Hello, people who watch my artwork. I have something new that I tried today!
Sort of.
It's another Luigis Mansion thing again (have I relapsed? Oops.) ITS MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD GAME OKAY
So anyway, this is new because it's kind of a redo of one of my first ever art pieces, which I called 'Mario!'. (I'm cringing so hard looking at this thing.) Its actually posted at the beginning of this book from about five years ago, but I'll repost it here for comparison.

I will admit I killed that logo though. I don't really draw logos anymore because I'm lazy (and mostly because I could just slap one on digitally if I need to. My bad.)
But anyway, when you're done barfing at that old work, take a look at my re-draw of it which hopefully will not make you barf!

I'm much happier now because of the Everything.
Mario and Luigi were done entirely in pencils, while the background was almost entirely markers. I think I'll like doing that balance because pencils let me do fine detail and depth, while markers give fast coverage. Listen to me yap like I actually know what I'm talking about 😅
This one, unlike the ancient one, is also special because for the first time ever I kind of intended this as an illustration for one of my books. This was done specifically in accord with my Luigi's Mansion novel (hence why they look beat up). If you want to get super picky, Luigi's not supposed to be wearing the Poltergust, but I left it in for A R T I S T I C

Nowadays I'm trying to get more deft with drawing nonstandard and organic positions and facial expressions. I know a lot of people like to do 'redraws' of their old art, but I'm not typically going to do that (because I am busy/lazy). I just liked this one. Anyways enjoy!
