Changmin firstly greeted him by sending him a death glare, taking a step in front of his best friend so that Chanhee won't get closer to him.

Sunwoo was kinda surprise to see him there but blood somehow boils inside him and clench his fist, wearing the same glare as Changmin.

"You! Are you going to capture me and put me in hell again?"spoke Changmin and grit his teeth as his fangs dangerously showed.

"No"Chanhee answered, leaping off from the railing to the floor of the balcony."I'm setting you free"

Both Sunwoo and Changmin didn't expect his reply as they widen their eyes a bit.

Chanhee doing this because of what Sunwoo had said that time because he wants to make things right and to make him forgive him. He even release some of the good vampires from their cages too.

"But why are you here? I told you already didn't I? Don't come near me or my place!"he reminded him, grow irritate already.

Chanhee didn't show any emotions and kept on his poker face as he shoved his hand into his pocket.

"I'm here because you forgot something and I wanna talk to you. Privately"

Lifting up one of his brow, he tilt his head while pursing his lips trying to remember about this something he forgot."Did I really forget something?"he mumbled to himself.

After thinking too much which end up giving him a headache, he shook his head.

"I don't think I left something the--"

"Yes you did and it's really important. You can't live without it"

Chanhee cut his word, leaning his back against the rail and secretly smirk behind his clean white mask.

"Come closer if you want to know"

As if that sounds convincing, Sunwoo attempt to approach him without thinking twice due to how curious he was but someone seize his hand. It was no other than Changmin.

He spun his head around to meet his gaze, a question look on his face.

"What if he's lying? What if he's trying to hurt you?"

"He probably won't do that. Don't worry. I'll be fine"

He beam him a smile and as if that smile reassure him, he release his hand and watch him step out of the room to the balcony, closing both curtain and the door because Chanhee wants to be in private.

Standing in front of the man he actually like as he crossed his arm on his chest. The morning breeze came hitting their skins, making their hair sway to the opposite of where the wind blows.

He still mad at him about it but it somehow soften his heart when he let Changmin free and not capturing him again.

"So what is it?"he asked, wearing the same expression as him and raised one brow.

Not realizing that he was getting closer to him, almost towering him a bit that his face is now an inches away from him."sorry..."

He can hear him apologize and was about to question it but his lips got seal by Chanhee after pulling down his mask and snake his arm around waist. It was slow and passionate which he likes it so much.

He even reply the kiss too just to deepen it but that didn't last long. He pressed his palms against his chest and push him away with all his might.

Cheeks are visibly flushed as he tried to look like he's still angry, he glare at him and wipe his lips with the sleeve of his (chanhee's) clothes.

What the actual fuck?!

He gaze intently into his eyes and saw something that made his heart hurt. He can see that pain in Chanhee's eyes. His eyes also glisten with... Tears? Is he crying? But he doesn't look like it. He still wear his poker face.

For like a few second of silence, he turn around after clenching his hand so hard that his knuckles turn white, he jump off from his balcony and left without saying anything to the boy he kissed.

"Why did he--?"Sunwoo was lost for words and cup his warm cheeks."So what he meant by forget was a kiss?!"

He can feel his body getting hotter than usual as he crouched down, wanting to calm his racing heart. He even said it was important and he can't live without it.

You're making me confuse!

Chanhee did that because that's probably the last time he will see him again and taste the sweetness of his lips.

He plan to stay away from him for now due to how angry he looks. But what Sunwoo didn't know was that he won't be seeing him for almost a month.

After a month passed by, Sunwoo have been feeling lonely and alone whenever he's back at his house after going to work. He never felt so empty before like something is missing in his life.

Changmin sometimes pay him a visit in case he needs company but only in a short of time because he told him he has someplace to be.

He really appreciate his company but still the empty feeling just won't go away. He always thought of Chanhee, even while working on his paperwork, his face kept on popping into his mind.

Day by day had pass, he had hope for him to show up at his balcony again like last time which reminds him of what he said that time after he knew his best friend was in the prison.

Maybe he should have listen to his explanation before jumping into conclusion like that. He probably hate me now, he thought.

His chest tighten painfully, heart aches so much that he felt like crying again. He realizes that he missed him so much. He misses his pretty face, his touch and his affection.

All he have is his keychain that he keeps forgetting to give him back and it made him smile whenever he look at it cuz it reminds him of him.

And he didn't mean to be angry but he just couldn't stay silent about it too. Heaving a heavy sigh, he put his fingers onto his forehead, massaging it.

Work have been stressful too. Changmin of course won't be going back to work since the boss said he fired him plus most people probably know about him being a vampire already.

Sunwoo felt like he's not the same person like before. He's been so quiet at work, spacing out a lot and haven't done most of his paperwork too.

Plus his boss lashing out his anger to him without any particular reason which made him to feel like shit and gave him a headache.

There's also a lot going on in this city and it always about the vampire murderers. They've been roaming freely in this city and kept on sucking humans blood without anyone stopping them.

He's also been getting sleepless night due to unfinished paperworks. He's having a really hard time. No ones there to comfort or cheer him up. Even Chanhee.

Sighing again, he wrapped his arm on top of his desk and place down his head on it. Feeling tired and sleepy. Soon his eyes becoming heavy and more heavy as he closed his eyes shut, letting the fatigue take over.

After a few hours of sleep, his phone kept on vibrating aggressively on the table beside him as he fluttered his eyes open and squint his eyes.

The first thing he sees was his laptop and some few papers on the table. He was confuse at first but then he remembers it. He was busy finishing his work last night but he fell asleep after that.

Picking up his phone, he saw an unknown number calling him as he pressed his phone against his ear waiting for the other line to speak.

"Is this Sunwoo?"

The voice spoke and it was none other than Chanhee's police members Youngjo. Sunwoo just lazily reply with a hum, placing his head back on his arm.

"Great! Then can you come to our base like right now? I don't really know what happened between the two of you but your boyfriend Chanhee haven't been eating these past few days even we forced him to. He just don't want to eat and lock himself in his room. So I thought of you that maybe you could help him stop being so pathetic"

Youngjo explained through the line, emphasizing the word 'boyfriend'. Not that he really mind tho.

Why in the world isn't he eating? Does he have a death wish?

Without even thinking twice, he just agree on coming there. Maybe because how desperate he is wanting to see him again due to how much he missed him.

He didn't bother to shower and just splash his face with water after he's done brushing his teeth. He put on his comfortable clothes and head out.

He tried to remember the path that lead him to the base but he kind of unsure if it's right or wrong so he just trust his instinct which made him to be on the same spot.

This irritates him. Grumbling in anger to himself while calling Youngjo. He wasn't aware of his surroundings that a few presence are behind him, sneaking their way towards him.

"Why isn't he picking up?"mumbled Sunwoo but when he felt like someone is behind him, he turn around to see three vampires ready to attack him.

Widening his eyes, he was about to run away from when one of the vampires lunged at him but another familiar person came to his rescue by kicking the vampire from the side.

"C-Chanhee!"

I think imma delay the updates for next week cuz I got a job and I won't be active here very often plus I still haven't finish some of the chapters so it may take some time for me to continue writing.
