A few minutes went by after the face time call and all Jaden could do was stair at his phone and think, who was that?

"Jaden fix you fucking posture, your in the background of our Tik tok and your back is making me cringe" Jayla said then turned her phone to where Jaden was no longer in the frame.

Kylee laughed then noticed the boy has been acting weird "what's up with you Jaden?".

"huh?" He looked at the two.

"Yeah what is up? You've been staring at your phone for like five minutes".

Jaden debated on wether to tell them or not. On one side they could agree with him and give him good advice or they would make fun of him and say he's reaching.

"Ok so you know how I was facetiming Wanna? well someone knocked on Mackenzie's door and it was a guy and he looked about our age and he was like uh, see I dont want to say hot, but yeah".

The two girls stared at him with their mouths slightly open.

"dude she can have friends" Jayla said with Kylee agreeing "Yeah definitely, but you said he was hot?".

Kylee went over to Jayla's dresser where her phone was and opened Instagram, "What's his name?".

"no clue, Mackenzie ended the call before they could tell me his name. But I heard her introduce him to Wanna it sounded like his name started with a H or something".

"Wait why did she end the call?" a now confused Jayla asked.

Jaden just shrugged his shoulders.

"Ok so maybe she's following this guy on Instagram" Kylee said going to Mackenzie's following list, she typed the letter H and about ten account came up "Do any of these names ring a bell? Harry, Harvey, Hudson-".

Jaden jumped up "Yeah it was Hudson".

"You sure?".

"I think so".

Jayla walked over to Kylee so she could see what was on her phone. Kylee clicked on Hudson's account. "Oh my gosh he is hot".

The boy rolled his eyes.

While scanning the few pictures on his account there was one that caught Jayla's eyes "click on that one".

Kylee clicked on the picture and it was a picture of Mackenzie blowing out cake candles that had a one and a three on it. "That's from her thirteenth birthday party two years ago".

Jaden walked over to Jayla and Kylee "lemme see".

The caption read "Happy birthday to my favorite person in the world, love u so much".

"There's another picture, swipe" Jaden said but he did it before he even finished his sentence.

The second picture was of Mackenzie and Hudson hugging.

"They're so cute" Kylee said then when she realized she corrected herself "like as friends".

Jaden rolled his eyes then said "look in the comments".

And there was a comment from Mackenzie's verified profile that read "love you more".

The three saw the comments at the same time and before Jaden said anything Jayla quickly defended her friend "hey this was this was what? two years ago and you don't know that could be her brother or something".

"She doesn't have a brother".

Jayla got up from her bed with Kylee and as they started to make their way out of her room to end the conversation she said "Jaden you need to trust her as much as she trusts you".

"So what do you guys want to do?" Mackezie asked while standing in front of Javon and Hudson sitting on the couch.

There was an awkward silence for a few seconds.

"What do you guys usually do here?" Javon asked.

"Well before Mackenzie left me to go film movies and shit we use to go hang out at the mall" Hudson joked.

Laughing Mackenzie said "you could of texted me or something I wasn't filming everyday".

"well I was gonna then you went to Georgia".

The three got ready to go to the mall when Javon asked "how are we gonna get there".

"I have a car".

"Really how old are you?".

"turned sixteen a few months ago".

"cool".

The seating arrangement in the car was Hudson driving, Mackenzie in the passenger seat, and Javon in the back.

Most of the car ride was Mackenzie and Hudson singing songs and Javon on his phone.

Once they arrived at the mall they went to the food court.

"It literally took us like fifteen minutes to find a table" Mackenzie sat down looking at the time on her phone.

"You're almost two years older then her so how did you guys meet?" Javon asked the question he's wondered ever since Hudson said he turned sixteen a few months ago.

Hudson waited to swallow his food before he talked, "We met at the park when I was six and she was five, right?".

"Yeah your right. And then our moms became friends so we would always hang out".

Getting a sip from his drink Javon said "oh that cool".

Mackenzie pulled out her phone and turned to where her camera could see both Javon and Hudson.

The boys both posed with Javon leaning closer to her and smiling, and Hudson putting his black sunglasses on and messing up his hair so his curls where more wavy.

The girl laughed at the boys actions and took the picture. She was gonna post it on her Instagram story, she typed "with Wanna and Huddy". Then tagged them.

She was smart enough to not post it until they left the mall though.

"So what store do you guys want to go to first?"
