This is extremely short but I'm proud of it. It happens during the three day time skip in chapter 5, so I guess I'll just go ahead and make it canon since it doesn't effect the plot.

Kazuki knew that he should've been focused on the task at hand; finding Satchiko. But when he and Michio had taken a break and the ultimate guitar player fell asleep on his shoulder, he just couldn't bring himself to wake the boy.

They were sitting on the ground, backs against the wall of a building. Kazuki hadn't realized how exhausted his friend was until now. They were only sitting for a few minutes and Michio was completely passed out. Is he getting enough sleep? Kazuki couldn't help but be concerned.

Michio looked so peaceful. His usual smirk and playful expression were gone, and instead he was sleepily resting against Kazuki.

The author couldn't help but enjoy how quiet it was- something that didn't often happen around Michio. Unconsciously, his hand made its way to the guitar player's blond hair, running through the soft strands in a repetitive motion.

Kazuki's cheeks turned pink when he realized what he was doing. Anyone would see them if they happened to walk by, and even worse, Michio could wake up. Even so, he didn't stop, Michio's hair was just... so soft.

The blond cuddled closer in his sleep, and Kazuki couldn't stop the small smile from sneaking onto his face. The others were all already looking for Satchiko, so it couldn't hurt to make their break a little longer than planned, especially if Michio had been sleep deprived.

Kazuki let his hand fall to his lap, and instead rested his head on top of Michio's. I really hope I don't lose you too....
