A/n pov

Y/n and The two girls continued through the forest trying to locate the others.  While they did so Y/n remembered the times he would do recon with Yuma and Trifa. Adam sending them out to  jack Atlas convoys of their supplies  in their fight for equality.  To him these were the simpler times,

Pyrrha: Are you ok Y/n?

Snapping out of thought the boy nodded. 

Y/n: Yeah i'm fi- BEHIND YOU!

Pyrrha snapping around with her guard up  flipped backwards as a king Taiju  tried to eat her.

Pyrrha: Thanks Y/n.

Y/n: You can thank me after we take care of our uninvited guests.

As the Grimm turned to face Pyrrha Y/n jumped over it. Pyrrha smiled looking behind her.

Y/n:Double team assault come on Pyrrha!

Pyrrha: Right!

The two rushed down the Grimm before slashing apart it's heads. Ending the beast in but 1 blow the  two stared at each other with a smile. Hearing the roars of Beowulfs behind them the 3 turned around then got their weapons ready.

Y/n: Great some dogs need put back on their leash.

Ruby: Let's take them down quick and find the others.

Pyrrha: I have to agree.

The  three continued their attack while  back at the academy Ozpin and Ironwood were seen talking.

Ironwood: I'm glad to see things haven't changed around here Oz. So tell me you find any new promising students  this year?

Ozpin: i'd say so...9 students in particular have shown with a little time and being molded by their experiences;they could prove to be quite extraordinary. 

Ironwood: *Smiles* I see that's good to hear.  Then again i'd bet getting Weiss Schnee to admit to having to grow was rather hard for her to accept.

Ozpin: During her first week yes but not only has she grown closer to her team;as of late she's been on a road to self improvement. Thanks to one boy I believe  she's been turned to the right direction.

Ironwood: One boy huh? Interesting i'm sure Winter will be surprised that her little sister found herself a boyfriend haha.

Ozpin:*chuckles* It's not my place to interfere with my students personal lives. However if true I suppose Jacques will have a horse about it . The boy is a faunas with a good heart.

Ironwood: Oh yeah he'll flip his lid but what he doesn't know won't kill him.

Ozpin: My students aside how has Atlas been fairing James?

Ironwood: Same as usual the White fang  have been giving us hassle but, we aren't going to give up.

Ozpin: Well I do wish you the best of luck.

Ironwood: Likewise..I guess I should be on my way for the time being. I'll be in touch Ozpin.

Standing up and going on his way Ironwood  left Beacon. Ozpin began to think over James's joke then smiled.

Ozpin: Young love can truly be a wonderful thing heh.

(Back in the Emerald forest)

Having taken down the Grimm that blocked their path Ruby,Pyrrha, and Y/n continued  on their way.  While they walked Y/n spoke to Pyrrha.

Y/n: So tell me Pyrrha...what's it feel like?

Pyrrha: What are you referring to?

Y/n: How does it feel to be able to live a life away from all the cameras? Must be nice to be able to  get a break from it all.

Pyrrha: Truthfully I do find it relaxing to finally be able to have some peace. That said i'm more relieved to be friends with people who don't care about my fame but for me.

Y/n: Rather hard not to. I mean  your a stand up gal. You humble,respectful,Smart,and you wear your golden heart on your sleeve.

Pyrrha rubbed her arm in a bashful style as she blush with embarrassment.

Pyrrha: It's nothing  special honestly. I'm just doing what I can because I like helping others.

Y/n: Well the way I see it you're the full package Pyrrha. A stunning girl with a bright future  ahead.

Pyrrha:*blushes darker* I-I''m not sure about that first part but thank you.

Ruby: What are you guys talking about?

Y/n: Nothing Rubies cube, nothing at all.

Ruby:*blushes* What did you call me?

As Y/n laughed the 3 finally found the others  who all waited for them. 

Weiss:Finally you guys made it.I was starting to worry something happened.

Y/n: This was was a bit of a maze. Sorry princess but if you needed a prince he's here now.~

Weiss:*blushes* L-let's just get back on track.

Blake: I'm glad to know your ok.

Y/n: Thanks anyways so this is where the relics are huh?

Jaune: Yeah they are different from the first time..

Y/n: What were they last time?

Yang: Chess pieces.

Y/n:(mind) Ozpin sure loves his philosophical  junk huh? That cryptic and mysterious nature of his is exactly what makes him the greatest threat in my mission here at Beacon.. 

Grabbing his relic Y/n faced the others and spoke to them.

Y/n: You know I never did ask how your teams were forged. 

Ruby: Honestly  we were picked by sheer luck I guess. 

Yang;Ozpin just chose us after we finished our initiation. 

Weiss:At first I was personally against it all.But with time I learned to put up with it. And since then we've grown together.

Jaune: The same case here.. we kinda just got put together but I'm glad I did get paired with Ren Nora and Pyrrha.

Ren: We've been through alot together but it made us better because of it

Y/n:(mind) Ozpin's definitely seen their potential before they did..Call it fate or something else...something tells me their alot stronger than they realize..

Seeing everyone laugh could see  something in them he didn't think he would. Looking back at him was as though he was traveled back during the time his group in the White fang was formed. A naive group with ideals of creating a brighter future in their mind.

For the boy this sight in his core  tore him apart. He was disgusted by their spitting reflection of him from days long gone. That same innocence was the very thing that led him to ruin. What made matters worse was the Blake's presences among the group. To Y/n to see Blake so accepting of these humans and to treat him as though nothing had happened. It left with a sense of rage he couldn't ever let go of. Even so another half of him seeked something he couldn't begin to process.

Y/n:(mind)What is going on with me?

As the group  were heading back they stopped hearing rumbling. 

Jaune: I don't like this guys.

After a minute had passed they noticed a Horde of Grimm had found them.

Y/n:Shit everyone head back!  If we fight them like this we won't last long!

Running away the group rushed out towards the relic area. As they did the sound of a shriek could be heard in the sky.

Y/n:(mind)Dammit Don't tell me.

Y/n looked above as he ran seeing 4 of Grimm he didn't want to deal with.

Y/n: Great Nevermores too?!

Jaune: Are you kidding we barely managed to beat one of them last time!

Yang: What are gonna do against 4 of them plus the group behind us?!

Weiss: WELL NOT PANICKING FOR STARTERS!

Y/n: (mind) Dammit this isn't good! If we stay in the woods we  have cover against the Nevermores but it'll mean death against the other grimm. However it'll be the reverse if we enter a open area.

As a group Ursa Majors rushed at them from head Y/n cursed to himself. Using  a lightning Semblance Y/n  sliced them in half from afar.  A nevermore  sent one of it's a feathers at Weiss causing Y/n to quickly pick her up off her feet. Jumping out of the way Y/n noticed a Death stalker going to  cut them in half.  Enhancing his legs Y/n kicked off the Grimm's pincers before landing on the ground.

Y/n: This isn't good...Are you ok Weiss?

Weiss:Y-Yeah.

The other's grouped up with Y/n seeing 3 of the Scorpion like Grimm.

Y/n: If we make one wrong mistake we're done for.

Blake: We gotta deal with these Grimm first other wise dealing with the Nevermore will be impossible.

Y/n: you got a point alright everyone  if we are gonna survive we can't screw up. Work together as one..I'll take point. It's gonna sound like suicide but their is a cave not to far from here we got to get there and quickly.   

As they continued to run Nora yelled out.

Nora: YOU WANT US TO GO INTO A CAVE?! WHAT IF MORE GRIMM ARE IN THERE?! 

Y/n: WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO RISK IT! OUNCE INSIDE WE CAN ATLEAST DEAL WITH THEM WITHOUT THE NEVERMORE GETTING TO US. 

Yang: ARE YOU KIDDING WHAT IF THEY DECIDE TO CAUSE A CAVE IN?!

Y/n: THEN FROM THERE WE HAVE TO ESCAPE AND PRAY TO GOD THAT IT'LL TAKE THE GRIMM WITH IT! 

Weiss: I hate to admit it but i'm on board!

Ruby: WHAT?!

Weiss: LOOK IF WE CAN PULL IT OFF THEN THE NEVERMORE WILL BE ALL WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH! DOES ANYONE THINK THEY CAN THINK OF A BETTER PLAN!?

Jaune: H-HOW ABOUT CALLING THE TEACHERS!?

Blake: WOULD BE A GOOD PLAN IF WE DIDN'T LEAVE OUR SCROLLS IN THE CLASSROOM!?

Jaune Screamed when he saw a group of Boarbatusks  spinning towards them from the side.

Jaune: FINE CAVE IT IS!

Ren and Pyrrha saw some withered trees in front of them.

Y/n: REN,PYRRHA,RUBY SHOT THOSE TREES DOWN IT'LL BUY US SOME TIME!

The 3 quickly shot the trees causing them to collapse as they ran passed them. Running onward they   saw the cave in question before running towards it.

Y/n:(mind) It's our only chance we're isolated from any outside help. I hope this works! If we have so much as the tiniest screw up;we die here.

Running inside the cave the group went deep inside to try and catch their breathe.

Y/n: Ok we made enough  distance for now. Gather your energy then we gotta be ready.

Weiss: Listen Y/n.....after all this...there is...there is something I have to tell you. If we survive that is..

Y/n: I got no plans on dying today..I give you my word on that crap. For now we need to look around this cave. With the time we have we might just be able to do more than we thought.

Ren: What's your plan exactly?

Y/n: We  need to set traps for them in here.  The grimm are many in number but they are still mindless beasts. They have no night vision like faunas either. So it gives us an advantage..I can lure them into the darker areas of this cave and kill some of them. 

Pyrrha: I think I see what you're plan is.

Blake: We're gonna cut their numbers apart by using the cave.

Y/n:Exactly....We all have something that lead us to be here...We all the our strengths  and during your time together,you guys must have noticed it too. You guys cover each other's weaknesses and right now that's what we all have to do. Cover each other's weaknesses in order to survive. 

Weiss:*smiles* I expected nothing less from you Y/n. So Mr Prince what do you have in mind.

Y/n:*smirks* Your glyphs  seem pretty useful for suppression. If only we knew two people with the right weapons to cut off the tails of the Death stalkers.

Y/n stared  at Pyrrha and Jaune.

Jaune: We'll do our best!

Y/n: Now then I need Blake and Ruby to be ready to  strike the Boarbatusk in the air. From their Nora and Yang can bring the thunder down on them.

Y/n continued explaining the plan to the others preparing for the battle to come. The Crimson Bull  prepared the teams for battle choosing to put his faith in them as they do him for the sake of their survival. Their true test is soon to come.
