Kyle was in an apartment in Kyoto, checking his messages.
"..." He sighed. "Sorry, Aqua." Looking down at his phone, he saw messages from Aqua. He switched his phone off and put it on the table. "..."

"Okay, so I'll take this card and put it here..." Ryu put cards down and around as Hiyori was performing a trick on him.
"Alright." She clapped her hands together. In front of her were five face down cards. "Now, before this, I shuffled the deck fairly and split it up into five decks, and you just took one card from each in a random fashion."
"Yup.." Ryu nodded.
"And when you checked the deck before, there were no cards with any pen marks?" She asked.
"Of course."
"Now, what if I told you that I forced you to choose those cards without even knowing it."
"Yeah right. I chose the cards, with my will..." He laughed.
"Hm, suspicious, because in my second deck of cards here..." She picked up a deck laying next to her, and looked through the deck and grabbed five cards. "These five cards have your name written on it." She showed him five cards. A King of Spades, Seven of Hearts, Two of Hearts, Ten of Diamonds and an Ace of Clover, all of which had in big, bold letters, RYU.
"Okay..." He raised a brow.
"Flip the cards." Hiyori said. Ryu did so, and surprise, surprise, the same five cards were face up, and the cards had his name on it.
"That's freaky...!!" Ryu was in a state of shock and happiness, laughing as he didn't know how she did it.
"Ahahaha. Thanks." Hiyori smiled.
"Is that one of the tricks you'll be performing in the show?" He asked.
"Nah, it requires me to know a name before hand and I'm picking strangers for my tricks." Hiyori shrugged. "Atleast I'll know you're there."
"Yup. Well, good luck then." Ryu grinned.
"Say, why'd you come back home now?" Hiyori asked.
"Some stuff happened back where I was..." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't want to deal with that stuff, being honest."
"What stuff?" She asked him.
"It's nothing important really." Ryu stood up.
"Well, it must be for you to return here."
"Yeah, well, maybe I wanted a different pace of life or something..." He sighed.
"Oh, Ryu," Hiyori said.
"Yeah?" Ryu replied.
"You need a haircut. You look like Tarzan." She said bluntly.
"Says Miss Pink Hair. That's probably dyed." Ryu replied in a joking manner.
"This is natural thank you very much..." Hiyori pouted. Ryu laughed.
"I'll take your idea of cutting my hair. Washing long hair is a pain in the ass."
"You're only barely reaching back length. Imagine trying to wash mine..."
"Cut it then," Ryu shrugged.
"Eh, maybe."

"Kyle, hey," Backlion grinned.
"Hm?" He looked behind him, seeing Backlion. "Hey dude."
"So, Kyle."
"Yup?"
"I know your little secret." Backlion smiled.
"Secret?" He replied, eyebrow raised.
"Give me a P, give me a S, give me a Y, and give me a Q~U~A~L~I~A!" Backlion cheered.
"Psyqualia...?" Kyle swallowed hard.
"Yup. You have it, don't you...?"
"What is that anyways?"
"Don't play dumb with me, Kyle. Look, we need to talk about our strange phenomenon in secret."
"So you also have it..."
"Yes. You're not the only one." Backlion smiled.
"Alright, let's talk."
"Meet me at my place, okay?"
"Okay."

At Backlion's apartment, Kyle and Backlion were talking about Psyqualia.
"It's so... Weird." Kyle said.
"But powerful, nevertheless." Backlion replied.
"Of course you'd say that. Who else has this power?" Kyle asked.
"Ayato." Backlion replied, picking up a cup and sipping on his tea.
"Ayato huh... He was always shady."
"Yup." Backlion dropped the cup, it going the floor and spilling the drink. "Oops."
"Oh, let me get that." Kyle lowered himself down and got the cup, before being kicked down on the floor by Backlion. "Gak!!" Kyle groaned. His body was being pushed down by Backlion's foot.
"Now, Kyle." Red marks appeared under his eyes. "Join me. Join the Void and come to the Яeverse. You have the perfect avatar, and amazing ability that we can use."
"...never...!!" Kyle choked out his words.
"Oh, so you'd rather die?"
"Yes, I'd rather kill myself then join the likes of people like you!!"
"How about if I put your friends and family on the line? Or how about Aqua? You know, the girl you love." Backlion smirked.
"...y-you wouldn't..."
"I would. In fact, Ayato is on his way to meet her now, and if you don't comply, I'll tell him to kill her."
"...you'll go that f-far...?!" A phone beeped.
"Oh. Look at this, Ayato just texted me." Backlion smirked. "And he's with Aqua."
"..." Kyle was at a standstill.
"If you don't want me to kill Aqua, I can kill Yza, Ayaza, Rukia, anyone else that your friends with..." Backlion rambled on. "But they're all important to you, right?"
"..." He was shocked, left with no words, trying to figure out what to do.
"Should I give Ayato the order to kill... Hm... Everything that happens is going to be your choice, Kyle."
"...don't hurt them...!!"
"Then join us!!"
"I'm not joining you..." He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, his face filled with anger.
"Then say bye bye to your friends. Killing you would be fun still, but, watching your face suffer as you watch your girlfriend die... Priceless. What's it gonna be Kyle? Guilt of the death over your girlfriend, your friends, everyone you care about, or you can join us and prevent all of this from happening."
"Fine... I-I'll join..." He gave in, as despair loomed over him.

"I can't kill this girl..." Kyle muttered, him sweating as he bashed the wall of his apartment with his fist. "I can't take someone's life...!!" He growled in anger. "But this damn Яeverse has a hold of me... I barely have control over myself!!" Kyle shouted, him dropping to his knees as he tried to fight the curse brought upon him.

"Six damage. Become Яeversed, Kyle!" Backlion declared as he took Chaos Breaker Dragon on the vanguard circle, and slammed it down, on it again, restanding the unit. Suddenly, a black ring appeared around Kyle and engulfed him in a light.
"Gyaaaa!!" He shouted in agony as he could feel himself being taken over by something, and not letting him be in control.

He panted, sweat dripping off his forehead. "The only thing helping me clear my head is my Psyqualia... Other than that, I'm mind-washed... I'm going to become a monster... Aren't I?" He chuckled darkly, trying to control his ravaged breathing.

In a dimly lit room, Backlion smiled darkly. Standing beside him was Spectral Duke Annihilation.
"I feel it. Two more users of Psyqualia. Say, Tai, Kane."
"Yes, my Lord?" Tai and Kane knelt down before the leader of the Яeverse.
"I want you two to Яeverse the poor girls. They're currently in a library."
"Alright, my Lord." The two twins stood up, and went their ways towards the library.
"It seems that our pieces are set in place. This war will be like a game of chess. I'll have Rukia take down one of our bigger threats, Yza. She's the queen of this game. Our Pawns are Tai, Kane, Max and Shika. They go in and knock down weaker opponents. Kyle is the Knight, Ayato is a Rook, and Zeon is a bishop because I don't have any other role for him, sadly." He laughed. "And I'm the King. The one who needs to be struck down to be checkmated."
"I see, Backlion." Spectral Duke said. "What am I to you?"
"You... You are me. You're a King."
"I see then."
"But your role is more like a Knight, I guess."
"That's an interesting thought."

"Oh, it's 1pm already?! My shows on at 2pm!!" Hiyori shouted in a panic, grabbing her stuff and rushing out. "Mom, dad, I'm going to set up my show, later!" She rushed out of the door. Ryu laughed nervously as he watched Hiyori run out of the house in a panic. He then saw a card on the floor. Stepping out of his room, Ryu looked at the card.
"Prodigal Magician, Liliana? Huh, a Pale Moon card... I had no clue she played Vanguard. Then again, just about everyone and their grandmother knows about this game. Although, I didn't realise Pale Moon a new strider..." He checked the set number. There was none. "No set number? Is this thing bootleg? It couldn't be, could it? Or is it more exclusive stuff that people like Yza and Ayato had..." He sighed. "Vanguard's dead to me anyways, why do I care... Although, I should return this to her." Ryu headed out aswell.

Rino ran down the streets quickly, running towards somewhere as his head pounded more.
"Damn it.... Damn it... Damn it..." He cursed under his breath, the sky becoming a dark grey.

In a library, Tai and Kane were walking together towards somewhere.
"Hm, Kane, where'd you think the girls are?" Tai asked.
"I don't know Tai, maybe they're on the second floor? All Backlion told us was the sisters were here." Kane replied.

Leaned against a stone wall, Rino panted. "Ugh, why isn't there any specifics on this thing?! It'd make my job ten times easier if I knew where to go...!!"
"The worse the pounding, the nearer they are." Chronofang explained. "If my suspicions are correct, they're at the library."
"Library huh..." He nodded and legged it towards it.

At the library, Tai and Kane continued to walk around to try and find two specific girls. The two girls however, were at a table, studying. Both of them had pink eyes, and long maroon hair tied up in a bow-shaped style, which was secured by a crescent moon shaped Barrett. However, one girl had a shorter dark red side tails. That girl in particular wore a white tank top and a jean coat which went down to her midriff, and black shorts. She had white ankle socks with black sneakers, and was called Ava Kurenai. The other girl had white shirt with the Gold Paladin symbol in the middle, with a tan denim mini jacket which was open, and tan mini shorts to match. She also had brown boots that went up to her knees, and her name was Atsuko Kurenai.
"Hm, I see..." Ava nodded as she wrote down something.
"Ah, those two girls are our opponents." Tai smirked.
"Let's get 'em, brother." Kane stepped forward, as the two twins approached the sisters.

So, that makes all eight users revealed. Backlion, Rino, Shouri, Ayo, Kyle, Ayato, Ava and Atsuko are our Psyqualia suspects.
