Yza ran downstairs hurridly, it was break and he had some free time to play vanguard with others. He found himself in the schools library, people playing vanguard. A middle lengthed brown haired boy, with a green piece of fabric tied around his head. He wore black shoes and his uniform. Of course, this wasn't what he normally wore. Instead on the weekends, he wore a green vest, camo shorts and black boots. He was Ryu Jomko.
"Ready for the final attack?" He asked his opponent, which was Wyvon.
"Ready as I'll ever be." He laughed.
"Alright, my Dual-flare attacks your vanguard with a boost from Cat Butler! (14000)" He commanded.
"No guard, damage check!" Wyvon said. "(Vampire Princess of Night Fog, Nightrose) No trigger there."
"Now my vanguard attacks with a boost from Cat Butler!! Go, Legion attack!!! (20000 > 25000) Skill active, since I have 4 or more rested units, an extra critical! (1★ > 2★)" Ryu shouted.
"Perfect Guard!" Wyvon responded.
"Skill of Dual-flare, standing him back up with 5000 more power! (9000 > 14000)" Ryu said. "Twin drive! First (Red Lightning) a critical! All effects to vanguard. (20000 > 25000) (1★ > 2★) Second! (Twin Blader) No trigger there. Now, Cat Butler's skill! Retiring him, and STANDING MY VANGUARD!!"
"W-what?!" Wyvon stammered.
"Dual-flare, attacks!! (14000)" Ryu shouted.
"Guard with Colombard! (11000 > 16000)" Wyvon said.
"Now, vanguard, attack!! (25000) Skill activated!! Now, since I have more then 4 rested units, an extra critical!! (2★ > 3★) Go ahead and try to guard!!" Ryu smirked.
"Guard with Rough Seas, Graham and Good Luck  (11000 > 31000), pull 2 triggers and its game over." Wyvon said.
"I'll take that challenge! Twin drive! First! (Minimum Raizer) Critical! All effects to vanguard! (25000 > 30000) (3★ > 4★) and second! (Red Lightning) Critical trigger!! All effects to vanguard, awesome overkill of 5 damage and take it!! (30000 > 35000) (4★ > 5★)" Ryu shouted.
"Damage... (Freddy the Ghostie, Dragon Undead, Bone Dragon, Underling Pirate Skeleton, Gorgeous Shade) A draw trigger. Power to vanguard, (11000 > 16000) and draw. Last damage check... (Death Fog Knight of Tainted Sword) Nothing. You win." Wyvon smiled.
Ryu smirked. "I defeated you and your small fry pirates!! Take that!!" He laughed, proud of himself. Wyvon sweatdropped at the sight. "What?"
"Your acting an absolute idiot, Jomko." Wyvon said.
"Whatever!" Ryu laughed it off.
Yza looked at Ryu. "A new person I never fought before. Looks like I'm gonna fight him!" He thought.

"Hey you!" Yza chirped.
"What's up Blade?" Wyvon grinned.
"You know this geiser?" Ryu asked.
"Names Yza Blade. I challenge you to a cardfight, Ryu!" Yza stared intensly.
"How do you know my name?" Ryu asked.
"We're in alot of the same classes together." Yza replied.
"Yza... Yza... Yza... Scar boy, aren't you?" Ryu laughed.
"Scar boy? Really..." Yza sweatdropped.
"Eh," Ryu mumbled. "You wanted a game?" He was rocking back and forth on his black chair.
"Yes. Of vanguard!" Yza exclaimed.
Ryu stopped rocking and smirked. "Lets see your deck first," He smiled innocently.
"Alright then." Yza accpeted, handing over his deck. Ryu grabbed it out of his hands and looked through the cards.
"So the rumours were true. Stardust Knight of the Star Gate. And their leader..." Ryu thought as he took a good look at Shooting Star Dragon, "Is the Shooting Star Dragon. Limit Break 4, counterblast 2 and discard a grade 3 to shuffle back 3 cards from the drop zone back into the deck, then reveal the top 3 and call any grade 1 and greater cards, and place any grade 0 and lower into the drop zone. Interesting card." Ryu thought. "Lets play, scar boy."

Wyvon moved from his black chair to the adjacent one, and Yza gets his deck back from Ryu. They both set up.
"You ready?" Ryu asked.
"Yes," Yza said, looking at his hand. This weekend, Shin (a man who had green hair and owned Card Capital 2) had a mysterious shipping of cards for the Stardust Knight clan, let Yza have it free of charge.
"Stand up (the!) Vanguard!" Yza and Ryu exclaimed. Yza imagined it.

In the Star Gate, a orange and white robot appeared, and opposite to him was a dragon made of blue stardust.

"Stardragon, Babydust Draco!" Yza said, vanguard circle expanding into a white circle with a hint of light blue.
"Transmigrating Evolution, Miraioh!" Ryu exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding into a light orange. "I'll start our adventure. Draw, and ride, Tough Boy! Pulling back Miraioh and end."

"Stand and draw. Ride, Mage of Stardust, pulling back Draco and I call Starblade behind the vanguard. And with a boost, we attack!! (6000 > 14000)" Yza exclaimed.

A mage in purple robes with a staff made of stardust replaced the dragon, who moved back. Starblade Shooter appeared behind, and Mage attacked the grey robot with grey and green shields.

"No guard," Ryu said with total confidence.
"Don't get cocky against this noob." Wyvon said.
"Eh, I honestly don't care." Ryu said.
"When did Jomko get so cocky?!" Wyvon exclaimed.
"Ahem," Yza coughed in annoyance. "Drive check! (Stardust Angel) Critical! All effects to vanguard! (14000 > 19000/1★ > 2★)"
"Damage. First, (Ultimate Raizer, Glory-hand) and second (Three Minutes) Draw trigger! Power to vanguard (8000 > 13000) and draw." Ryu put on a plain face with an innocent smile. A shiver went down Yza's back as he saw the calmed Ryu.
"Turn end..." He said.

"Stand and draw. Ride, King of Sword, call Tough Boy, and counterblast 1, Miraioh into soul, looking at the top 5 cards of my deck and adding Mega-flare to hand. Next up, I shuffle back the remaining 4 cards and with a boost, my vanguard attacks. (10000 > 18000)" Ryu said.
"No guard." Yza replied.
"Drive check! (Cat Butler) Nothing," Ryu sighed almost inaudiably.
"Damage check- (Dustbau) Nothing for that one." Yza said.
"End of my go." Ryu said.

"Stand and draw. Ride, Bashful Starstriker, and calling Speeddust to rear-guard! Then, with a boost from Babydust, Speeddust attacks! (9000 > 14000)" Yza said.
"Guard with King of Sword! (10000 > 15000)" Ryu smirked.
"Then, my vanguard attacks!! (10000 > 18000)" Yza declared.
"Guard with Red Lightning! (10000 > 20000) Good luck getting a trigger." Ryu said.
"Drive check (Starblade Shooter) I got nothing there..." Yza mumbled softly, slight dissapointment in his voice. "With that I end."

"Stand and draw. Raizer with no limits, surpass perfect and go into ultimate!! Critical ride!! Ultimate Raizer, Mega-flare!!" Ryu smirked.

The robot that looked like a king was emerged in an orange light, soon what stepped out was a large red mecha with green piercing eyes, and a large gun to boot. Bashful shook in fear, eyes widening slightly as the robot gave a deep stare.
"We are the raizers. Watch when we work in tandem with one another." He said sternly, shaking up the opponent's vanguard.

"Call, Dual-flare along with a Cat Butler behind Dual-flare." Ryu smirked. "With a boost from Cat Butler, Dual-flare attacks! (9000 > 14000)"
"No guard!" Yza said, flipping over the top card and placing it into his damage zone. (Mage of Stardust)
"Now, my vanguard attacks, with a boost from Tough Boy! (11000 > 19000)" Ryu exclaimed.
"No guard!!" Yza said, squeezing his eyes shut for whatever was about to come.
"Twin drive!" Ryu smirked, flipping the top 2 cards. "First, (Cat Butler) and second (Ultimate Raizer, Dual-flare)!"
"Damage, (Shooting Star Dragon) no trigger." Yza said. "I was hoping for a critical trigger..."
"Good, I locked him out of Limit Break. Lets see what this kids got." Ryu thought, death face on. Yza felt a shiver down his spine as he looked at his unimpressive hand.

"Stand and draw..." Yza said, taking the top card, and he stood up in shock. "I win." He smirked, sitting back down. "Dragon of the cosmos, leader of the stardust, hear my call!! Ride my avatar, Shooting Star Dragon!" Yza smiled, slamming down a grade 3 into his drop zone. "Liberating the Generation zone!"
And at that moment... Ryu knew he messed up. He took a look at his G Zone consisting of 1 card, and Ryu smirked anyways, as he had the perfect plan to stop his assualt.
"Using skills learnt by yours truly!" Wyvon bragged.
"Starflare Shooter!!" Yza exclaimed, vanguard circle expanding a light blue. "Then, I call Tactian and Starblade. Now, with a boost from Draco, Speeddust attacks! Skill, 3000 added power!! (12000 > 17000)" Yza declared.
"No guard," Ryu said, flipping over the top card. "Three Minutes. Draw trigger, all effects to vanguard and draw! (11000 > 16000)"
"Now, my vanguard attacks!! (26000)" Yza commanded.
"Twin Blader stops the attack!!" Ryu exclaimed.

An elf with a stardust battle armour and a bow pulled back, blue flamed arrow in hand. He let go of the string and the arrow furiously shot foward, to try and burn up the robot, but then, a silver robot with two yellow blades intercepted and pushed back the arrow with a flame tip.

"Triple drive! (Stardust Angel) Critical! All effects to Tactian! (9000 > 14000/1★ > 2★) And the others (Cataclysm Shieldkid, Stardust Medic) Heal trigger! Healing a point of damage, power to Tactian! (14000 > 19000)" Yza exclaimed. "With a boost, he attacks! (19000 > 27000)"
"No guard! (Ring Girl, Clara) Heal! Healing one myself, power to vanguard. (16000 > 21000) Second (Tough Boy)" Ryu said.
"End..." Yza said through gritted teeth.

"Stand and draw. Let me show you the power of... Legion." Ryu smirked. "Legion, Seek mate! Work in tandem as you show your excellence, LEGION!!" The vanguard circle expanded a orange colour, and a legion symbol appeared on the cards.
"Two vanguards? Its just like Ayaza..." Yza thought.

~Flashback~

"Legion, and seek mate!! Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion!!" Ayaza exclaimed.

~Present~

Yza gritted his teeth as Ryu called the remains of his hand to the field.
"With a boost from Cat Butler, Dual-flare attacks! (9000 > 14000)" Ryu said.
"No guard, damage check! (Bashful Starstriker)" Yza said.
"Then my other one attacks! (9000 > 14000)" Ryu smirked.
"No guard! (Cargocarrier, Stardust Charger) Draw trigger! Power to vanguard and draw! (11000 > 16000)" Yza said.
"Vanguard attack!! Skill, gets an extra crit! (20000 > 25000/1★ > 2★)" Ryu said. "Skills of Dual-flare, stand up!! 5000 extra power! (9000 > 14000)"
"I perfect guard with Cataclysm!" Yza explained.
"Twin drive. First, (Red Lightning) Crits for days! All effects to vanguard! (20000 > 25000/2★ > 3★) Second! (Twin Blader) No trigger. Then, Cat Butler's skill! Retire and stand the vanguard! My two rear Dual-flares attack first, one at each of your rear-guards!"
"They can go." Yza said, retiring his rear-guards.
"Now, my vanguard attacks, 25000, 3 crits!" Ryu said.
"Guard with Angel and Medic! (16000 > 36000)" Yza said.
"Twin drive! (Ring Girl, Clara) Whoo, heal! Healing one, power to vanguard! (25000 > 30000) Second (Minimum Raizer) Critical!! All effects to vanguard! (30000 > 35000/3★ > 4★) Retire Cat Butler, vanguard stands up, and attacks again!!" Ryu exclaimed.
"Perfect guard!" Yza said.
"Twin drive! (Red Lightning) Crits for days! All effects to vanguard! (35000 > 40000/4★ > 5★) Second! (Minimum Raizer) Critical hype!! All effects to vanguard! (40000 > 450000/5★ > 6★) Cat Butler retires and vanguard stands!!" Ryu smirked.
"45000, 6 critical, one card in hand!! This is... Legion? Ayaza's could attack the front row, and this had major critical and power..." Yza thought as he quivered.
"6 crits...." Wyvon whistled, looking at Ryu's hand. It went from nothing to a 6 card hand from basically nothing.
"Vanguard, attack!! (45000)" Ryu declared. "6 critical!"
"No guard.." Yza said.
"Twin drive! (Twin Blader, Ultimate Raizer, Mega-flare) Nothing there." Ryu smiled.
"Damage check..." Yza mumbled, 6 cards flying into the damage zone. (Cargocarrier, Stardust Charger, Stardust Medic, Fullforce Startactian, Starflinging Catapulter, Starblade Shooter, Shooting Star Dragon) "You win." Yza said, a plain smile on his face.
"You didn't do to bad yourself," Ryu said, ruffling Yza's hair.
"Man, I'm pumped for another match!!" Wyvon cheered.
"How about a match?" Yza asked.
"Your on!" He replied.
"This'll be interesting." Ryu smiled.

That was so fun to write, you wouldn't understand, lmao. Anyways, looks like Ryu got hexa crit and Yza couldn't stop the restanding vanguard of doom. Like, Ryu went from no cards in hand to eight. Dude, Cat Raizers ftw.
