I correct myself, and I stand corrected. The most important set is always the third set, even when there isn't one.

Sandee tosses her shuttlecock. It flies a millimetre over the net.

I serve again.

Woop!

I serve a second time.

Woop-woop!

Third serve.

Woopwoopwoopwoop!

You added an extra woop and forgot the dashes. God damn you, she returned the shuttlecock now. This is the second time!!

They rally on.

8-1.

Sandee serves.

Why did I hit it with the racquet frame?

13-5.

Rea serves. Sandee returns it into her box.

Okay, now it's my turn.

Sandee tosses the shuttlecock. It lands immediately on the other side.

The third set isn't supposed to be this easy. It's my turn to serve again... Huh, I guess Set 2 really is the one that matters.

"Woop!" goes Kaitlyn in the audience.

"What's your favourite Pokemon?" asks Kaitlyn, leaning closer towards Kaitlyn. In the meanwhile, Sandee prepares her third serve in a row.

"Woop-woop-wooper!"

Sandee's sodium content skyrockets as she stares back at Kaitlyn.

Don't you realise we're both wearing the same colour of shirt?

20 - 9.

This has a really obvious ending, doesn't it?

As Rea serves, Sandee makes her return. "Out," Coach Ripley declares.

Well, maybe not but I'm still double her score.

"Woop!"

24 - 11.

"Well, this is it for Cangrejo," Mandee declares.

"It's Sandee's serve now," says Kaitlyn. "CAMPANA SPELLING! C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY! HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY!"

She tosses the shuttlecock. She hits, and Rea returns.

"Minnesota... SMASH!"

The shuttlecock dropped to the ground in one fell woop.

"Who won?" Ykielle interrogates, coming in back from the field.

"Campana with a 13-point lead," Kaitlyn answers. "It's mostly her consecutive serves that helped her with that."

"Holy sh— That's good," Ykielle compliments.

"Who won football?" asks Sandee.

"Well, it's just half-time break at the moment, but so far, Navio's winning," Ykielle claims. "If that's not surprising enough for you, the number of hours Ann's been watching the game is more than the number of Jatorade bottles she consumed over there."

"You serious?" Mandee responds.

"Watch for yourselves. The Navio team is good."

"Who are they up against?" asks Sandee.

"Cangrejo."

If a winner and a loser compete in a match, and the loser wins while the winner loses, who won?

"I'm not that surprised," Kaitlyn expresses. "Navio has good players, but not the best in terms of tactics. That's why they lost in a lot, but their football team is an exception."

"What do you think of the other houses?" Mandee interviews.

"I'd like to think of the houses this way: Cangrejo is more physically able to compete in certain sports. Crucifijo builds up team spirit with their cheers, inspiring great athletic feats in their players, both athletes and non-athletes. Campana is more strategic, even if they don't have the best runners or tallest blockers. Then Navio is the opposite."

"I didn't strategise for badminton," Sandee counters.

"Yeah, but you're clearly more experienced," replies Kaitlyn. "If you were part of the varsity team at some point, yeah, it wouldn't be surprising for me either. I'll be on my way."

Kaitlyn Moore has left the chat.

"Yo, Sandee," says Mandee. "Let's watch basketball."

"Nah, I'm gonna watch football. See ya in the finals, though!"

I'd end this now, but the word count isn't enough for a final chapter.

"Yo," Sandee greets.

"How many points did you get?" asks Ann, drinking Jatorade.

"Ann wasn't drinking that much Jatorade." My ass.

"25 to 11," she answers.

"Damn," April comments.

"What's the score?"

"2-0 so far, Navio to Cangrejo," Ann replies. "The second half just started. You came cuz you heard?"

"Yep," Sandee affirms.

Dethrone Cangrejo.

Somos Luchadores C-A! C-A-M! C-A-M-P-A-N-A, CAMPANA! HEY, HEY! CAMPANA, HEY! HEY!
