he used to cover his identity,he looked up to Norman full with anger and rage.

- Fool, I'm an ancient being. I've seen medieval times,I've seen what humans are capable of. What shall you offer me,servant?

 Said the evil being,Norman stood up. Despite being thrown by a being with sharp claws,he still had will to fight. The floating abominating flew to him and scratched his chest,leaving painful marks. Detective fell again breathing heavily. It was time to end this,it was time.

 He noticed Alex's body that was laying on the ground. Poor guy has fallen in combat,however he noticed that next to him was shotgun he only used twice.

- I promised this since my childhood. 'When I grow up, I want to change the world. When I grow up, I will try to get rid of works of evil'.

 Said Detective in his mind, he crawled to the shotgun that was beside now fallen,Alex. Norman simply laughed.

- You dare to try defeat darkness? Darkness consumes,darkness is everywhere,nothing can stop my scientific powers. My mind control doesn't always work and it lasts for a short while but it's useful. YOU'RE NOTHING!

 Evil entity approached him with his red glowing eyes,however Detective shot it at the chest. Norman tried to keep the pain,however Detective grabbed a large metal pipe and hit the entity in one of his legs,he then with full force pushed the entity to no avail.

 Norman laughed and threw Detective at the wall again.

- FACE IT YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT ME. JOIN ME.

 Said the Entity,however Detective noticed something in the back. It was the furnace of the house,next to it were some of the explosives. The fight took place in a large basement,so Detective had an idea. He pointed the shotgun to the explosives.

- I'd rather *cough* sacrifice myself... Than to EVER serve evil. FAITH OF TRUTH AND HOPE WILL PREVAIL!

 He shot it at the explosives. The entire house exploded,it killed them both and turned them into dust. Detective tried sacrificing himself for the greater good,something most humans strive for.
