Summary: you and Daisy are caught by Kassius and you wake up alone in a cell, not knowing if Daisy is still alive. Based on 5x03 and 5x07.

Daisy blew a hole in the floor of the lab. Since the key to the elevator had broken during the fight with the Blues, there was no other option than to give up on being stealthy and just hope to get to Kassius first before he noticed the tumult.

You followed her down, jumping through the hole and landing on the floor below. It looked completely different than upstairs, where the people lived in dark hallways and had to scramble for food.

This part of the Lighthouse looked expensive. You were definitely in the right place.

''Which way?'' Daisy whispered to you, eager to get in and out as soon as possible.

As you stood up, you immediately felt something was wrong. ''I don't know, I can't... I don't sense them. I don't sense anyone.''

Daisy looked at you with fearful eyes. The plan was now completely ruined and this would take a lot longer than expected.

You followed her as she just picked a way to go, jogging closely behind. Honestly, you had no idea where you were going and neither did Daisy. You had no floor plan or any way to know which direction to go. You had hoped to rely on your power to find both Jemma and Kassius, but something was blocking you.

Normally, you could sense people. That was also how you had found the others when you were first send here through the Monolith. But something about these quarters blocked your power.

It was too quiet. Too simple. These were Kassius' quarters. He must know you were coming.

Right as you were about to voice those thoughts, a glass wall slammed down in front of both of you. Daisy stopped just in time to prevent running into it, looking at it in confusion. You turned around, wanting to go back the way you came, but another glass wall trapped you.

''No, no, no,'' you muttered under your breath, pressing your hands against the glass.

You stopped when you heard a hissing sound. Gas started to pour into the cage you were now trapped in. You both looked at each other in a panic and you were to say something but the gas entered your lungs and caused you to cough.

Your legs grew weak and you could no longer stand on them. You collapsed to the ground, followed by Daisy. You tried to focus on her, more worried about your girlfriend than yourself, but the world started spinning fast. It would be long before you both would pass out.

Footsteps distracted you and you followed Daisy's gaze to the people walking towards the cage.

''It's a rare occasion that I am surprised, but count this among them.'' A blue guy, dressed in a fancy and expensive looking coat, smiled down at you like you were hamsters in a cage.

''I told you she'd find her way down here.'' A familiar voice spoke behind the guy you suspected to be Kassius. His figure was blurry, but it was unmistakably Deke as he came into view. ''And demonstrating her powers, no less. That right there is a weapon of mass destruction, tied up in one pretty, little package, all for you. We can talk about price later, but I expect that you'll be more than fair.''

''Son of a bitch,'' you breathed as loud as you could. Deke had helped you and now he just delivered the two of you to Kassius like this.

Beside you, Daisy coughed, gasping for air. You looked at her anxiously, but knew you couldn't do anything for her. You couldn't take Kassius out without your powers. Helplessness filled your stomach. The one person you needed to protect most, the most important person in your life, you couldn't protect.

''So, this is Quake, Destroyer of Worlds. How is it possible that she's here?'' Kassius completely ignored you, which wasn't a surprise because next to Daisy, you were nothing. That didn't bother you in the least, on the contrary, you were very proud of her, but it did paint a target on her back here.

''The important thing is: she's yours.''

 Daisy looked at Deke with the most hateful look she could muster up. Between her shallow breaths, she had just enough oxygen to threaten him. ''I'll kill you. I swear.''

You couldn't keep your eyes open any longer and your arms couldn't support you anymore. You didn't want to give in, but had no choice but to give in, collapsing to the ground completely and closing your eyes.

Right before completely losing consciousness, you heard Deke's voice. ''Sorry, sweetheart. I'm just playing the long game.''

~~~~~~
The door to your cell slid open with a hiss, two Kree coming to drag you out. They had to drag you because you weren't sure you could walk on your own.
Because Kassius somehow had figured out you were closest to Daisy (probably Deke's fault), it made you the person with the most information about her and he planned to get all of that out of you. No way were you giving him any more information about her or about the rest of the team though. And since you were refusing to speak, he had turned to more aggressive ways of making you talk.
You hadn't seen Daisy since you were caught that day in the hallway and it was excruciating to not know what was happening to her. Was she even still alive? Was she being tortured the way you were? Were they using her for something? Was the rest of the team still alive and were they coming for you?
Those questions kept rolling around in your head whenever you were alone, which was always.
You had no idea where they were dragging you this time, but it wasn't the usual room. ''Where are you taking me?'' Of course, there was no answer, but the silence was too much to bear. ''Where is she? Where did you take her?'' You were struggling against their tight grip as best as possible, but it had no use.
One of the Kree smashed a button and a roller door started to open. You had no intent to go in there though, no idea what could be behind there. ''Where is Quake? Where is she?'' you yelled as they threw you in the room without any trouble. You landed hard, but wasted no time in getting up and rushing back towards the door.
In your panicked and angry state, you didn't notice all the people behind you staring at you, their conversations ceased by your screaming and cursing.
The door shut just before you reached it and you pounded against the metal once before finally giving up. You stood there, taking a few deep breathes to try and calm yourself down. The outburst had left you with even less energy than before and you just wanted to sit down. Right before you did though, a voice filled the silent room.
''Y/N?''
You wanted to cry there and then. Her voice that of an angel you hadn't heard for a long time. Slowly, as if you were afraid you had just imagined it, you turned around.
Daisy's figure pushed through the crowd of people, rushing over towards you.
''Daisy?'' you whispered, tears already blurring your vision.
When she reached you, she wrapped her arms around you so tight you thought your fragile body was going to break. Even when you fell to the ground in a crying mess, she didn't let you go.
''It's okay, I'm here,'' she muttered over and over in your ear, not caring about the people watching. ''Are you okay?'' she asked you as she pulled away, taking your face in her hands and studying the bruises and cuts. ''What did they do to you?''
You completely ignored her worry, staring at her brown eyes. ''I thought I'd lost you,'' you whispered, the pain laced in your voice. But Daisy's brown eyes were red too, she had been crying too.
''Me too,'' she answered honestly, wiping the tears from your face. ''Come on, let's show them what we are made off.''
You nodded, pushing all the sad feelings down. A breakdown like this was very unusual for you, but something about this place had you more on edge than usual.
Daisy pulled you up, throwing warning glares towards the other Inhumans in the room, and tugged you towards a quiet corner.
Whatever was going to happen next, at least you were together and had your Daisy back. Together, you could face anything.
