"i'm young, scrappy and hungry"

☥appearance☥

-mazin, when he fully matures, will be a large wolf, very leggy, but still large. at this age, he stands at twenty-five inches tall, and will likely grow up another inch or two, and he weighs one hundred and twenty pounds, meaning he will likely weigh over one fifty when he has completely filled out and gained more muscle. but even now, this male is already pretty muscular, and though it is more lean muscle than anything, it still makes an appearance under his thick pelt. he is very fleet-footed and nimble, able to turn on a dime and speed across a landscape, his long legs enable him to cover ground very quickly. this canine has broad shoulders and thick bones, but his ears and paws are a little big for him, a hint that he still has quite a bit of growing yet to do.

-this male has a beautiful coat coloring that can only be described as the stereotypical wolf coat made up of gray, white and black with slight bits of a pale tan on his face and behind his ears. the snow-white color coats his entire body, and the black and dark gray mingle with the white coloring on his back. his head has dark gray below his ears and over his eyes that extends down the sides of his face to his cheeks. his tail is primarily white in color and ends with a black tip to the tail, this color also shows up on the inside of his ears. his nose is black in color as are the rims of eyes, lips and paw pads. 

-mazin as beautiful almond-shaped eyes that take on a cold, pale brown color with a slight gold undertone. his eyes are not large, nor or they small, but seem to fit his face nicely, and rarely show any sense of warmth or kindness, aside from the non-stop fire of determination and arrogance seen in his gaze, his eyes remain a blank expanse of a pale brown. unlike with brown eyes, this male's don't lack the luster and intensity often found in the eyes of other wolves.

-the wolf is rather rambunctious and reckless as all young wolves are and has gained his own fair share of scars. they dot his muzzle, scruff, flanks, shoulders, legs and paws. none are the result from any serious injury, but all from little scratches here and there due to him scraping along trees, running through briars and leaping and sliding down rocks. though he is a very resilient animal, mazin, unfortunately isn't invincible and thus bears the marks of his numerous encounters with the different forces of nature.

☥good traits☥

-intelligent; mazin is a very smart dog, both street-smart and book-smart, if wolves had books. he learns quickly and can adapt to nearly any situation in order to benefit him the most, not only that but his ability to understand and figure out nearly any matter that would stump most wolves is absurd. though he is young, this canine knows how to deal with the dangers and difficulties that come with living in a harsh world. and though some think that book-smart refers to one's ability to follow rules, in this case it refers to one who's knowledge isn't completely based around life in an unforgiving climate.

-survivalist; this wolf knows how to survive on his own, making him an independent individual without a dependency on the pack he calls his own. mazin has no problem living on his own, just him and the wild, as he is a good hunter, he is good at defending himself and he's one smart cookie, something he rather enjoys reminding others of. he brings this point up so often that many aren't even sure why he still sticks with the pack, and the answer to that is simple, he doesn't want to be lonely, though he would never admit that. not only that, but he has high hopes for himself and expects to become higher in the ranks as he ages, though he is not quite sure how he is going to do it, it will happen, he is almost certain of it.

-courageous; mazin takes the word courageous to the next level, almost as if this canine has no fear. this wolf and fear are strangers to one another, and if this wolf fears anything or anyone, he sure as hell doesn't show it. he will always be the first to stand up to injustice and spit in the face of what he doesn't believe in. this canid is a moral creature, so he doesn't stomp about, spitting on and disagreeing with everything, just what he deems as incorrect beliefs or behaviors. this male will stand up to any threat that faces his pack without flinching, he stands strong in the face of danger and even though he doesn't particularly like all of the wolves in his pack, he would gladly give his life for theirs.

☥bad traits☥

-feisty/defensive; mazin is always on the offensive when around others, as he always thinks he is getting attacked by others verbally and that he has got to stick up for himself. and while that might not be the case, he doesn't take criticism lightly and will likely verbally assault any canine that says anything moderately critical about him. he gets very defensive and isn't afraid to snap at or show his teeth to anyone, even those higher in the ranks than he.

-spitfire/no filter; this wolf often shoots off at the mouth, and says whatever is on his mind without thinking it through. he doesn't care who he offends with his words, nor does he care what his words allow others to think of him. his temper is fierce and he is easily provoked into an outburst, mazin always says what's on his mind and doesn't much seem to care how his words impact others or how they perceive him. this male also never thinks about the potential consequences of his words or actions, before or even after he has spoken them.

-arrogant; mazin is very arrogant, he thinks very highly of himself and his abilities. this canine knows he is smart, strong and can survive on his own, and continues to flaunt those aspects of himself to everyone, wherever he goes. this wolf sees himself as a big-shot fancy-pants type canid with his life before him, and while that may be true, he can't imagine a world where that wouldn't be the case. he doesn't show much respect to those ranking above him, except to the queen of course, as she has earned his respect.
