Noise buzzed through the overwatch base, members gathered around in small bundles to talk to one another.

Without any prior knowledge, one would think that they were just normal people at a small part, talking. Long time friends and rivals that had gathered to see each other once again.

Tonight was not a special occasion, in fact, it would have been just another normal night. However Tracer had decided that new life and energy needed to be restored to the group of once heroes.

Eliza watched from a far as the British girl bounced around the small party, talking to everyone.

She herself had never been one for parties, preferring to keep to herself rather than spend time in pointless conversations about a life that really wasn't pleasant.

During the day, she and the other overwatch members would participate in missions, attempting to hold back the ever looming Talon. And by the time night fell they were all too exhausted to do much of anything.

Eliza sighed, brushing a strand of loose brown hair back behind her ear, loosing herself in the empty space in front of her.

"Enjoying the party?"

Eliza jumped at the sudden voice, looking over at Tracer with a not-so-serious glare.

"I-" she began

"Because you've been standing here in the corner the entire time and you haven't talked to anyone! I'm starting to think you don't like us!" Tracer chirped dramatically, not caring that she had cut Eliza off.

Tracer may be older than Eliza, but she sure didn't act the part.

"The party's fine.. just.. not my thing.." she admitted softly. Before Tracer could respond with more questions Eliza excused herself to the bathroom.

As she walked back the sounds of the party faded away until there was nothing but quiet silence. Eliza expertly navigated the halls of the overwatch base, with no clear goal as to where she was going.

The woman sighed, crossing her arms over her chest and leaning against a cool, metal wall. A long moment past when suddenly an uneasy feeling hit Eliza.

It was a feeling she got whenever there was a threat around, usually it was one of the Talon members but...

This was different..

The only thing Eliza could tell was that something was defiantly not right. Pushing herself off the wall she wandered through the halls, looking for the disturbance it was seemed like such a peaceful night.
