After the match, Kaiko was walking out of the stadium, the sky a bright light blue.
"Curator Rimen-senpai, waaaaait!!" She called out, running after the man.
"Yes, Kazue?" Kaiko asked her, turning his head.
"Thanks for this match." Kazue said as she went on her tiptoes and kissed Kaiko's cheek. "I'll be sure to win the competiton for you!!" She waved back at him and ran on the gravel path. Kaiko rubbed his cheek in surprise.
"What in the? You know what, never mind..." He shrugged it off and continued to walk away.
"Ah, Curator Rimen sir, did the battle go according to plan?" Jinsei asked with his bright facade. He was trying to hold back laughter from the kiss.
"No, I lost. But I did get something out of this match. C'mon, lets go Jinsei." He continued to walk.
"Yes sir."

"Everyone I know is losing!! This is like a tradegy!" Yza whined as he sighed.
"We really shouldn't underestimate everyone..." Rukia deadpanned. "These guys are tougher then I thought." She facepalmed.
"I'm scared for my match, you have Shika!!" Yza exclaimed.
"I guess." Rukia stood up and said, "I'm going to the pratice room to sharpen my skills, later." She left. Yza nodded and picked up his can of diet coke and sipped it.

"In the blue corner, its the duke of the dragons, the beholder of darkness itself, Backlion Demiza!!" The announcer exclaimed as chering and clapping happened.
"My, my, looks like all my friends have lost so far. But I'll win." Backlion smirked as a glint was in his eye. "I'll make sure of it." A blue light followed him as he walked foward.
"And in the red corner, its the swordmaster of dragons, the user of the Blue Dragon Blade itself, Inu Blaze!!" The Announcer exclaimed as the crowd cheered and clapped.
"I'm all fired up, so don't dissapoint me!!" Inu declared, he had pitch black hair, hazel brown eyes, black leather jacket with red shirt underneath, navy blue jeans with a black half skirt hiding his FiCa underneath. He had trainers which were a crimson and white. A red light followed him as he ran foward.
"Both fighters ready?!" The Announcer exclaimed.
"Stand up (the!) Vanguard!!" Backlion and Inu declared together.
"Black Dragon Whelp, Vortimer!" Backlion exclaimed.
"Dragon Knight, Sadegh!" Inu exclaimed back.

On a gladiator like arena, a blue haired boy with a purple, black and gold armour and sword appeared, helmet a horse like shape. On the other side, a brown haired boy with a flaming spear and yellow and blue dragon scaled clothes appeared, each glaring at each other.

"I start, stand and draw. I ride Vortimer and use Vortimer's skill. Check top seven cards of deck and add Vortimer to hand. Call Dantegal then I end." Backlion smirked.

A brown haired boy with hazel brown eyes and black rimmed glasses, with a cream coloured jumper with an aztec inspired design with black trousers and school shoes watched.
"Go get them Inu!!" He cheered his older brother on.

"I'll prove that I'm better than my bro at one thing!!" Inu thought, Backlion not guarding and him flipping a card. (Twilight Arrow Dragon)
"Damage check. (Dawnngal)" Backlion said.

Rukia walked into the pratice hall, where cardfighters could fight to either pratice their skills, or because they wanted to cardfight. Kyle was at a table shuffling his deck, facing thr opposite of a girl with short blue hair,  light blue eyes and a black vest made of cotton. She had magenta straps going criss cross on her body and black fingerless gloves, and snow white arm sleeves that didn't attach to the vest. She also wore some black shorts and a blue dress over it, which had a slit in the middle.
"Game 3 of this game huh," Kyle said.
"Yeah, your deck is easy to beat." Replied the girl.
"C'mon Aqua, you know thats a lie." Kyle smirked at her.
"Hey, you got lucky crit sacking first round." Aqua smirked back. Rukia only recognised Kyle's face so far out of all the cardfighters. She walked up to him.
"Anyways, lets get this match started!" Kyle sighed as he strectched. Aqua shuffled her hand and nodded.
"Stand up, the-" They began until Rukia said,
"Um, hey?"
"Rukia?" Kyle looked at her.

"Inu guarded the first attack, took the vanguard attack and Backlion managed to crit him! Inu's damage check was a Radiance Dragon and Galgi." The announcer said.
"End." Backlion smirked.

"A double retire... So what? You have nothing left on your field, so I'm not scared." Backlion kept a calm and cool exterior.
"Grr... Attack! (9000)" Inu declared.
"Because of Vortimer's skill, since I have the grade 1 Vortimer, he's on a 10k base, a single trigger to pass." Backlion smirked some more.
"I hate you... (Mother Orb Dragon) Heal trigger!" Inu cheered. "Power to vanguard and heal a damage! (9000 > 14000)"
"Damage check. (Flame of Victory) Crit. All effects to vanguard." Backlion replied.
"End." Inu smirked.

"Stand and draw... Dark flames of the Black Knights spear, part the heavens and etch the legend into the land, I ride my avatar... Spectral Duke Dragon!!" Backlion declared, vanguard circle expanding gold.

On Cray, a duke like black dragon with purple eyes and beautiful golden armour holding a scythe with black energy coursing through it appeared, as he struck his scythe through the older looking Vortimer on a horse, and a horse with three horns and gold armour and a lady with a sword and yellow dress appeared.

"Skill, retire Vortimer and check top two cards of deck. Call Marcia and Bicorn." Backlion said. "With a boost, attack! (8000 > 15000)"
"No guard! (Dragon Knight, Nadel)" Inu exclaimed.
"Then the vanguard attacks! Golden Reaping!! (11000)" Backlion declared.
"No guard aswell!" Inu had sweat running down his brow. "Grr... He's gonna restand the vanguard!"
"Twin Drive." Backlion smirked with a slight glimmer in his eyes. (Dantegal, Holy Mage, Bryderi) "Critical trigger. All effects to vanguard! (11000 > 16000/1★ > 2★)"

Spectral Duke Dragon used his scythe to slice through the red dragon.

"Damage check... (Dragon Knight, Tanaz, Gattling Claw Dragon) Perfect!  A draw, power to vanguard and draw! (9000 > 14000)" Inu grinned.
"Then I end." Backlion replied.
"Damn, thats right, he doesn't have three rear-guards to retire, I'm an idiot!!" Inu groaned in his head as he facepalmed.

"Inu, Neko, what did you guys get on your exams?" Their mother asked as her soms came home from school. Neko, the boy who was cheering his brother, handed the paper to his mother.
"Here mom." Inu said as he handed his aswell and running upstairs in a hurry.
"98 points Neko, well done." She smiled. She then sighed and put a hand on her cheek. "Really Inu? 42..."
Inu slammed the door of his room shut and locked it as he pushed himself on the door and slid down with a sigh. "Damn..." He tightened his fists as he dropped to the carpet floor. "Why do I have be the idiot?"

"Stand and draw! Eternal flames of the blazing dragon, slice the heavens with your sword! I ride my avatar, Dragonic Blademaster!" Inu declared as his vanguard circle expanded light red.

Appearing opposite of the golden dragon covered in blazing flames, a dark blue sword with a silver blade and gold line sliced through it, a red dragon cloaked in gold armour and large red wings with dark blue linings.
"Time for you to learn about the power of the Blue Dragon Blade!" He smirked.

"Liberating the Generation Zone!!" Inu exclaimed. "Coated in powerful fire and prideful dreams, cut the heavens and beyond with your powerful twin blades!! Generation Stride! Supreme Heavenly Emporer Dragon, Dragonic Blademaster "Taiten"!!" The vanguard circle expanded light red.

As raging red flames covered the dragon once more, a x mark appeared between the flames, burning them out to reveal an older version of Dragonic Blademaster with two twin swords, both gold with silver blades. His dark blue wings were now a stunning gold with a green gem, and he had a head crest which was a gold and also had a green gem.
"These are the Red Twin Dragon Prison Swords!" He pointed a sword at his opponent.
"That sword huh?" Spectral Duke asked. "I've heard the legends, but haven't seen it up close..."
"And its about to get personal!" Dragonic Blademaster flew up inro the sky and shot a whirlwins of burning flames and destroyed Marcia.

"Stride skill, retire Marcia! Then I call Nadel. Next I use Taiten's skill, counterblast and G Persona Blast! For every face up copy in the G Zone, retire a rear-guard! Burn, Bicorn!" Inu exclaimed.
"So be it." Backlion retired his unit.
"Then I add a new skill! Using Nadel's skill, he gets a new skill! With a boost, my vanguard attacks and since I have more rear-guards then you, my vanguard becomes blazing!!" Inu exclaimed.
"Woah daddy, its Kagero's Blaze! Activates when you attack with a Blaze unit, your vanguard becomes blazing if you have more rear-guards!" The announcer exclaimed.
"Skill, my vanguard gets a crit! Skill, countercharge and add 4000 power! (7000 > 11000) (1★ > 2★) (26000 > 37000, 2★)" Inu declared.
"No guard." Backlion smirked.
"Triple Drive!! (Lava Flow Dragon, Dragon Dancer, Marcel, Radiant Dragon) Nothing." Inu grumbled.
"Damage check. (Holy Mage, Pwyll, Scout of Darkness,Vortimer) Nothing either." Backlion smirked some more.
"Turn end." Inu replied.

Using skill, counterblast and check top three. Call another Jeffrey and shuffle back the rest into deck. (9000 > 16000)"
"I guard with Blue Ray Dracokid! (11000 > 21000)" Inu declared.
"Then using Jeffrey's Unite skill, into soul and draw a card." Backlion smiled innocently as he closed his eyes and reopened them with a slight glimmer.
"Thats Gold Paladin's keyword, Unite! Active when two or more cards are called to rear or guardian circles!" The announcer exclaimed.
"Vanguard attacks! (25000)"
"Perfect guard!!" Inu exclaimed.
"Triple drive. (Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer, Pharmacy Witch, Holy Mage, Bryderi) Heal trigger. Healing a damage and power to Marcia. (8000 > 13000) Attack! (13000 > 20000)"
"No guard. (Wyvern Strike, Galgi)" Inu gritted his teeth.
"Using Jeffrey and Marcia's Unite. I place both into soul, draw a card and countercharge one." Backlion smirked smugly. "End."

Inu felt the pressure of the stadium slowly taking away his confidence. "Damn it, I messed up... How did I let myself get to this level?" He rubbed his eyes as he stood and draw.
"Generation Stride!! Divine Dragon Knight, Mahmud. Then I call Radiant Dragon and use skill! Counterblast, soulblast and retire Pywll. He gets 2000 power and a new skill where he gets 2000 power for every empty rear-guard circle if my vanguard is Blazing. (9000 > 11000) Then I call Marcel. With a boost from Marcel, attack! Marcel's skill, vanguard becomes blazing!! (11000 > 21000 > 28000)" Inu exclaimed.
"No guard. (Dantegal) Critical. All effects to vanguard. (11000 > 16000/1★ > 2★)" Backlion smirked.
"Then using Marcel's skill, check top five and add a grade 3 to hand! Add Blademaster! Then vanguard attack!! Skill, countercharge and add 4000 power! (7000 > 11000) (26000 > 37000)" Inu declared in desperation.
"Perfect guard." Backlion replied simply, his eyes showed he was having fun.
"Grr..." Inu ran a hand through his hair and flipped three cards.
"Me and you are pretty similiar." Backlion said before Inu snapped.
"...first check. (Dragon Knight, Jannat) A critical... Useless... Second. (Dragon Knight, Nadel) Finally, third... (Twilight Arrow Dragon) Nothing. I end." Inu said as he gave up.

Once again and I call Vortimer! I call Bicorn from hand. With a boost from Bicorn, Henrines attack! (9000 > 16000)" Backlion declared.
"Atleast I'm not stupid enough to show that throwing in the towel now would look suspicious and/or degrading." Inu sighed and intercepted with Radiant and Gattling Claw. (11000 > 21000)
"Vanguard attack! (11000 > 21000)" Backlion exclaimed.
"Perfect guard! Skill, countercharge!" Inu declared.
Backlion smirked with a slight glimmer in his eyes. "Twin Drive. (Dantegal, Flame of Victory) Double critical! All effects to vanguard! (11000 > 21000, 1★ > 3★) Then using Spectral Duke's skill! Counterblast 2! Retire Henrines, Bicorn and Dawnngal! Restand..." He hovered a hand over the stack of cards and the card started trying to stand up as golden energy tried to restrain it. "The..." The card broke the energy and stood upright. "Vanguard!!" The vanguard circle expanded gold with crackled bits.

As Spectral Duke Dragon's first attack was blocked out by a red long snake like dragon holding a green orb that made a protective orange barrier.
"You three shall be my sacrifice..." Spectral Duke said as he held his scythe sideways and broke it in half, a black burst of energy shot out and into the skies, hitting the three units and destroying them as Spectral Duke's new scythe came floating down, more magnificent and golden then ever before, but at the same time the dark aura that grew off it was extremely powerful. He dropped the broken scythe and headed to the skies, grabbing the new scythe and twirling it around and shooting down with power and ambition. "This scythe shall end you!"

"Perfect guard once more!!" Inu exclaimed panting. "Countercharge!"
"As my vanguard lost twin drive, I can only perform one drive check. (Pharmacy Witch) Heal trigger. I can't heal but power to rear-guard. (9000 > 14000) Attack! (14000 > 21000)" Backlion exclaimed.
"I can't guard... Damage check! (Blue Ray Dracokid) Nothing." Inu said with a sigh at the end, but his facial expressions showed relief. "Finally, its over..."
"And they said that Spectral Duke decks were not meta." Backlion smirked confidently.
"Well there you have it ladies and gentleman, Backlion Demiza has won!!" The announcer exclaimed as cheering and clapping happened. Backlion walked foward to Inu and gave out a hand.
"Good game."
"Good game aswell..." Inu shook his hand.

"Well that was an easy match." Kyle said as Aqua sweatdropped.
"Whatever..." She stretched.
"Hey Aqua, you know how you said you and Kyle were a couple?" Rukia asked.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"Well... You see, theres this guy I like..." Rukia said with a blushing face. "And I was wondering.... How... How should I ask him out?"
"Let me guess, its Yza." Kyle said simply. Rukia's face became more pink as she nodded quickly.
"Hmm..." Aqua put a finger to her chin as she replied, "You should tell him your true feelings. Like if you care about him, love him and stuff, tell him that."
Rukia nodded. "I'll do it at lunch."
"Good luck then." Kyle said with a chuckle.
"I just hope he accepts..." Rukia deadpanned.
