Chapter 9

*Warning- torture, possibly triggering, idk man*

Alex coughed, dark red blood coming from her mouth and pooling on the floor. She groaned as Meg, the demon, punched her in the stomach again, and she coughed up more blood. She was being held up by chains that were attached to her wrists, while more chains held her ankles, keeping her in place. The chains also had powerful spells carved into them, preventing her from breaking free.

“Don’t worry, you can’t die.” Meg smirked. “Death’s made sure of that, remember?”

“Fuck….you…” Alex lifted her head to glare at the demon.

“Alex! Someone’s here to see you!” Crowley called up the stairs to Alex, who was laying on her bed reading. She sighed and closed her book, heading downstairs to see who was there.

“Hello~” A woman wearing a loose purple shirt with a black leather jacket over it and jeans sang.

“You….” Alex glared at the demon. “Why are you here?”

“Father would like to see you.” The female demon smiled.

“And who says I want to see him?” Alex crossed her arms.

“Me. Because he’s left me in charge of you.” She smirked.

You?” Alex laughed. “You think that you’ll be enough?”

“I’m sure. Don’t forget, he’s in your head too.”

Alex rolled her eyes, “Whatever. But I shouldn’t have to listen to some filthy demon.”

You’re not. You’re listening to me.

Alex was startled by Lucifer’s sudden appearance. Has he been here the whole time!?

“So you’ll come quietly, yeah?” Meg was still smirking, knowing Alex could do nothing but obey.

Alex sighed, “Fine. What do you want anyway?” She followed the demon to a black car and climbed in, stuck in the backseat with Meg while two other demons sat up front.

“I believe Father will explain when we arrive.”

“Okkayyyy…..” Alex muttered. Where is his hide out anyway? Some filthy abandoned warehouse? Nah, I think he has more class than that…. Maybe a mansion like my father?

 ~

When they arrived, Alex was surprised to see it was a nice large, all brick, European style house that Lucifer was staying in. “A little obvious, ay?” Alex muttered.

“Maybe, but it works.” Meg shrugged. I suppose being in the middle of a neighborhood is hidden enough. Alex thought.

The inside was beautiful, they entered into a large foyer, then Meg led Alex to the even bigger living room, where Lucifer waited alone. The living room was decorated simply, dark red wallpaper with gold lining and a brick fireplace on the right wall. There wasn’t much furniture, besides a couch.

“Hello, Alex.” Lucifer smiled, he was standing in front of a set of glass doors that led to a porch and patio in the back of the house.

“Uh...Hi….You wanted to see me?” Alex raised an eyebrow, slightly concerned.

"Yes, we have some things to discuss.”

“Ok…What?” Alex asked, wanting him to get to the point.

“Well, first of all, you’re going to be staying here, with me from now on.” Lucifer stated.

“What!?” Alex exclaimed. “No! I can’t!”

“Why not?” Lucifer tilted his head to the side a little.

“C-Cause….I…” Alex’s mind went blank. Why can’t I? Because…..I…. Alex shoved the thought away, knowing Lucifer would be listening.

“Because of my brother, right?” Lucifer finished for her.

         Alex’s eyes widened a little. “I…uh….”

“That’s another matter I wanted to discuss,” Lucifer continued. “Getting close to him isn’t a smart thing to do.”

“Why not?” Alex regained her composure.

“Well, first of all, you’re mine. And second, this is no time for silly relationships.” Lucifer tapped his chin.

Yours?” Alex raised her eyebrows. “Just because I’m bound to you doesn’t mean you magically become my dad.” Meg seemed to be surprised at her sudden confidence. Lucifer just chuckled a bit. “And don’t start thinking they’ll be something going on between us,” Alex pointed her finger between her and Lucifer. “Cause that’s just not gonna happen.”

Lucifer smiled a little, “Of course. Though, you may change your mind once I get my way. I imagine you’d enjoy ruling by my side.”

“In your dreams.” Alex rolled her eyes.

“Hey, mind your tone.” Lucifer warned. Don’t forget who you’re talking to. Alex bit her tongue to keep from talking back, but she wasn’t sure if it was her will or Lucifer’s.

“Now,” Lucifer moved on. “Do you have any new information on the Winchesters?”

“No, I don’t. I haven’t talked to them since Carthage.” Alex crossed her arms. “Why do you ask, I thought you were so sure you had everything planned out?” Alex sneered. The look she received in return could kill a demon in an instant. Instead of becoming scared, or backing down, Alex straightened up more, and held Lucifer’s gaze, realizing he could do nothing.

“It’s not wise to fight me, Alex.” Lucifer advised, his voice low.

“Why should I be scared of you?” Alex jeered. “You can’t kill me. You need me.” She didn’t break eye contact once.

Lucifer’s eyes narrowed, “That may be true, but you also can’t die.”

“What?” Alex narrowed her eyes as well.

“I have Death bound to me too. I can make it so you can’t die, in fact, I already have.” Lucifer then turned to Meg, who had been standing there wide-eyed at the two staring each other down. Alex could see a dark glimmer in Lucifer’s eyes that wasn’t there before. “Why don’t you show her what I mean, Child?”

“Of course, Father.” Meg smiled, grabbing Alex and putting magic handcuffs she got from no where on Alex’s wrists.

“Don’t worry, you can’t die.” Meg smirked, punching her in the stomach once more. “Death’s made sure of that, remember?”

“Fuck….you…” Alex lifted her head to glare at the demon. Meg only laughed a little and began to carve Alex’s body with a silver knife, because she had yet to figure out Alex’s weaknesses.

“Hmmm...Why don’t we try this?” She picked up a blade that had odd symbols carved into it. Meg smiled, narrowing her eyes slightly as she stabbed Alex in the side and she screamed in pain, the wound faintly glowing orange. “So that’s your weakness, huh? Mine too.”

The torture continued for hours, before another demon came down and told Meg to stop for the day. All because I stood up for myself…. Alex’s head was spinning and she didn’t even have the strength to keep herself up, so her body hung limply, making the chains dig deeper into her wrists. No longer able to keep her eyes open, Alex closed them, and blacked out. Gabriel…...help.

Author's Note-

Wayyy shorter than usual, I know! I'm sorry! I wanted to end it like I did, but I didn't realize how short it was and I didn't know how to make it better. <3
