"Thanks for letting me sleep in here Javon. I would've slept in Jaden's but I don't know what's up with us." Mackenzie said rubbing her eyes.

"no problem, good to know I was your second option" Javon joked while walking to his closet.

Mackenzie got up and went over to her suitcase, Jayla got it out of her closet last night so Mackenzie had her clothes.

"so are you doing anything for your birthday tomorrow?" Javon asked. Obviously everyone was planning a party for Mackenzie, but she didn't know that.

"uh I don't know maybe treat everyone to dinner?" She didn't really know what she was gonna do and it made it even worse cause Jayla and Kylee are acting weird, and there's some tension between her and Jaden.

"It's your birthday, why would you treat everyone to dinner?".

"I don't know. Anyways are we doing anything today, I dont know what to wear".

Javon knew Jaden had baseball practice and they had to get more party supplies "well Jaden has practice and Me, Jayla, and Kylee have to go somewhere".

Mackenzie stopped looking for what to wear and stared at Javon "your gonna make me spend the day at Jaden's baseball game".

"Practice" he corrected her "and it's only like two hours".

"Javon you know there's something going on between us, why can't I go with you, Jayla, and Kylee?".

"Because you can't".

Mackenzie picked out shorts and a t-shirt, but before she walked out of Javon's room to go change she made sure to flip him off.

"Seriously why cant I go with you guys?".

The groups was in the car on their way to drop of Jaden and Mackenzie at the boys baseball practice.

"I thought you loved watching Jaden practice" Jayla smiled, she knew she didn't.

"Yeah cause I just love sitting in the heat watching boys hit a ball with a fucking bat for two hours".

Jaden looked offended "that's not all we do" he said looking out the window.

Jayla parked the car and turned around to see if Mackenzie would actually get out of the car.

"Ok whatever but I'm not sleeping in Javon's room again that boy snores so loud" Mackenzie finally agreed to stay at Jaden's practice, not like she had a choice though.

Jaden opened the door to get out grabbed his bag then following him to the diamond Mackenzie ran up to walk beside him.

"You slept in Javon's room last night?".

"Yeah, Jayla and Kylee wouldn't let me sleep in her room for a stupid reason".

"oh".

Once Jaden and Mackenzie got over to the diamond the team stopped talking and looked at the two.

"Well I'll go sit over there text me if you need anything" Mackenzie said.

"wow Jaden actually showed up" A boy said.

"what do you mean?".

"You know we though your big sister wouldn't let you come" most of the boys laughed.

Mackenzie looked the boys up and down and rolled her eyes. "Where's Tyler?" She whispered to Jaden.

He looked around "I don't know but you should probably go over there before he gets here".

"why I'm not scared of him" Mackenzie giggled.

Jaden smiled at her "yeah well practice is about to start so you need to go over to the stands anyways".

The two split way and right when she got over to the bleachers she texted Javon, Jayla, and Kylee "At least bring me a water bottle of something it's hot af out here".

Kylee texted back that they will brings drinks in a few minutes.

"We're here, come get the cooler out of the car" Javon texted Mackenzie.

Mackenzie walked over to the car "you all can do anything but take me to wherever you guys are going?".

Javon helped get the cooler out of the car "yup, and we put some extra Gatorades in here for Jaden and anyone else who wants them".

"ok, well see you guys later I guess" she walked back over to the bleachers and started looking through the cooler. It had Water and Gatorades "they did not need to bring a whole ass cooler I asked for one damn water bottle" she mumbled.

The coach blew the whistle which met the team could take a break and get a drink.

Mackenzie noticed and started walking over to Jaden "Hey Jaden, they brought some drinks for you and anyone who wants them, they're over there".

"why didn't you bring the cooler over here".

"that thing is heavy".

Jaden laughed "ok let's go get it then".

He picked up the cooler "this is not heavy".

Mackenzie rolled her eyes "dude yes it is, so uh did Tyler show up?".

Jaden looked down at the girl to his left "why do you want to see him so bad?".

There was a few seconds of silence. "It's not that I want to see him I just want to know what his reaction would be when he see's me".

The two got over the where the rest of the team was and sat the drinks down. Jaden turned around to Mackenzie and whispered "yeah he is here just don't bring anything up please".

Mackenzie shook her head ok.

A few minutes later the coach called everyone back over to the diamond so Mackenzie grabbed a water then walked back over to the bleachers.

"I kinda feel bad for Mackenzie" Kylee said as the three walked down party supply aisles.

"don't be besides keeping her with Jaden will probably make things less awkward at her party tomorrow" Jayla responded "but we're gonna have to find a way to keep her out of the house all day tomorrow until seven".

"I can take her and Jaden to the gym again".

"ok great".

"Jaden they aren't here yet" Mackenzie said running up to the boy.

Jaden looked around the parking lot "ok we can go sit on the bench over there".

They both sat on the bench and immediately texted the other three to hurry up.

"are you excited for birthday tomorrow?".

"yeah I guess, it's not like we're really gonna do anything though".
