Inspired By: Fallout Tale Ep. 26

Cywren, Timebomb, and Quasar were assisting the scientists, that helped Cywren's dad with Project Purity, to safety.

But knowing Vent, he had to find some way to put humor on the team.

Cywren was still rather shaken up. The death of her father had only happened moments ago and the heartache was still there.

"No, not him!" Vent yelled, noticing the weaker boy in the blue jumpsuit named Daniel.

Cywren didn't know a lot about this boy, but she had heard rumors that he liked her.

"Cywren? Can we chat for a sec?" Timebomb asked as soon as they entered a creepy room filled with Enclave and Ghouls.

"Uh, sure, just make it quick," She said while picking off another Enclave soldier.

"Well, this isn't really a 'make it quick' topic," He said while shooting a Ghoul with his laser pistol.

"Then it's gonna have to wait a bit," She said while switching to her Sniper Rifle.

"Okay," He answered, resuming in his place in the fighting.

It was only a few deaths later before she took the time to calm down.

"Alright, Timebomb, what did yo-"

"Hey, Cywren. You probably don't know me, but I have something I really need to get off my chest," Daniel started while looking directly into Cywren's blue eyes.

"Um, o-okay," She said shyly while her eyes darted around the room for a simple and believable way out of this awkward situation. 

"I like you," He simply said while her jaw dropped.

She wasn't expecting anything that straight-up.

Sure, she'd heard it before - but from where?

She couldn't think of the person off the top of her head, but she knew it was someone. The words fit the situation, but not the person saying them.

"Oh, and I heard about your dad. Things like that are just awful, right?" He asked in a somewhat preppy tone. At least it was preppy enough to completely shatter Cywren's already-broken-heart.

She broke down.

"C'mon, you know I didn't mean it like that!" Daniel yelled while sorrow continued to leak out of her eyes.

"Stop!" She finally snapped, turning around and continuing her attempt to kill an Enclave.

Time had passed and everything was dead. Nothing breathing other than the followers, Daniel, and Doctor Li.

"Why did you have to make it?!" Vent yelled at Daniel while Cywren shook her head.

But something was off.

She and Vent agreed that it was probably the Flamethrower sounds.

"Timebomb?!" Cywren yelled while watching Timebomb and Quasar chase Daniel out of the room.

"Wha-?" Vent stuttered while laughing.

"Timebomb?!" Cywren repeated.

She tracked them to a hallway where she found Timebomb and Quasar looking down at Daniel's dead body.

"What'd you do?!" She yelled at Timebomb.

"That's hilarious!" Vent laughed looking at Daniel.

"The jerk made you cry? Right?" Timebomb asked while Cywren shamefully nodded.

"Then he got what he deserved," He said while she shook her head.

"Timebomb, you didn't have to kill him," She said shyly while blushing.

"Yeah I did. What, did you like him?" Timebomb asked, looking deeply into Cywren's eyes.

"No, but he was human too, you know," She said while giving him a somewhat upset glare.

"Cywren, who said he was the only one who liked you?" Timebomb said while Cywren cocked an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about?" She asked while looking straight through his goggles.

"Cywren Caster, I like you," He said while the words finally fit with a voice. She smiled.

"I like you, too, Timebomb," She said while locking their hands together.

Basically, they continued this quest, but there was a wave of safety that seemed to affect the couple. And they enjoyed it.
