"Guys!" Kim yelled and hugged Nolan and I. The music boomed all over the place. People whooped moving their bodies to the beat.

"Whoa! You are rocking that dress, babe," I said watching her spin.

"Courtesy of Victoria."

"Merci, Kim." Victoria placed her arm across Kim's shoulders. "Nice dress, Anna. Wait, did you tell Nolan not to wear suit today or something?"

I laughed. Of course, I did. Nolan cleared his throat clearly uncomfortable with the way we stared at him. Instead of his usual suit or shirt and trousers get up, I made him wear a pirate costume. Trust me when I say he is rocking that eye patch.

"Whoa! What the? Nolan is that you?" Travis asked. Darell and Drake in tow seemed amused.

"That's it. I'm going to change." He held in hands and headed for the exit.

Darell blocked him and turned him to face us.

"You are my new favorite person." Drake said still checking Nolan out. "Like how did you make him wear that? The suits were really kind of boring."

"Coin toss which she rigged." Nolan yelled

"I did not. Just accept it that I'm a champion."

"I am so going to post this." Darell took pictures of Nolan who grimaced. I jumped in and kissed his cheek.

"Smile for the camera. Grandma Penelope asked me to send her lots of pictures."

"Someone kill me now." He rubbed his face but a smile tugged at his lips.

"Hey guys, the bathroom line went on like forever." Brie said brushing her hair from her face. She wasn't even in a dress, she wore a pant suit and had her hair in a bun. "Nolan, wow. Like wow. See, Vickie, I don't have to wear a dress to prom. Even Nolan wore a costume."

"Which Anna made me wear." Nolan pointed out.

"Are we going to stand here and talk nonsense or are we going to shake some body?" Travis asked dancing.

"If you beat Travis in a dance contest, I will let you pick my clothes from now on", Nolan said and put his arm around my waist.

"Dude, is your closet worth it?" Drake asked amused. Nolan answered with a smirk

"Our friend is a goner." Darell sighed shaking his head

"Deal," I said.

"But-" Nolan started again.

"Knew there was a catch. There is always a catch." Kim said.

"-If you lose, you owe me a kiss." he looked smug.

"Huh?" Brie and Travis went jaw slacked.

"Aww," Vickie pouted, "you better lose, Anna."

"You can't take it back since you said 'deal'," he said.

I shrugged. "It's just a kiss."

Our friends whooped around us.

"I forgot to add-" He started to say.

"No more, Nolan. No more." I eased away from him and made my way to the center of the room. "Travis, what are you waiting for? Are you scared?"

"I just don't wanna hurt your feelings Princess but I'm the Lord of Dancing."

"We shall see." I said and the center stage cleared. Everyone stood back watching with growing excitement.

"This got to be good." Brie yelled.

"Dance Battle!" Vickie whooped and everyone cheered.

"DJ, music." Travis yelled.

Demi Lovato's Confident started to play. Travis glided across the floor moving his body to the beat. He break danced and flipped. He pointed at me when he was done.

I smirked and grooved. My legs tapped to the beat and my hands flowed with the rest of my body. Flipping my hair from side to side, I made a gun with my hands and shot. Travis seemed surprised but he started to do the robot dance.

After a while, it was pretty obvious I was going to win, I decided to finish it off with a twirl. The doors to the hall burst  open and what I saw made me stop dancing. Stunned, my jaw dropped. Travis took that as his chance and won.

"Told you I'm the King of- Whoa!" Travis had followed my gaze at the couple standing at the door.

People cheered but it went down fast as everyone looked at the door.

On cue, Wildest Dreams by Taylor swift began to play. Henry had his arms around Aubrey.  They both looked as though they stepped out of a cover of Barbie and Ken fairytale. Blond curls fell in waves over her shoulders. Her gold dress fell in waves, swishing around her legs. The sequins on her belt embedded in the dress and overlapping like fish scales, scintillated their reflections across the room.

Henry wore a black tuxedo, worn over a white shirt, a gold tie, handkerchief and vest. They both had a smile on their faces.

"They are fashionably late." Vickie said eyeing Aubrey's dress.

"That dress is something." Kim said. "I feel overdressed." She glanced down at her one shoulder red knee-length dress.

"Are you kidding? You look great. I'm regretting wearing pant suit."Brie said and raised her hand when Vickie wanted to reply her. "Don't tell me, 'I told you so.'"

"I told you so." Vickie smirked and Brie glared at her.

Ignoring my friends, I stared at the two people I would never in a million put together. Why is he with her? Why is he holding her like that? Why is she wearing that awesome dress?

The 'fashionably late couple' made their way to us. I glanced at Nolan and  immediately regretted it. He seemed so transfixed by her, it was irritating.

"You guys look great." I fixed a smile on my face while the people I call friends just had a stare down with Henry and Aubrey.

"Thank you." Aubrey said without an hint of sarcasm or the glares she specially reserved for me. Taken aback, I blinked several times to make sure it wasn't a dream.

"Are you guys okay?" Henry asked everyone though his eyes were on me.

"Dude, you two just waltzed in looking like bang bang. What did you expect?" Darrell asked waving his hands about.

"Well, let's put those shoes to good use and let's dance." Drake whooped and moved his body to the beat. Soon everyone was dancing, gyrating to the beat. I couldn't find it in myself to dance so I hung back at the snacks table.

I shouldn't be jealous. I told him it was over between us. Seeing his face after a week brought relief and worry. It annoys me that I'm annoyed.

I sipped the drink from my cup and watched the people dancing. The song ended and Lover by Taylor Swift ft Shawn Mendes started to play. Aubrey went to Nolan, they exchanged some words and began to dance slowly in each other arms to the song.

I watched them glide across the floor. Jealousy once again reared its head. I made for the exit to the bathroom. I stayed for a while before coming out again.

"Anna!" Aubrey called out as I felt the door close behind me.

"Hi, Aubrey." I answered wary.

"Can I talk to you for some minutes? It won't take long." She still didn't have her usual full on glare.

Stunned, I slowly nod.

"First of all, I want to apologize for the way I treated you. That was mean and immature of me." She said.

Wait, come again?

She must have noticed my expression because she laughed.

"I really am sorry. I also wanted to give you an advice. I want you to be careful and not trust anyone." She held my arm and whispered. "I know you might not believe because I treat you differently now."

"You think? I can't forget the things you've done to me. Like the pin you put in my gym Nikes?"

She winced. "I'm really sorry about that. I wish I hadn't done that. I want to help you now, I promise." She pulled out an envelope from her purse. "Here, look at this."

I opened the envelope and pull out the papers inside. Reading the heading, I felt slapped. It was the divorce letter.

"Nolan showed that to me a week after you guys got married. He said you knew about the deadline after two years, enough to make him King and all."

"Yes I'm aware." I bobbed my head.

"He gave it to me again when he traveled to Netherlands. When he said he liked you, he was lying. It was just a fiasco to keep the gossips of his back and protect his image. He still plans to divorce you." She pointed to a line in the paper. "Here, see he wrote his name," she pointed below, "see here, he hasn't signed either. When the two years is up, he is going to sign it."

"I don't care." I mumbled.

"No, you care. You care a lot because you are starting to like him. It's pretty obvious." She folded her arms across her chest and leaned against the wall. "Don't fall too far for him. It will end in heart break. I know because I've been there. Nolan really did break up with me that day. It's really hard loving someone who doesn't love you back."

"Thanks for this." I clenched the paper almost wrinkling it. I folded it and put it back in the envelope.

"Henry likes you. He is waiting for you." She said and hugged me. "I'm really sorry it had to take getting over Nolan for me to be nice with you. We could have been good friends."

"Yes, we could have." I whispered and tears fell. I hurriedly wiped at it before pulling out the hug.

"Whoa, whoa. What just happened? Anna and Aubrey hugging? Is it the apocalypse? Am I dead?" Drake asked staring wide eyed as he approached.

"Well, we decided to have a heart to heart and it worked." Aubrey griined and interlaced her fingers with mine.

Drake whipped out his phone and tapped away. "Every one has got to hear this."

I rolled my eyes. "We will see you in there."

We walked back into the party smiling. We stopped in our tracks when Nolan and Henry stepped in front of us. My smile fell and the envelope grew heavy in my hand. Looking between the two men in my heart, the one who can love me and the one who can provide for me make my heart tremble.

I blink back tears and hugged Aubrey, "I'm sorry guys. I don't feel too well. I'm going to go home. Could you greet everyone bye for me? Thanks." And with that I turned away from Nolan's shocked expression and Henry's amused smile.

I got into the black limo and watched the school blink away from sight. I didn't want to believe what Aubrey told me. I wanted to hold on to what I thought of each male and decide myself. I won't waver anymore.

I am going to choose and this time I will choose right.
