In the dead of night, a panda Toyota Sprinter Trueno is driving down Mt. Akina. As it approaches the hairpin, its wheels turn, causing it to start skidding on its side.

Behind the wheel, Yuuto's hands work quickly on the gearbox, and his feet loosen on the pedal, adjusting the car to smoothly drift round the corner.

As he does, a Toyota 86 GT and a Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio come into view. Behind the 86 GT is Kumi, wearing a bored look as she breezes down the road, and behind the Alfa Romeo is Nozomi, who is gritting his teeth and struggling to keep up.

Yuuto is sneaking up on them, but from behind him, a Nissan Skyline GT-R is creeping up on his tail end. Behind the Skyline is Aoyagi, wearing a thin smile of suave confidence.

Yuuto pushes down on the pedal, using the downward force of the mountain to speed up and zip past both Kumi and Nozomi.

Nozomi is surprised, but Kumi snaps out of her casualness, smirks, and gives chase after Yuuto, quickly catching up to him.

Yuuto and Kumi drift in tandem around the next hairpin, bringing two more cars into view. Immediately ahead of them is a Lotus Evija, piloted by Kishou. He drives with an indifferent blank expression, yet executes each move perfectly.

And just beyond all of them, leading the pack, is a Ferrari F8 Spider customised in sangria purple. Behind the wheel of the Ferrari is Saionji, who looks back at the competition with a sadistic smile.

As all these cars race out of view, the title "Cardfight!! Vanguard: Generations" appears over thick fog.

In front of Mt. Akina, Yuuto is leaning against the AE86, staring at the car keys in his hands while the mountain range looms over him. As his attention is stolen away, he looks up, glancing towards the two girls that are running towards him, Kumi and Namie.

Kumi points at Yuuto and begins berating him, while Namie laughs like an ojou-sama in the background to mock him. Yuuto sighs, reluctantly getting into the car, and the other two follow, with Namie in the passenger seat and Kumi in the backseat.

In the distance, Nozomi is smiling as he watches the three of them. Kiri is standing next to him, scratching his head while staring at an empty pack of Seven Star cigarettes in his hands, not realising the last one is already between his lips.

As Yuuto is practicing driving the AE86, images of the other competitors flash by in his mind. From left to right, he sees Saionji, Takamine, Mika, Yoshino, Logan, Katagiri, Naga, Hiryuu, Hase, Kishou, Emon, and Aoyagi.

The still image of Aoyagi moves to the centre, overshadowing everyone else. Yuuto narrows his eyes as his car enters the straight.

Your heart is on fire

Gripping the steering wheel tightly, Yuuto floors it, sending the AE86 blazing down the road.

At the Gunsai Touge race track, Namie in her race queen outfit is preparing to hold up the countdown display board for the race. The other MF Angel Feathers are up on the stands, watching as the racers get ready.

Kumi approaches Namie from behind, surprising her by grabbing her waist and spinning her around to face her. Then, she pushes Namie against the chassis of her car and leans in, causing Namie to turn bright red.

Kumi smirks, getting ready to kiss her. Before their lips can connect though, Yuuto grabs the scruff of Kumi's collar and forcibly drags her away, causing Kumi to start berating Yuuto again while Namie looks disappointed.

Watching their commotion is Vival, who is laughing while holding onto Otsuchi in both hands, causing the puppy to bark. Next to them is Kurosaki, who is leaning over the rails. Her eyes scan over everything before landing on Yuuto.

Show me what you got inside your eyes

Kumi smacks Yuuto and leaves. Yuuto rubs his scarred cheek, before noticing Kurosaki's gaze from above. He tilts his head up, looking up at at her from the race track.

As their eyes cross, a fragrant wind blows between them.

Kurosaki smiles gently, causing Yuuto to come to a standstill in this fleeting moment.

On the Gunsai Touge race track, the Toyota AE86 drifts round the first corner, and flying above it is Claret Sword Dragon.

Noboritsumete peak made (To get the wild style)
Until you climb to the peak

The AE86 accelerates up an incline, causing Claret to shoot up into the air and slash downwards with its sword, cleaving into the Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth" who is flying over a Lamborghini Diablo GT.

JUNGLE FIRE never give up

On a separate part of the race track, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Aston Martin GT8R are driving neck and neck, both on the verge of bumping into the other.

Above those two cars are Ancient Dragon, Spinodriver and Dimensional Robo, Dailiner, who are fighting each other. Spinodriver is clamping down on the fist of Dailiner, while Dailiner is smacking the back of Spinodriver's head with the butt of its blaster.

Further ahead is the Toyota 86 GT, cruising past the lagging Subaru Impreza without breaking a sweat.

Speeding down the straight is the Ferrari F8 Spider, surpassing the Suzuki Swift Sports, the Porsche Cayman, and the Ford Mustang GTD with Dragonic Vanquisher flying ahead it.

On the parallel side of the track, the Lotus Evija flies past the competition, weaving between the Audi R8, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, and Nissan Skyline GT-R while Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree follows it closely from behind.

Ride on now let's go big noise

The Nissan Skyline GT-R roars into life, mimicking the Evija's movements in an attempt to catch up to it. Flying above the Skyline is Blazing Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui "Zanki".

As it closes in on the Evija, from around the corner, the Toyota AE86 drifts in, cutting off the Skyline's path.
