"This is empty. You took empty tanks?" Kie groaned, glaring at John B before checking the next tank and sighing. "Okay, this one's a quarter full. It's enough for one of us."

"Love it when a plan comes together." Pope mumbled, making Quinn chuckle.

"Does anybody know how to dive?" Kie asked and JJ instantly cleared his throat. "It's kind of a Kook sport."

The whole group turned to Quinn who sighed. "I've done it like... once." "Quinn-" Pope began and Quinn, knowing he was going to say something along the lines if, 'one time isn't enough.' quickly butted in.

"I know the basic shit. You put the thing in your mouth and breathe. And I can't come up too fast or I might get the... Ah, shit! What's it called?" "You get the bends. It's when nitrogen gets into your blood." Pope said and Quinn snapped her fingers, pointing at him. "That. The bends."

"Bends like, bend over..." JJ asked, bending his back a bit. "The bends kill you." Pope interrupted, making JJ slump, nodding his head. "Right."

"Let me do some calculations real quick." Pope said, making Quinn walk over to him to look at his equation. "That boat's about 30 feet down." Pope explained and Quinn nodded. "Okay."

"So it'll take 25 minutes at that depth. Which means you need to make your safety stop at about... ten feet. All right? For two minutes." Pope said, looking to Quinn worriedly but she was calm, nodding her head. "Yeah, yeah. Ten feet, two minutes. Got it."

Suddenly, she heard a splash and looked up, noticing Kie was gone. "Okay, which one of you pissed her off when I wasn't looking?" She asked, looking between John B and JJ.

"What was that?" John B asked, ignoring Quinn. "I don't know, but I liked it. A lot." JJ muttered, making Quinn throw an empty beer can at him. "Oh, shut it!"

JJ shook his head, sighing as he walked towards her. "All righty. Yeah. Uh, when you... uh, when you're down there, you look for the cargo hold. You stick this thing inside and twist and pull, okay?" Quinn nodded, taking the key. "Stick in the hole, twist, and pull. Yeah... I'm never saying that outloud again."

"Not the time for dirty jokes, Quinn." Pope called out, making JJ tilted his head, shrugging. "I don't know. That was a good one. Nice job, shortstack."

Kie's head popped up from under the water as she looked to Quinn. "Hey! I tied my T-shirt to the anchor chain about ten feet down. It's where you need to do your safety stop." Quinn nodded as John B helped her put on the tank and Pope ran up to her. "Keep an eye on this. You need to make sure you have enough air to decompress."

Quinn nodded, slowly looking up at Pope. "Okay, how much do I need?" Pope cringed slightly at her words before cupping her face. "Unclear. Breathe as little as possible."

Quinn nodded as Pope let go of her and she walked towards the edge of the boat. "Zen. Think Zen, you know?" JJ said, breathing weirdly, Quinn copying his actions until Kie shoved the breathing tube into her mouth.

"Hey, if we get caught in the marsh, we're basically screwed, so... better get a move on." JJ said, Kie slapping his arm as Quinn did a little salute. "Copy that. Diver down?" She asked, her words muffled from the breathing tube but they could understand her, all of them nodding their heads as Pope returned the salute. "Diver down."

Quinn smiled, looking to her four friends as she jumped back, letting herself fall into the water. Quinn immediately started swimming to the Grady-White, gripping the key in her hand tightly.

She grabbed onto the top of the boat and swung her legs to get inside the boat. She looked around for the cargo hold, her eyes widening as soon as she saw it. Quinn quickly swam over to it, twiddling with the key in her hand to hold it the right way before pushing it into the lock.

She quickly twisted the key and the small door opened, revealing a black drawstring bag. Quinn smiled, quickly grabbing the bag and kicked her feet to leave the boat.

Her eyes traveled the chain, grabbing on when she found Kie's shirt, indicating she was at her 2 minute mark. She untied the shirt from the string and held onto it as she looked down at her timer.

Quinn's eyes went wide as she looked at the screen, she had only 40 seconds of air left but she had to wait for another minute and 30 seconds.

She looked up slightly, her eyes widening as panic started to fill her up as she looked up at the second boat beside the HMS.

She looked back screen now at 40 seconds but 10 seconds of air. She watched as the 10 second timer went down and once it hit 2, she took in a deep breath, taking the rest of her air.

She looked away from the clock, not wanting to stress herself by looking at the time. She sang 'You Are My Sunshine.' in her head 3 times to get to 30 seconds and once she was done, she felt herself grow light headed as her throat scratched, begging her to cough.

She looked up and noticed the second boat speeding away and she quickly held onto the chain, feeling herself grow weaker as she pushed herself closer and closer to the surface.

"There she is! Oh, God! Jesus Christ!" Quinn heard Pope scream as soon as she was above the surface. She quickly pulled the mouth piece out of her mouth as she coughed out for air.

"Don't scare us like that!" Kie screamed as Pope held his hand out to the blonde, helping her into the boat. "How'd it go down there?"

"Did you find anything?" JJ asked before she could answer Pope question. Quinn let out a weak chuckle. "Did I find anything?"

She tossed the bag to JJ, making the group cheer. "Yeah, there we go, shortstack!"

"Jeez, Quinn!" Kie muttered in shock as Pope happily wrapped his arms around her waist, spinning her around.

Quinn let out a happy laugh as she spun before going into a coughing fit, her throat still sore from the lack of air. Pope abruptly stopped spinning, setting Quinn down as the group looked at her worriedly. "You okay?"

Quinn nodded her head, still coughing as Lie ran to her bag, grabbing a water bottle and hanging it to Quinn. The blonde gave Kie a nod in thanks as she took a sip. Once she stopped coughing, she turned to Pope and nodded. "Yeah, I ran out of air."

"You scared the shit out of me." Kie breathed out, making Quinn give her a big smile. "Aw... thanks!" Kie rolled her eyes, holding back a chuckle as Pope patted Quinn's shoulder. "Yeah, the cops were up here, but, uh... took care of 'em."

"My bad." Quinn tiredly mumbled, taking another sip of water as John B shook his head. "You're all good."

"Yeah, you kinda missed the show, shortstack." JJ cheered, making Quinn look to him before noticing a boat she didn't recognize coming towards them. Quinn's brows furrowed as she put all her attention on the boat. "Hey, guys? Guys, bogey, two o'clock."

"What?" Pope asked as everyone turned to where Quinn was looking. "Do you recognize that boat?" Kie asked and John B pursed his lips, shaking his head. "I've never seen it."

"What are they doing here?  The marsh is closed." Kie asked and Quinn shook her head. "Let's not stick around and find out."

"JJ, get the bowline." John B ordered. "Should we wait on them?" Pope asked, making Quinn scoff. "No, we're not. You crazy?"

"Guys don't wait for me. Go." JJ screamed, still trying to pull up the bowline, resulting in Quinn running over to JJ to help as Pope went towards the front with John B.

"Lets go!" Kie screamed. "Go in the marsh!" "GO!" Pope and JJ whisper yelled to John B who looked back to the four. "Hey, act natural. Yeah?"

Quinn nodded even though on the inside she was loosing her shit. "Speed the hell up." She said through gritted teeth as Kie warned the group that the boat was still following them. "Dude, you gotta go faster!" JJ whispered yelled, hitting John B's back. "I'm going!"

As they turned the corner, Quinn looked back at the men on the boat, one of them pull out a gun, making her eyes go wide. "Uh... Guys? They have a gun."

No one looked back to see if she was right as they kept trying to speed up. "Maybe you looked to quick maybe it was just a stick." Pope suggested and Quinn rolled her eyes. "A stick? Really?"

A gunshot rang through the air. "Holy Shit!" Kie screamed as they all ducked slightly. Another shot was aimed towards the group and Pope started to mumble, 'we're gonna die'. Quinn quickly grabbed his hand as she looked around the ground as another shot rang and her eyes landed on a net on the other side of Pope. "Kie!" Quinn whispered, pointing to the net and she reached over Pope to grab it.

She quickly let go of Popes hand as she and Kie got the same idea, standing up and heading towards the back of the boat. Quinn handed Kie one side of the net as she took the other.

Just as they were about to throw the net in, Quinn felt the air pressure of the bullet whiz past her head. Kie's eyes went wide noticing that sooner or later, they might actually get shot, making her want to throw the net into the water quicker. "Now! Quinn!"

Quinn threw out the net and immediately ducked back to the ground as the boat that was chasing them stopped. She could hear the boys chuckle, making her and Kie laugh along, high-fiving.

...

"Oh, God." Quinn muttered tiredly as they all got out of the boat and sat on John B's dock.

"What do you think it is?" Kie asked, looking around the group as Quinn shrugged. "Gotta be money, right?"

JJ shrugged at her words. "That or a couple of keys with street value to the low-to mid-mils!"

"Can we please just open the bag?" Pope screamed. Quinn's eyes went wide as she let out a low whistle and John B slowly turned to him. "Wow, Pope. That's a rare outburst of emotion."

Pope sighed, nodding his head. "Okay. You guys are literally killing me with anticipation. Open the bag. We almost died over this." Quinn chuckled, elbowing Pope in ribs. He turned to Quinn and rolled his eyes, holding back a smile as they looked to John B as he pulled out an old compass.

Quinn felt her jaw drop as she leaned back into the pillar. "Are you shitting me?"

Pope groaned, nodding his head in annoyance. "Oh, wow. Yup. That's about right. Good job, everybody. We found a compass."

Quinn shut her eyes quickly, as she sighed, turning to John B and noticed him looking at the compass in shock, making her brows furrow as she shrugged. "Dude, what? It's not worth anything."'Everyone turned to John B at Quinn's words, waiting for him to answer.

"This was my father's."
