Sasuke slammed his fist down into a nearby boulder, instantly crushing it. Tsunade stood behind him with a grin on her face. Sakura just looked at Sasuke like he was her god: handsome, strong, and extremely talented.

"Excellent work Sasuke. You've made tremendous progress these past few months." Tsunade praised him.

Praise meant nothing to Sasuke. What's the use in such useless words? Being called 'talented' and 'a prodigy in the making' isn't going to make him any stronger, not when Sarah is out there in the world right now running havoc.

These last few months have been extremely awful. Between learning from Kakashi and improving upon his medical ninjutsu and chakra control with Tsunade, Sasuke barely had enough time to just sit down and think. Perhaps its better that way. Keeping himself busy is the only way he can distract himself from everything.

"You did great today Sasuke!" Sakura said as she walked beside him. Training had ended for today, so he doesn't feel obligated to talk to her.

Sakura Haruno, Tsunade's new student. Chakra-control specialist and a genjutsu user, her chakra types are earth and water release. She was intelligent, kind of good looking, but unfortunately, she was one of his many fangirls.

Thankfully Tsunade always manages to keep her on track, otherwise Sasuke would've done lost his mind by now. He can't tolerate people who only see him as 'The Last Uchiha'. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Chouji never treated him as such. Hell, Sarah always kept his ass in line when they were Genin.

     Sarah...

He missed her dearly. Soon he'll be strong enough to bring her back to the village.

Did Naruto know she defected? Jiraiya probably told him, considering he and Tsunade stay in touch. If not, then he's probably opened up a bingo book by now and noticed her entry.

Tsunade sure was pissed when she found out about her defection. Sasuke and Shizune spent weeks calming her down. That was not a very pleasant experience.

     "Hn," Sasuke responded.

"I was wondering if you would be up to grabbing some food at Yaniaku Q?" Sakura asked him, "You don't have to of course! I was just asking..."

Her face turned red. She was still just as shy as she was back in the academy, Sasuke noted.

Kakashi always did tell him to be nice to his comrades. Perhaps he should give her a chance.

"Sure. Just...don't squeal in my ears. They're still aching from earlier," Sasuke responded as he picked up his bags.

"Alright," Sakura untied her hair, "I'll meet you there at three?"

"Sure." Sasuke walked off. At least his socialization skills have improved...somewhat.

He still had a long way to go. Perhaps a change of scenery and a break from training will do him some good.

...

Naruto stared at the open bingo book in his hands. He couldn't believe this; Sarah-chan had defected from the village...

...
Sarah
Rank: B-Class
Affiliation: N/A
Wanted for treason
Bring back dead or alive
Bounty: 30,034,419.445 ryo
...

Did Jiraiya know about this the whole time? Was that why he was a little shaken these past couple of days?

"A prominent medical ninja defecting from the village...that's going to cause an uproar within the great shinobi nations." Jiraiya said as he drank a bottle of sake, "Tsuna sure is pissed. Now we're stuck doing damage control for the shit she pulled off."

Looking over at Naruto Jiraiya handed him the bingo book, "Check it out for yourself."

This was just as bad, if not worser than the documents he had managed to smuggle from Jiraiya's scroll while he was out getting laid. His loyalty towards the village had wavered. Tsunade managed to arrest those responsible...including jiji...no, the third hokage. At least he now knew why the villagers hated him so much; the information about him being the nine-tails jinchurikki got leaked. That should've never happened.

His dad was the fourth hokage, his mom one of the last remaining Uzumakis and the former jinchurikki of the nine-tails. Naruto was shocked to find that out and royally pissed that the Third Hokage had kept his parentage away from him. He wasn't sure that either Tsunade, Kakashi-sensei, or Jiraiya were going to break the news to him at one point but Naruto doesn't care. He got all the answers he needed...all thanks to Sarah.

Naruto can't blame her for defecting; he would've done so himself had he not made the promise to become Hokage. She was fed up with the system screwing people over. The Third Hokage and the council caused this mess, all Sarah did was air out their dirty laundry.

Their downfall was quite comedic. It was a long time coming. Whatever punishment comes their way they deserve it.

All Naruto had to do now was get stronger. Almost dying to Kimimaro and watching his best friend die in front of him was traumatizing enough. He never wanted to see anyone sacrifice their life for him again, He needed to gain the villagers trust if his dreams were to ever come into fruition, he needed to bring Sarah-chan back to the village, he needs to beat the shit out of that Danzo guy. There was a lot of things on Naruto's list that he needs to complete, but first he needs to finally complete his ultimate move...the Rasenshuriken...
