Early in the morning, Neil woke up to find his bedside empty.
Where is Avni? The only thought running in his mind. Then he heard someone singing the aarti. It didn't take him long to recognize her voice. He smiled.

He got up and ran downstairs. He saw Avni doing the morning aarti while Bebe and Shweta were standing behind, adoring her.
Just then, a pat came on Neil's shoulder. It was his ever favourite super papa.

Prakash: Am I missing something?

Neil: No. Why did you say that?

Prakash: Nothing serious. Actually, I've noticed that you and your mother have started hiding things from me.

Neil: No dad. Nothing like that.

Prakash hit his head from back and said,

Prakash: Baap hoon tera. Tere is duniya mein aane mein sabse bada contribution mera hi raha hai. Ab tu mujhse jhoot bolega?
(I'm your father. I made a significant contribution in bringing you into this world. Now, you think you can tell a lie to me?)

Neil: What do you mean?

Prakash: I've seen the way you were so sad and lost after coming to know about Avni's marriage. At that time I thought its just the thought of her going away that is troubling you since you both are best friends. But, now I know the matter is totally different. You love her na?

Neil: Papa....aap...y..y.ye..ye kya keh rahe ho?

Prakash: Puttarji, acting karke kuch nahi milega. I've seen the way you look at her. You were so excited when we told you about your marriage. Instead as a bestfriend you would've been worried and shocked at the first place. But no you were busy showing your battissi. You think you can fool me?

Neil rubbed his neck in embarrassment.

Neil: I do love her . But I never wanted her to suffer a heart break.

Prakash: I know. But don't worry I'm sure she'll be over this. Well, what have you thought about honeymoon?

Neil: Honeymoon?

Prakash: arre! You don't even know honeymoon? These days kids don't know anything. I'll explain. You know after marriage couples go on honeymoon so that they can come close, emotionally as well as......physically (whispers). I know that you don't know about the physical part but I'll explain.

Neil's eyes widened in horror.

Neil: Dad!!!! I know everything. Please, stop it.

Prakash: Really! Then explain me. I want to know if you know everything or not. No Khanna man has ever failed this test. You also must know everything.

Neil: Papa! Main nahi bata raha. Kuch bhi bol rahe ho aap.
(I'm not telling anything.)

What are you not gonna tell?
Came a voice from behind. They turned around to find Avni.

Neil: N..n...nothing.

Avni: Pakka?

Neil: Yes! You go get ready. We'll leave for office in a while.

Avni: Hmmm....

She went away.

Neil: We just got saved.

Prakash looked at him expectantly waiting for him to explain what was asked to him earlier.

Neil gave a really look and went upstairs to his room.

While Prakash laughed holding his stomach.
