💮 [Niki's POV] 💮

Did she see it right that day?

The day Jack's house burnt down in flames, severely injuring him by the cause. She remembered, she was coming back from the lake after fishing when seeing the fire that looked somewhat like a bonfire. When she figured out it was Jack's house, she raced to his aid, seeing only Fundy pulling him out from the destroyed house. She remember seeing him yelling at others, but didn't pay attention to that, but only paid attention to the sudden figure hopping the walls.

'Wilbur..?' She thought that day. It looked like Wilbur, but she took a closer look once more before they fully went over the wall.

That was not Wilbur.

What caught her off guard was that they were wearing Wilbur's brown coat, and it obviously wasn't Wilbur since Wilbur was dead.

"So..that's what I saw." She finished, after telling the story to the others. They were outside, early in the morning, looking at the burnt ashes that were left of the house. Puffy was kicking left items that semi-survived from the fire.

"Well, have any guesses?" She asked, seeming rather calm from the situation. Niki shook her head, but looked back at Puffy with an answer.

"Maybe it was someone who was close with Wilbur!" She said, looking into Puffy's eyes.

"Techno or Phil, maybe?" Puffy guessed, crossing her arms and finding a place to sit.

"Yes, but I have a feeling Techno nor Phil would go after poor Jack," Niki responded, sitting nexted to Puffy. The two sighed, looking up at the sigh. The silence was soon broken by Puffy.

"Y'know, I haven't seen or heard from Tommy in awhile?" She said, looking back at Niki. Niki sorta froze, her thoughts speeding up.

"Yeah, well, I don't know if Tommy would do something like this." She answered, but Puffy shook her head.

"I didn't mean about..y'know..this, but just out of the blue. I kinda haven't been seeing him around." Niki looked at the burnt grass below her, giving another sigh. Puffy took her arm, putting it behind Niki and gently patted her back.
"Hey, we'll find out who did this sooner or later, alright? I think Jack's fine, he's been through a lot..sorta." Niki giggled, but her mind was brought back to the thought about Tommy.

'Puffy is right. I haven't seen Tommy in a while, either. Did something happen to him?' She just shrugged it off, just praying that Jack would be safe.
