In the car....

Neil: Seriously Avu, who takes so much time in getting ready?

Avni: I was ready on time. Mummy Ji called me for some work. What's my fault?

Neil: Fine!

Avni: Neil, I don't know I'm feeling a little nervous.

Neil stopped the car at a side and turned towards her.

Neil: Nervous for what Avu?

Avni: How will I face everyone in the office? I'm nervous that people will judge me.

Neil: Don't worry about that. Our employees are like our family. They'll understand. Vaise bhi, who dares to make my wife nervous? (With attitude)

Avni smiled listening to him.

Neil: That's like a good girl!

Avni: Stop being so nice. I'll get spoiled.

Neil: You can't take away the right of me spoiling my wife. Got it.

Avni: Yes Sir!

In the office...

Avni and Neil entered the office. Everyone treated them with a smile as well as congratulated them for their new beginning.

Avni and Neil were overwhelmed with the staff's gesture and declared a lunch treat.

Avni was happy that nothing much changed and Neil was busy admiring his wife's beautiful smile.

They went to their respective cabins and started doing their work. They had a lot of pending work, well that was what Avni expected. But, her Darling husband had already completed her previous work.

Avni POV: God , Thankyou for blessing me with a friend like Neil. He's always helped me so much. I'm so lucky to have him. Thankyou!

She went to the washroom attached to her cabin but it was nonfunctional so she decided to use the staff washroom.

She went there and closed the door of the pot room that she was going to use. She heard some employees walking inside the washroom discussing something.

Lady 1: I just can't believe it.

Lady2: But that's the truth. They're married.

L1: I'm sure he must have married her out of pity. You know, being the gentle man he is, he would've felt bad at her condition and married her.

L2: Exactly! Otherwise who would get married to a girl who was left alone in the marriage altar by her fiance.

L1: But their marriage won't last long. After all, I'm sure Neil sir has his own needs and Avni ma'am won't be able to fulfill them, courtesy her broken heart. So either he'll cheat her with another woman or divorce her after some time.

L2: True, afterall all men are same. That girl will always think of him as a friend oblivious to the fact that he married her out of pity.

L1: Right! She's just a burden on him. Poor soul can't even see the reality. By the way, do you think he'll ever celebrate his first night with her?

L2: (Laughing) Come on, do you think he has such a bad taste. He is a gentleman. He'll never force her. I'm sure but that girl should understand that he is a man and has certain needs which she should fulfill.

L1: Leave it. Let's go. I have a lot of work to do.

With that the two ladies exited the washroom oblivious to the damage that they've done to someone's heart.

Avni was hurt would be an understatement. She was completely shattered. She cried bitterly. She immediately ran out of the washroom and headed towards the parking. She was running as if she is trying to run away from those words.

She sat in the car and sped off.

All this was watched by Neil. He was very confused yet sure that something serious had happened. He tried to run behind her but it was too late, she was already gone.

He sat in his car and followed her. He was very tensed. She was in a vulnerable state and he did not want to think of the situations she could land herself into.
