"Hiro, I want you to monitor floor 8. I heard that Kai's partner wandered off somewhere else. I want you to go to his aid."

"Roger that King Asahi." Hiro left the room

"It's all according to keikaku.." Asahi chuckled.

"Great job." Shiro clasped her hands together. "My break is over, anyway, see you later." As she was about to leave the room.

"Why thank you." She smiled before closing the door.

The Chevalier base was filled with almost all of the members.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Jin was sitting down beside Mashiro, who was monitoring the area through his phone.

"Of course, picture it, fake pieces for real ones while we keep the real ones here."

"Along with those scanning necklace and ear pieces you bought..?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Not a big deal, wasn't expensive anyway."

"Those thousands of yen burned just for this event.." Jin trailed off blinking.

"It's alright really." Mashiro sipped a cup of tea. "Macaron?" He gestured at the table filled with snacks.

"..Don't mind if I do." He took a blue coloured one biting into it.

"Have any of you seen Kazane?!" Junji burst in to the Brilliance base camp. The only person in the room was Sun Hee.

"No, I thought she was with you?" She raise a brow.

"She was, until she ran off. Then I got called by Hiroki." He sighed leaning at the door frame.

"Where did she ran off to?!"

"I don't know, she was chasing someone! It was someone with a hoodie."

"Hoodie..." Sun Hee trailed off placing her index finger and thumb on her chin.

Junji looked down collecting his thoughts again.

"Don't tell me... Its her."

Everything started to click, according to Junji at least.

"I mean, Sakayanagi isn't the only one wearing a hoodie around here."

"I know, but she has been a threat for the past couple of weeks. I have a bad feeling."

"Pft, calm down, Jun." Sun Hee laid back on the couch. "Besides, she can't pass through the security. It's tight."

"I'm still going to look for her, You stay here in case she comes back."

"Wait!" Sun Hee stood up from her seat only to see a running Junji. Pacing around the room, she took out her phone and called Kazane.

After a few rounds of searching several floors in the building. Junji sat down on the ground, exhausted from all the jogging. He did thought about going back to the base, until his phone rang.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey, I phoned Kazane earlier and managed to find her whereabouts!"

This gave him slight hope as he stood up from the ground.

"Where is she?"

"The rooftop, there's a silver door that leads to it, I'm heading there right now."

"Gotcha, I'll see you there."

Not even a few minutes later he rushed upstairs to find a door just like how Sun Hee described it to be.

Junji gripped his hand at the door handle twisting it to open. He looked around the gorgeous view of skytree's rooftop, before his eyes met Kazane, who was struggling to stand up on her two feet.

"Kazane!"

"A-ah.. hey!" Kazane laughed bitterly as her response.

"What happened to you?!"

"Remember early when we saw the hoodieman?"

"Yeah..?"

"Turns out, it was Sakayanagi."

"She did all of this..?" Junji muttered in disbelief.

"For someone who look like she hasn't left her room for a whole week. Yeah, I wouldn't believe it at first either."

"KAZANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"

Sun Hee's high pitch screamed pierced into Kazane and Junji's ears, as Sun Hee practically launch herself at her bestfriend.

"Gah! My poor eardrums..." Junji covered his eardrums. "It's Ace Bla-"

"Shut your ikemen ass up for once Junji!" Her lips formed into a pout.

Kazane burst out laughing, completely forgetting the situation she's in currently.

"Can you walk?" Sun Hee's eyes took a glance at her.

"I could barely stand-up."

"Aight, we'll make this quick and easy. Kazane get on my back-"

"Are you sure...?" Kazane trailed off.

"I mean, I can try." Sun Hee bend her knees letting Kazane slowly got onto her back.

"OOOF OKAYOKAYGETOFFOFME-" Sun Hee screamed while laughing. Giggling, Kazane got off her back tumbling as she fell back to the ground.

"Let me try." Junji helped her off the ground before bending his knees as Kazane hopped onto his back.

"Oop.. Sun Hee wasn't wrong, you're quite heavy." Junji muttered making Kazane whack him over the head.

"Oww.." Junji groaned. "Why..."

"yOU DESERVED THAT!" She scoffed.

After the trio arrived at their base, Junji set Kazane down on the couch.

"Here." Sun Hee hand over a tissue to Kazane as she sat beside her.

"Thanks." Kazane took the tissue and put it against her bleeding lips.

"What happened back there?"

"I chased Sakayanagi to the rooftop, we cardfighted, embarrassingly she won-"

"Hold on, what about the chess piece?"

Kazane's eyes widened feeling her jeans pockets as she sigh in relief.

"They're both still there."

"She didn't take one?" Junji raised a brow.

"I had two on me since the start." She took out the two pieces.

"...This doesn't make any sense.." Sun Hee muttered. "What did she even earned by fighting you?"

"I guess, nothing really?" She shrugged. "Sakayanagi.. what exactly are you planning.."

"Event finish, would every faction please gather in the hall. I repeat, event finish. Would every faction please gather in the hall. Thank you." The A.I voice's echoed the room through the speakers.

"Let's go, I can't risk getting detention today." Sun Hee stood up.

"Dance practice?" Junji asked helping Kazane up from her seat.

"Nope, my boba cravings are too strong."

"Can you walk now?" He looked at Kazane who's able to take a few steps forward.

Everyone soon gathered in rendezvous point. Noise of students talking filled the hall, a lot of them discussed their encounters while others discussed about other topics.

Junji, Kazane and Sun Hee arrived just in time before the door closes as they sat down side by side.

"Quiet down." The A.I's voice silenced the most of the students in the room. "We'll begin showing the results and most wins in one team."

The screen in the hall turned on, the results shows:

Salvation: 4 pieces
Venom: 2 pieces
Dystopia: 4 pieces
Brilliance: 2 pieces
Chevalier: 3 pieces

"Congratulations Dystopia has the most wins!"

Dystopians only clapped their hands by a short amount of time, they didn't burst out or started screaming. While Venom students started to whisper to each other, giving them dirty looks.

"Thank you for those who participated in the event. You are all dismissed." With that, a lot of students started to leave the hall.

"It's scary really." Kazane muttered.

"This event?"

"This gambling system in general, it's really taking a huge toll on me. Ever since being the Ace, there's so many shit I have to worry about."

Sun Hee frowned as she patted her back.

"Hey, if you ever need any help, Junji and I are always here for you."

"Thanks.. really appreciate it." Kazane's lips curved up slightly. "We better go sort of out the chess pieces after this."

"Aww.. b-but boba.."

"CAN YOU GO ONE DAY WITHOUT BOBA-" Junji's eyes darkned.

"Everyone's 60% water while I'm 60% milk tea, fight me."

Sakayanagi leaned against the bathroom wall as she took a bite of her doughnut. As the door slammed open.

"Quite the entrance. You sure like to get all the attention." Sakayanagi glanced at the person entering. "Did you bring the goods, Diva?"

"Yeah yeah whatever." The person was wearing a black vest-short combination and a matching colored mask that covers her face except her mouth. She took out the Rook chess piece and threw it at her.

"Oh goodie." Sakayanagi cackled as she catch the piece with her right hand and shove it into her hoodie pocket. "You didn't fought those Chevaliers, did you?"

"Stayed away from."

"Good, Tsurugi told me they're playing dirty."

"It was weird, I only saw a couple of those losers."

"Said losers don't even have any pieces."

"No wonder, you told everyone to stay away."

"It doesn't matter anymore. Event's over so it's irrelevant."

"Though, has 404 programmed the old pieces?" Diva took out a galaxy coloured piece and waved it.

"He already did, if he didn't why would I even let you sabotage the event?" Sakayanagi crossed her arms. Sighing she patted Diva's shoulder. "Whatever, you know the next step."

"Oho~" Diva cackled under her breath. "It's going to be a blast."
