"want it now, all they say is 'entertain me'"

❊personality❊

-inanna is very proud of herself and where she has come from, she was a racer turned jumper turned ranch horse, she's had the best of all worlds and is not one to look down upon herself or her accomplishments. however, along with this pride, and a decently large ego, the mare can be quite sensitive, especially if she is told off for doing something wrong or being bad. she does have the tendency to be a bad sport about being in the wrong, but she can, rarely though, come around and be more understanding.

-the mare is strong both mentally and physically, she can run just as fast or faster than any of the other horses on the farm, she can jump quite well, and she can pull a plow or a buggy, though maybe not as well as the draft horses that are used for that specific purpose, but she can do it. she is quite pushy and likes to be the boss, but with a stern hand and confident leader, they will earn her respect and she won't push them around as much. she is very smart and knows her job quite well, seeing as she has gotten into a bit of a routine.

-inanna can be a little melancholy, she misses her life on the track, she misses the thrall that comes from running all out against equally strong and skilled horses. she misses winning big money and the pride and praise that rolled off her owner, trainer and jockey in waves. and even after she retired from the track and was sold off to be an eventing horse, she missed the competitions, the work regime, she liked the go-go-go that that life offered her. she missed her mental and physical limits being pushed, and the strength that came out of it. and though she was here now, and she doesn't mind the work that comes from it, she does often miss the adrenaline rush and the overall atmosphere of her former performance life.

-she has a fiery spirit and temper, not quite the horse you want to mess with nor pick a fight with. as she will always follow up on a threat, she never thinks she goes over-the-top and believes each of her actions is justifiable and that she is acting accordingly. however, she isn't a bully at all and it takes a lot to get her riled up to the point that she would do harm to another creature, and she doesn't go about making threats willy-nilly. this side of inanna is really only regularly seen through her determination and stubbornness. it is difficult to get this mare to accept any new presences since she isn't outwardly friendly, though she prefers the company of males to females. she doesn't like other mares in the slightest and is more than likely to get aggressive with any female equine presence.

-inanna isn't very confrontational, as in she doesn't go searching for a fight, but she will speak up in the face of injustice. she doesn't mind sitting back and watching two creatures duke it out, she rather finds it entertaining. however if she feels that she, or someone else, is being wronged, then she will stick up for them. but she won't back down from a fight if a challenge is risen to her, she rarely will lose a battle, even if her foe is larger than she.

-this mare is not very affectionate, as she would rather show/express her love in other ways. instead of nuzzling up to a human she likes, she will protect them, she won't buck them off when they ride her, if she hears anything negative said about them from other humans or animals, she will be the first to shut them up. she is not the lovey-dovey type of horse that wants attention or treats, she wants to be respected and in return will show you respect. inanna likes who she likes, and that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to do anything in particular to wrong her, if she just doesn't like you for whatever reason, then she doesn't like you. and very rarely can you come back from that.

"all the kids bet they think, it sucks to be you"

❊appearance❊

-inanna is a rather large thoroughbred, standing at sixteen point three hands high, at the withers, and, though she is very lean and strong, she weighs about one thousand two hundred and fifty pounds. she is built a bit thicker than the average thoroughbred mare, but it all fits nicely. she has the standard light bone structure of the breed, coupled with the long legs and long back. she is a natural athlete, as is evident purely by her musculature and strength. and though by some standards she is a small horse, especially when comparing her to draft horses or warmbloods.

-the mare is beautiful in color, the main color seen is a dark chocolate brown, nearly black, with patches of a lighter fawn color on her flanks, chest, muzzle and the end of her haunch. her mane and tail are black in color, but the extremities have been sun-bleached to a reddish brown, nearly the same color as the patches on her flanks and chest. her left hind leg hosts a white pastern marking, and her face has a large white star with a white stripe that narrows down to nothing right when her muzzle takes on the brown coloring.

-inanna's eyes, though a little small for her face, are dark brown, nearly black in color and super expressive. no matter how hard she tries, it is impossible for her to hide any of her emotions through them. and though they are small for her face, her eyes don't really look out of proportion. in fact her head seems even a little small for her body.

-the mare has very few, if any, scars on her body. that being, in her early racing days, her owners were careful to make sure she was always in tip-top condition and that she didn't have any sort of blemish or marking that would make her look any less stunning. during her eventing career, she gained a few little nicks and marks here and there, as she wasn't under the same level of scrutiny there, as she was at the track. and even so, and marks or scratches that she would acquire would all be hidden or covered by her dark pelt.

"got everything they want, and nothing to prove"

❊other❊

-(if allowed) the farmer's daughter still jumps the mare and competes with her, just not quite at the same level as inanna had been prior to living on the farm.

"hypnotized every night, but i ain't no fool"

❊aesthetic(s)❊

-all made by me!
