This happened a few weeks ago.

So this year is the first year our school has a winter guard team. You'd think they would bring up awareness of this new sports team, or at the very least ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE EXIST. Oh guess what? THEY DON'T. And it's infuriating.

So there was a pep rally about the cheerleaders who won state championships. *sarcastic celebration* woohoo. So at the pep rally they were talking about the sports teams- "come out this Thursday to watch girls basketball, boys soccer, other sports games, etc..." and they said "and our newest sport, our winter guard, has a competition on Saturday." And since it was t h e f i r s t t i m e o u r s c h o o l e v e r m e n t i o n e d u s we cheered and clapped, you get the idea. I was really happy about that until this: (after school was over)

Seeing it like this absolutely ticked me off.
