After around 20 minutes later, they heard a knock at the door. They immediately knew it was Jungkook. Without wasting any time Y/n's mother opened the door.

The moment their eyes met with his, they knew he has been crying. His eyes were still glistening. Marks of dry tears can still be seen. His eyes have gotten puffy and red.

They didn't have to ask him to know how was he feeling. His dreary appearance was enough for them to know he has been as much heartbroken as they were.

Seeing his helpless self Y/n's dad pull him into a hug and they both again breakdown into tears. Y/n's mom just stands there trying to suppress her emotions from breaking down.

After the emotional moment, they sit down in the living room. Y/n's mom passes them glasses of water and also drinks some water.

They were sitting there in silence but then Y/n's mom decides on explaining why they called him here.

"As you may know, the police asked you to go with us to the police station as they have something for us to know which they can't tell us over the phone. So that's why I asked you to come over," she explains.

"Hm..." he hums looking down. "When did this happen?" he asked all of a sudden.

"We found out yesterday but police said it happened the before yesterday," she replies.

He nods and stays silent for some moment. But then he stood up.

"I think we should get going."

Her parents nod and they also stood up. Leaving the place they went for the car. When they arrived they entered the police station. Noticing their presence Mr Cha Jin-soo takes them to the interrogation room.

"Why did you call us? And to be specific me?" Jungkook asks.

He asks out of curiosity. He wasn't the only one who was curious. Her parents were as curious as him to know the reason behind.

"Actually on the crime scene, there was nothing with Miss Y/n beside her phone. But as the charge of her phone was gone we had to wait till it was fully changed to investigate.

And while investigating we found something. Which is for you..." he says looking at her parents. "And you," he said looking at Jungkook.

"What is it?" Jungkook asks.

"It's a voice record."
