Dedicated to my bestie nurulashika

INREDIENTS:

Raw mango- 1 chopped
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 pinch
Salt- to taste

To roast and grind

Fenugreek seeds- 1/2 tsp
Red chillies- 2

To temper

Oil- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Hing- 1/4 tsp

STEPS:

STEP 1: Wash the raw mango, chop it into bit sized pieces and set aside.

STEP 2: In a pan, fry roast fenugreek seeds and red chillies till it becomes golden brown. Transfer it to a mixer.

STEP 3: Grind it to a semi coarse powder and set aside.

STEP 4: In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Then add roasted powder, red chilli powder, hing and turmeric powder.

STEP 5: Give a quick mix and switch off the stove.

STEP 6: Transfer this to the raw chopped mango pieces, add salt and mix well. Let it to rest.

STEP 7: Serve it with curd rice.

                  COOKING TIPS

To remove seeds from lemon, just roll it on hard surface applying a little pressure from your palm. Now cut it, you will find all seeds coming out easily.
