Danny hated to leave Jazz ,but he had to patrol. "You sure you're okay?" Jazz was laying in bed next to Bearbert. "Yes Danny, I'm completely fine. Mom and dad will be home soon if I need anything." Danny had flown her to bed as she couldn't really stand yet. "Alrighty better go meet Sam and Tuck." He gave Jazz a quick hug before he left. "Be safe!" Jazz called as he phased out of the room as Phantom. Danny rolled his eyes but smiled thinking about his overproctive, but loving sister. 

     As Danny flew through the sky, his ghostly tail trailing behind him, he tried to leave his worries behind. "Hakuna Matata. If Only." The teen sighed. Right as he spotted Sam in her place for patrol his head started throbbing. "What's going on?" Danny was starting to get worried. The pain intensified. It was like a jackknife piercing through his skull. "Gahhh!" His body dropped as he could no longer concentrate on flying. "Dannny!" Sam screamed as her best friend and yes, crush, spiraled down for a hard crash landing. 

           "Ughh." Danny moaned from the impact. It was a good thing he was so resilient in ghost form. "Danny what happened? Are you okay?" Sam ran to his side to see the damage. "I'm fine Sam. I just had a,ugh,little headache." The fact that Danny was brushing it off angered Sam. "That was no 'little' headache Danny! It must have been bad if it made you fall like that." She then noticed the neon green cuts and scratches and attended to them in silence. "Sam it's fine, they'll be healed in a few,agh, minutes." Sam's brows furrowed. "It's not fine Danny, don't you get it! I hate when you do this! Just say your hurt!" Danny sighed. As Sam continued to patch him up he couldn't help but wonder her thoughts about what had happened between them. "Sam I've been wanting to know..." They were cut off by a sound from the bushes. "Someone's here." Danny told Sam. The two prepared for the worst.

        Valerie didn't understand at all. The whole situation was surreal. What was Phantom doing with Manson? "This is to weird. What's she doing with that ghost?" The huntress whispered. She had been looking to find Vlad so she could have her revenge. He had no idea she knew. It was a coincidence she happened to see the ghost boy fall from the sky to where the goth stood. It got even more strange when she saw the girl call the ghost boy Danny. She stood there in shock trying to piece it all together. "Come on girl, you can figure it out." Valerie told herself. Some puzzle piece was missing. It was then Valerie realized that the ghost had heard her.

       Danny knew someone was hiding in the bushes. As he silently floated over an out of breath Tucker came at last. "Hey! Sorry I'm late! What'd I miss?" Danny glared at his friend. "Tucker!" A rustling was heard from the bushes. "Come out. I'm not going to hurt you." Danny called. "Who said you could?" Came the red huntresses' snarky reply. "Oh, it's you. I thought it was a ghost." Danny sighed relieved. "Look ghost, we had a truce, but that doesn't mean were friends. I still don't trust you. How do you three know each other?" Valerie demanded an answer glancing between Sam and Danny. Danny stayed silent. "If you don't tell me I'll..." "Fine, I'll tell you." Danny spoke, eyes closed, and voice wavering. Could he trust her? "Valerie, " Danny started. "How do you know my name ghost?" Valerie questioned suspiciously. "I know more about you than you think I do, and you know more about me than you think you do. I'm...." 

Just then a very familiar voice laughed. "How sweet! The boy was about to share his secret to one of his greatest enemies! You really need to rethink your judgement ha!" Desiree appeared seemingly out of the air. "Desiree? How did you get here?" Danny knew her strength came from wishes. "I have a bargain ghost boy. He needs you to be distracted." Danny became even more confused. "Distracted from what?" The genie ghost smirked. "Well I can't tell you that can I? He and I made a vow of secrecy." The white haired teen's hand lighted with energy. Tucker and Sam stood behind him armed with the Fenton wristray and bazooka. Valerie stood to the sidelines unwilling to get in a ghost fight. "You two!" She yelled to the goth and techno geek. "Get out of there! What are you doing?" The pair ignored her. The three of them were in this together, whatever the outcome.

         Danny flew at full speed to Desiree. "You know what I wish?" Danny shouted his hair whipping in the wind and his ghostly tail a blur. Desiree then waved her hand. Danny was going to continue his quip, but quickly realized he couldn't say anything. This made Danny more furious so he put even more power into his ecto punch. Desiree went to the ground while Danny stood eyes blazing with fury. The genie ghost once again disappeared and reappeared in a mist."I am sorry but my partner said to do anything possible to get you out of the way. Can't have you making any wishes now can we?" Her voice dripped with sarcasm. "Oh and you can't use that ghostly wail either, Oops." Danny smirked. 'That's not all I got, though that power and the hypnotizing power would have been nice. Gah! Why didn't I think of that before!' He let out a beam of ice and hit the Arabic ghost. 'Ah if only I could quip right now, something like that wasn't very ICE of you!' Danny laughed to himself. Desiree looked annoyed. "How about this for a laugh? I'll make your greatest fear come true!" Danny froze in place his face a look of pure horror. 'If it's what I think it is...'

      "Danny!" Sam and Tucker shouted from below. Run! Danny mouthed to the pair. He couldn't let them get hurt. Especially not by his own hands. He would kill himself before he let that happen. He tried to escape Desiree's magic, but to no avail. The green beams encircled him and took over his mind. Danny screamed as his voice had been returned, but the change was not a good one. He tried to fight it, but he couldn't and green eyes became red. 

AN: Guys I am sooooo Sorry! Please forgive me! I haven't been able to update in a while. I just finished with my senior year and tests and am preparing for graduation. Also my baby sister was just born! It's been a chaotic time, but I had to get this finished for you guys. I hope it is not to rushed.
