This is an AU where after the first book (Called Protected) Soundwave turns away from crime and disappears to a different city.

There was nothing left for him now. His best friend was dead, killed by his own insanity. He stared at the flames as they rose to the sky. He was at a safe distance and no one would be there anytime soon. He glanced over his shoulder towards Kaon and watched the smoke. The explosion. He caused it.

Why did he suddenly feel so guilty for what he did? A man died trying to save the city. Why did he care? Was it the look on his brothers faces? He had watched Shockwave get taken away, and Heatwaves expression. Betrayal.

Why did he do it? What was the point of all this? He stared at his hands and shook his head. He looked back up at his burning home. He turned and headed out of the city.

There was nothing left for him here now. He was a dead man...

As the years passed he stayed in hiding. He turned to something he was naturally gifted with. Music. He became well known but had changed his name and looks. He didn't realize he was becoming so famous. He just loved the music.

He never spoke to anyone except his manager. Hence why his stage name became the Silent Musician. He would appear to preform, then vanish right after he was done. He didn't need the attention but seemed to get it anyway.

It as almost been nine years since that night. The night he decided to become someone else.

You are walking through the beautiful park when you see him sitting under a tree. You've seen his performances and knew his face, but had only seen him at a distance. He's alone and staring at nothing in particular. Writing a song, but the page is blank.
