It was a quarter past two on Wednesday morning when Luna sat beside Ryan in the waiting area at LHR airport. Several other passengers were also waiting for their flights, as none had been canceled. All flights were operating on their regular schedules, and the hijacking incident had not disrupted flight timetables.

But the other passengers were busy gossiping about the latest breaking news, which was being repeatedly shown on the large TV screen.

                   Breaking News:

Three videos went viral, shining a light on the darkness within the entire government system.

As we all know, last week the special forces of the London Crime Branch caught the private jet AeroElite red-handed while exporting gold bars to the Irish Isles, along with its owner, Mr. Henry Lopez.

During the investigation, Mr. Lopez claimed that the accusations against him were part of a conspiracy and that he knew nothing about the matter. He was planning a trip to the island for a change of scenery, as his doctor had recommended it for his physical and mental well-being, supported by his medical reports. However, he admitted that his own negligence had allowed someone to frame him in a false case to tarnish his reputation, and he was prepared to accept any legal consequences.

As a result, Mr. Lopez was granted bail after paying a penalty of £5 million to the government and signing a written bond in which he agreed to be more cautious about such matters in the future.

But the entire police department, airport authority, the Greater London Assembly (GLA), and the citizens of London were stunned when a woman named Evelyn Taylor hijacked the AeroElite at ten o'clock last Monday night, with the most capable pilot from LHR airport, to fly to NYC. She displayed her bravado—or perhaps mocked the government—by submitting a written statement to the airport authority, claiming she would return within seventy-two hours and that she had merely borrowed the jet to save a few lives.

The airport authority did their best to suppress the news to keep it from the public. However, the owner of AeroElite informed both the police department and the media by calling them around five on Tuesday morning. He raised several questions: If something bad happened during the journey or in NYC, who would be held responsible? Would the government consider him a criminal just because he owned the jet, despite his ignorance of the situation?

As a consequence, when news channels, including ours, began broadcasting the recorded conversation with Mr. Lopez as breaking news, Londoners grew furious, questioning the city's security system. A strike quickly formed in front of the Greater London Assembly (GLA), demanding the immediate arrest of Mrs. Evelyn Taylor.

Without wasting a second and in an effort to regain the trust of Londoners, the GLA issued an order to the disciplinary committee of the airport authority, led by Mr. Benny Merchant, a GLA member, to take legal action within twenty-four hours against the unknown woman and to enforce strict measures against those who aided her in hijacking the jet on the airport grounds.

At two in the afternoon on Tuesday, the committee sentenced Mrs. Evelyn Taylor to eighteen months in prison and seven years of travel restrictions, to take effect upon her return to London. The strikers demanded that the punishment be carried out immediately, promising to withdraw their strike once it was executed.

But the entire situation took a complete turn in favor of Mrs. Evelyn Taylor when her true identity was revealed.

A few hours earlier, the GIN news channel uploaded three videos, from which we learned that Mrs. Evelyn Taylor is the leader of the 'Sentinels Team,' a covert group that has been working with the London Crime Branch for several years to solve critical cases, particularly murder and bombings. The most shocking revelation was that it was the 'Sentinels Team,' under Mrs. Evelyn Taylor's leadership, that apprehended AeroElite the previous week.

In the first video, we see an old conversation between Mrs. Evelyn Taylor and several members of the GLA, including Benny Merchant. They requested her to work as an undercover agent for the London Crime Branch to ensure that innocent people receive justice, as justice is sometimes buried under corruption and the influence of powerful people in society. The video clearly shows Mr. Merchant pleading with her to work secretly with them to address issues within the police department.

In the second video, we witness the breathtaking moments of Mrs. Evelyn Taylor leading the effort to catch AeroElite red-handed.

And the final video exposed the darkest aspects of our government and their dirty tactics against innocent people, including their most talented officers like Mrs. Taylor.

The video from last Friday night shows Mr. Benny Merchant drinking and dancing with other members of the disciplinary committee and some girls. Mr. Henry Lopez was also present, pouring alcohol into their glasses. The most shocking part was that everyone, including the committee members, was half-naked. They were celebrating the fact that they had all been spared from getting caught red-handed while illegally exporting gold bars. They discussed their next plan: how to trap the 'Sentinels Team' and their leader to continue their illicit activities without difficulty. In his drunken state, Benny Merchant vowed that if he ever discovered any weakness in Mrs. Taylor, he would seize the opportunity to imprison her for a long time, hoping that her 'Sentinels Team' would collapse like a house of cards without their leader.

After watching those videos, the strikers began to cheer for Mrs. Taylor for her contributions to society and started protesting against the corrupt government, along with all the members of the disciplinary committee, including Benny Merchant and Mr. Henry Lopez.

The strikers demanded that the government withdraw all punishments against Mrs. Evelyn Taylor so that she and her team can serve justice to society effectively. They also demanded that the culprits, including Mr. Benny Merchant and Mr. Henry Lopez, be imprisoned for a long time within the next twenty-four hours. If their demands were not met, they vowed to besiege the culprits homes and initiate a larger movement for public interest.

The strikers have adopted a new slogan for Evelyn Taylor: 'Stand Up for Evelyn's Sentinels!' replacing the old slogan, 'Public First, Thieves Last!'

Additionally, they have created a new slogan targeting the real culprits who are walking freely in society behind fake masks: 'Catch Culprits, Secure Public!'

Now, we must wait a few more hours to see what decision the GLA will make regarding Mr. Benny Merchant and Mr. Henry Lopez, as well as all the members of the disciplinary committee who have engaged in corrupt practices for years, exploiting innocent citizens and talented officers for their own benefit. We can only hope that with time, a new dawn will bring a well-deserved recognition for Mrs. Evelyn Taylor, acknowledging her hard work, talent, and sacrifices over the years while working behind the scenes in our corrupt police department.

A proud smile spread across Luna's face as she watched the repeated news, reflecting a mix of relief, happiness about her mother's safety, and an indescribable excitement to see the real culprits behind bars. Her emotions bloomed like new flowers on cherry blossom trees.

"So, everything is working out for our real chief, and all the credit goes to our so-called fake chief, Mr. Simon Parker, who ordered the release of two more videos. This move ensured that GLA had no option but to withdraw all the punishment against our leader to protect its image." Ryan said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Yeah, but I didn’t expect Mr. Parker would release the other two videos. We had planned to use them in the future if GIN ever got into trouble for helping us," Luna said, her tone reflecting surprise. She looked at him with excitement in her eyes, eager to hear his reply.

"Maybe he didn't want to lose 'Chamelyn' and 'Preety Savage' at any cost. I think he took your fake warning about working as an independent team seriously," Ron said, placing his right palm over his mouth to suppress a laugh.

In response, Luna winked at him and, with an evil smirk on her lips, said, "Mom was right. I must have become a great actress if I chose acting as a profession."

"I hundred percent agree with her," he said, winking back at her.

All of a sudden, Luna's expression turned dark, and she asked him with a confused tone, "But I wonder, why did everyone hide the news about my mom's eighteen months in prison sentence from me?"

"I think it would be better if we ask Mr. Parker about it, rather than speculating about the intentions behind the half-truths revealed to us," Ryan suggested, his expression soft yet serious.

Luna nodded in agreement, letting out a deep sigh of confusion as she glanced at the clock, which read two-thirty in the morning on Wednesday.

At that moment, they heard an announcement, which, along with other passengers, included information about the flight arrival. They also saw the details displayed on the electronic flight information displays (FIDs).

Attention, passengers and guests:

We are pleased to announce the arrival of AeroElite jet AE1234 at Liberty Hill Runway Airport. The aircraft has just landed and is currently at the designated gate in the waiting area. Please proceed to Gate 14B for further assistance and boarding information.

Thank you for your attention.

Luna and Ryan immediately got up from their seats and began running toward their destination, where their men were already present to ensure security.

Author's Note:-

Although in one of the previous chapters, I accidentally used the real organization's name as GLA =Greater London Assembly, and that's why I'm forced to use it again here, as I can't change it now since I've already submitted my book to the Wattys. However, after the Wattys, I'll change it to GLA = Greater London Administration.

In this book, I've used imaginary names like LHR = Liberty Hill Runway Airport instead of London Heathrow Airport. In the future, I'll use JFK = Jade Falls Key Airport instead of John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Hey, SkyLovers! Let me know how you liked the chapter and if you liked the imaginary names. I'll be eagerly waiting for your lovely comments.
