~Astrid's P.O.V~

As spring break had passed, I'm currently at my locker staring in there. About that day that I felt affection to another person, it felt so weird that I'm not my inner self anymore. And surprisingly I think I'm losing my touch of killing. I must find another victim soon.

I got up furiously and storm out in the backyard and scream in frustration, luckily my mother wasn't home to see that. I stare at the grass not making sudden movements as I'm still thinking about a new plan, I didn't actually expect a Hiccup to be so you know.

But....if I get rid of Hiccup quickly, that this affection will end fast.

I squeeze my eyes in frustration and can't think straight now, I gotta get in character of not losing my temper for over a stupid boy that I cannot kill so easily. I guess Hiccup is just so persuasive, and I fall for it. Now I'm that type of girl that wants to be hold.

I grab my textbook and slam my locker as I locked it, I furiously walk down the hallway and felt so grumpy all of sudden. And this feeling is tearing me apart.

During class lecture I look at the window as it is quite nice out, the sun is shiny, birds are chirping, teachers are teaching and see the football team practicing from the distance below the school which is in on third floor. Maybe I should get rid of one of the jocks for a change or playfully persuade them, obliviously jocks are stupid enough to fall for a girl like me.

Actually he football team are stupid to fall for any girl actually, especially the popular ones.

I clench my fist as I'm still tempting for another victim but I'm in class this is so hard to control my temptation. I look back at the teacher as she continues bragging about the lecture and I nearly lost my mind now.

~Hiccup's P.O.V~

During class we have a half hour of studying as the teacher has done his lesson today but consider a studying before bell rings. I sat with Jack and Fishlegs normally I would work on my course but I decided to chat with them, teacher won't mind at all.

"And that's basically what I did during spring break"Fishlegs says, as he brags about his small vacation.

"Cool, I guess"Snot doesn't feel amused of Fishlegs little adventure.

"sounds nice"I complement.

"Why thank you"Fishlegs nod.

"You know something has been on my mind lately"Jack rubs his chin as he thinks.

I raise my brow"what is it?".

He looks at me"I have notice that you're hanging out with the new girl recently".

My eyes went wide"what?! No! I would never hang out with a girl just because I ain't one of those type of guys".

Jack frowns, and fold his arms to his chest"admit it, you like Astrid don't you Hiccup?"He point his finger at me.

I rolled my eyes"yes, Astrid and I, are just friends! Simply Friends, no any relationship, just plain friends".

Snot chuckles"oh really? Eventually you'll make a move".

"Nope"I retort, as I become a little frustrated. Everyone these guys pick on me for not having a girl. I'm only 17.

During Class Period

"Look guys I can't say if I wanna ask her out it's been like what? A month to know her"I shrug, as my friends wanting me to ask her out.

"It's really simple, just ask that's it! C'mon Hiccup!"Snotlout exclaims, as he's convincing me.

"Don't listen to Snot! Wait for a few months and let it do its thing"Fishlegs suggests.

"Do it's Thing, right"I narrow my eyes and stare outside the window.

"What if a random jerk takes her"Snot exclaims, as I look back at him.

"She told me, she knows self defence"I protest.

"But still! Ask her out. Beside, before someone else takes you or some random chick decides to take you form her"Snot coughs, as I still worry about my little stalker still amongst my life.

I sigh heavily and lend back on my chair, arms fold as I thought about it before the bell rings.

As the last bell rang I walk out of the school and hopefully find Astrid out here, I didn't even see her all day. But I guess it happens when you're too BUSY all the time.

I then start walking slowly down the street side as I look back at the school front seeing bunch of students leaving and going in their cars.

I frown then start walking back home, until a voice interrupt my tracks.

"Hey Hiccup!"Astrid shouted my name as I spot her running towards me.

I couldn't help but smile at her"Hey Astrid!".

"What's up? I haven't seen you all day"Astrid chuckles, as we began to walk home.

"Same, I was looking for you"I shrug, feeling kinda nervous asking her.

Even thought we just met, stuff happens.

"Really? I'm curious. What you wanted to ask me?"She look at me while walking down the sidewalk.

I stop my tracks, turn to face her and I sigh heavily, feeling a little agitated that I'm asking a girl out, it's usually girls asked me out.

I gulp"Astrid would you......would you go.....on a.....date with me....this Friday?"I stop stammering and hopefully she'll say something positive.

she gave me a huge smile and slightly blush"oh Hiccup.....yes!".

She quickly hug me and whisper"pick me up at 7".

I lost of words and quickly smile back"okay".

"See you around Haddock!"She lets go and walk away.

"Phewwww, that was easy and fast"I chuckle, walking back home.

It was clingy that I asked Astrid on a date this Friday which it appears I gotta make reservations or go movies like an average date.

FRIDAY

I couldn't help but to feel proud that this doesn't happen often as I ask a girl out. But I know Astrid is different than the other girls I met, I had hope to find the right One. Depends that is.

While I was looking through my closet I did bought a suit awhile back, but it's just a date so why not just wear a vest, slacks and shirt, nothing to fancy about it. It's like going on a date at McDonald's.

I quickly cleaned my face and put on my suit, as I look at myself on the mirror, it has been awhile when I went on a Date though. I quietly walk downstairs as my parents are having a conversation.

"See you guys later! I'm heading out!"I called out, putting on my shoes and hopefully won't get caught for me wearing fancy clothes.

"Be home around 12ish!"Dad shouts.

"Yes Dad!"I call back.

I quickly jog out and knowing me this restaurant is just several streets away so why walk instead of taking my car.

It was a lovely night and I hope this date will turn out great, compare to the others I went.

As I arrive at the restaurant I already made reservations.

"Good evening Sir, table for one?"He asked, politely.

"For two, I've made reservations. Just waiting on my date"I said, standing next to the entrance.

"Alrighty sir"he says, as he resume another customer coming in.

As I stand outside hoping she'll show up, until suddenly a girl walk towards me. And it was Astrid! In a dress!

My mouth drop open, looking at Astrid in a dress is so damn beautiful.

"How do I look"She said, doing a quick spin around.

I hardly blush"y-y-y-you look, awesome".

She giggles"thanks, it was worth it to get it".

We then enter the restaurant and found our table as we made reservations earlier, I know this is clingy but First Dates are literally at the movies.

Let's hope everything goes well

Author's Note: back in college and I got extremely busy, so I'm gonna try to finish this story before Christmas. Been a month without updating! 😆😆😆
