Aaaaand now we're back to Becca's POV

Owww....

Becca?  You ok there?

I rubbed my side as I sat up, readjusting my glasses.

I think so....  I think I landed on my side weird, though....

Phew.  That's ok.  Now...let's see...where are we?  I don't recognize this place....

I got to my feet and looked around.

I...I don't recognize it, either....

I was in the middle of an intersection in an abandoned city.  I couldn't tell what city, though....

Wait, why don't you recognize it?  Didn't you send me here?

Ahh...well...after Nick started contacting the wires, I kinda panicked.  ...Tell me, what's the last thing you remember from the Crafting Dead?

Umm...Nick saw and spoke with Shark at Lorenzo's camp.  Lorenzo has Shelby held captive there....

And what about Ghetto and Sabre?

I...don't really know....  Professor X sent them and Shark away from the CDC with the progress he had made on the cure just before the Strangers attacked....  Shark is at Lorenzo's camp, but Sabre and Ghetto are MIA.

Exactly.  We, I believe, are in an alternate universe from that of the YouTube series in which you know where Sabre and Ghetto are.

I groaned.  Again with the alternate universes of the Crafting Dead!  I thought we left those in my first series and the last book!  Besides, I have no clue where they are!

All we know is that they are in this city.  You'll have to search for them.

Is this one of those "created from my memories" thing?

Well, memories and imagination.

So...if I think that they're in that building there....

I pointed at the skyscraper-like building.

...then they'll be there?

The MV laughed.

Not quite.  Your imagination is limited to that of them just being here.  If your imagination were to be allowed to do more than that, you might spawn a horde of zombies around you.

Ooh...I don't wanna do that....

Exactly.  Now...where do we begin looking?

Can't you search on your own?  I mean, not to be rude, but you're the MV.  Doesn't that make you kinda free-roaming?

...I wish it was that way.  Unfortunately, I'm bound to you.  Where you go, I go.

So...ilbarker and Cassia and Kit and everyone else at the castle....

...Are without guidance.

Well then.  That's...not good.

No, it's not, but we don't have any other choice right now.  We need to find Ghetto and Sabre and...get those...marshmallows....

I facepalmed.  Crap, I forgot about that!  Ghetto doesn't have marshmallows!  ...Right?

I mean, I've never seen them.  I've always believed it to be a recurring joke between them.

Exactly!  Are there even marshmallows in this world?!

Probably, but think about it.  If this is your imagination and memories, and you knew that these marshmallows probably didn't exist, maybe some were created in one of these buildings.

Ok...but how are we, if we even find the marshmallows, gonna make them Ghetto's marshmallows?

Get him to touch them?

I scoffed.  Ok, that'd work, but...I'm still me.  As in, not Minecraft character.  Plus, this Ghetto isn't like the Ghetto from before.  He doesn't know me.  He'd probably freak if he saw me and shoot before asking questions.

...We'll work on that when that comes up.  For now, we need to find those marshmallows.

I scoffed again.  That sounds so ridiculous, but you're right.

I turned to the building I had pointed at earlier and went in.

Let's get this scavenger hunt started....

Meanwhile, back at the castle through ilbarker's eyes....

"You sure about this, Kit?  It's...kinda high up."  I said, glancing nervously at the extremely high ledge.

"Well, it's this or take one of Cassia's bottles and risk both of you dying trying to parkour up there."  Kit responded.

"Well, it's not like I could take one of her bottles, anyway...."  I muttered, watching Cassia parkour.  She was already halfway there!

Kit wrapped her arms around my waist.  "Ready?"

"No."

"Great!  Let's go!"  Kit took off.

I swear my heart skipped a beat as we flew up to the ledge.

We got up there a little before Cassia did.

"I just hope that those potions Jerome used is still in there."  I sighed, rubbing my waist a bit.

"Well, at the moment, that's the least of our concerns."  Cassia sighed.  "Have either of you heard from the MV since Becca's been gone?"

Both Kit and I shook our heads.

"Exactly.  We don't have anyone to vouch for us in there, so we'll just have to hope that they aren't too aggressive."  Cassia started towards the door.

"Wait.  Nick was extremely passive when we entered, but you both saw how Jin reacted with Becca.  Do you think that maybe the spirits have a higher aggression towards Becca than us?"  I pondered.

Cassia paused.  "That would make sense seeing as how she basically indirectly murdered them."

Kit brandished her stick and walked past Cassia.  "Welp, YOLO!"

Kit pushed the door open and walked in.

I facepalmed and followed behind Cassia.

The room still looked like it did in the last book, a...what did she say...murderer's paradise?

It was a bit messier, but it was still relatively clean.

Strangely, though, 2 figures sat at the back of the room.  And they were both solid.

"...il?  Kit?  Cassia?  Is that you?"  An extremely familiar voice asked.

"Known, that's them!"  A slightly less-but-still-familiar voice said.

"Wait...Known2U?!"  I exclaimed.

"Don't forget about Aura_Winter_ here!"  Known said happily.

A girl with a white wolf hat stood up and walked over to us with Known.

"Umm...how are you guys free?"  I asked confusedly.

"Ahh, well...we're not exactly free, per se...."  Aura sighed as she looked behind her.

2 pale blue figures appeared who I knew to be Seto and Ross.

Ross was still burnt all down his front from the lightning/fire/burning spell thingy Seto had used, and Seto had bits of skin and clothing missing from the potion of withering Ross had thrown at him.

"Yeah, we kinda threatened them with death if they tried to leave."  Seto said, crossing his arms.

"Surprisingly enough to me, however, is that they've never attempted it."  Ross said in a monotone/questioning voice.

"Yeah, well, I'd rather not get burned or sliced or slowly withered to death."  Aura scoffed.

"Well, ilbarker, your theory was...correct, I guess."  Cassia said as she watched the 2 spirits float towards us in a non-threatening way.  "They don't seem aggressive...really at all."

"Until you mention anything about their constant fight about whether magic or science is more useful...."  Known muttered.

"Well, it's simple!  Magic can do many things to help society!"  Seto said, glaring at Ross.

Ross sighed.  "And as I've said before, while magic could benefit society, not many people can use it, making it less useful than science."

"See?"  Known sighed.

"Well, it's a simple solution, really."  Kit pondered as she twirled her stick in her hand.  "We just need to give them something magic and science based that, without one or the other, it could not exist!"

I narrowed my eyes at Kit.  "Who are you and what have you done with Kit?"

She facepalmed.  "Seriously, ilbarker?  Anyone can have smart outbursts!  I just prefer to hit things with my stick."

"We probably shoulda thought about that...though I doubt it would do us any good seeing as how we can't leave the room."  Aura sighed.

"Well, sure, but what is something like that?"  I asked, looking at the group.

"Alchemy?"  Aura asked.

I thought about it.  "...No...it's too much like potion making."

"Witchery?"  Cassia suggested.

"Again, too much of one side, though it's more magic-based."

"So...we need something...magical and scientific...."  Known muttered.

Then...she got this look in her eye.

"Wait, ALTER EGOS!!"

"Huh?"  We all said in sync.

"Alter egos!  Think about it.  It's scientific in the sense that they were slowly created in a person's mind.  It's magical because something that should have been just imaginary came to life!"

"Well, we have Becky and Rebekitah downstairs...."  I started.

Known shook her head.  "No, they're not powerful enough.  I mean, like, hundreds, or even THOUSANDS of minds used to make it a reality."

I felt like I had something, but I just couldn't seem to quite pick out the names....

"Wait...WAIT!"  Known exclaimed.  "DARKIPLIER AND ANTISEPTICEYE!!!"

"Uhh...gesundheit?"  Cassia said, confused.

"Oh, yeah, those two are awesome!"  Kit agreed.

"Huh...Darkiplier?  I've only heard of Antisepticeye...."  I muttered.

"I love Darkiplier, and Anti is kinda...eh...."  Aura shrugged.

"I can see why that would work....  Based on the many fans of the originals, they have created their alter egos for them in a way.  The originals then took on these alternate versions of themselves, making them a reality...."

Seto nodded.  "That sounds very plausible, but I kinda want to see them myself."

"Agreed."  Ross said.

"Ok...we have a plan...but...we don't have the MV to send us anywhere!"  I pointed out.

"I can help with that."  Seto said.

He levitated what appeared to be a bluish-pinkish stone into my hands.

"This will send you and your 2 friends to the one place that I know of an...Anti....  However, on the...Dark one...you'll have to find him on your own.  Maybe he'll be in the same kinda thing as the Anti dude.  It will also bring the 5 of you back.  However, all of you must be touching the stone, or else you get left behind.  Just say 'Hope Castle 4th Floor' to return.  This is a one-way-roundabout trip, so make sure you have everyone you need before coming back as the stone will break on its return."

"Umm...."

Info overload.

Cassia chuckled.  "I got it, Seto.  I'll explain it to her better later."

"Well...."  I said, holding the stone out to Kit and Cassia.  They placed their hands on it.

"Here goes nothing!"

Everything started going black, but some weird words flashed across my vision before everything went completely black.
