William cleared his throat,"Oh really?"

Laura's lips were in a thin line and her jaw was tense,"Charles. How many times do I have to tell you. We are never getting married."

Charles simply shrugged and smirked with satisfaction,"Ah but darling that's not what your Aunt's letters to my Mother suggested."

"Oh yes that's right, little Charlie must listen to his Mother ." Laura's voice was thick with sarcasm. She took William's hand and quickly lead him past Charles.

Charles glowed with anger as they past. William couldn't help but laugh a little as he glanced back. Laura took them to her compartment and as soon as William slid the door shut she sunk into her chair sitting next to her window. William sat opposite of her and silently watched the landscape pass by. For a few moments they sat there in a sort of comfortable silence.

Laura sighed and stood, pacing,"He drives me insane. He thinks he can waltz into my life just because others give him permission. The only permission he needs is mine and he'll never get me to say yes again."

William stood and walked towards the door, "I'll probably should be going."

Laura stopped him by putting a hand on his arm,"William please don't go," her cheeks turned a little pink and she added,"What I mean is, you're the only one who'll listen. I-I feel like you truly care."

He gently smiled and put his hand on her's,"Let's order some tea and you tell me all about that pompous jerk."

Tintin found himself to be quite enjoying the train ride. He was sitting reading the newspaper and drinking a cup of tea. Perhaps the only crime they'll investigate is the fake one made by theatre group.

There wasn't many people in the dining car, however, he couldn't help but notice a large man in the back staring at him. Tintin's alarms silently went off. He scolded himself and tried to get back to his reading material. For Tintin, that was like trying to get Captain Haddock to be in the same room as Bianca. He looked back up and watched as the rather large man come towards his table.

"Pardon me, but are you the famous journalist Tintin?" the man was quite old and his beard was impressive.

Tintin stuck out his hand,"Yes, sir. I am not famous it is the people I write about that brings the readers."

The man chuckled and motioned to he opposite chair, "I don't believe that, may I?"

Tintin nodded,"I'm sorry sir but I didn't catch your name?"

"Oh yes,' He smiled, "I'm Edward Finch, I am the director and owner of the theartre business that will preform."

Tintin grinned," It is a honor to meet you Mr. Finch. My wife and I are really looking forward to your show."

"Please call me Edward and congratulations I have read your articles but I did not know you are married."

Tintin's heart soften just thinking about Ella and their baby, "Thank you, and we're now expecting our first child."

Edward grinned,"That's wonderful, you are a very lucky man. I wanted to meet you in person and to thank you for coming on the journey and I hope you enjoy the show. It was nice meeting you."

"I can't wait to try and solve the case, and it was very nice meeting you." Tintin stood with him and they shook hands again.

Tintin then gathered his things and went back to his compartment. He found it was locked,"Ellie, darling it's me."

He heard her laugh and she peeked around the door, "Oh good it's just you."

He smiled, "Who did you think it was?"

He walked in and sat down. Ella quickly shut the door, "Well, I started to change clothes and I didn't want someone just waltzing in.

He smirked as he watched her as she dropped her robe and wasn't wearing anything but her undergarments,"What about me?"

She grinned and couldn't help but blush every time time he gave her that look, "You're different," she picked up her dress from her luggage.

Tintin slowly walked to Ella and then he wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her neck and whispered softly, "How so?"

She sighed and smiled mischievously,"you're my husband."

"Ah, yes." he smiled and looked at her gently and caressed her face, "You're so beautiful Ellie."

She gave him a look he knew all too well, and she took a few paces back, "Darling have you seen me?" She motioned to her stomach,"I can't even see my toes and my ankles feel huge."

"The only place you have changed is right here,"he put his hand on her stomach,"And you look stunning, Ellie."

Ella smiled softly, "Thank you, " she picked up her dress and slipped it over her head and then turned around, "Will you button it for me?"

Tintin began to button, "You know this is my favorite part."

Ella turned her head a little, "Buttoning up my dress?"

He leaned in and tenderly whispered, "No, buttoning down."
