Hi! I'm a fairly new writer on here and so I thought i'd post my poems and stories on here. Please let me know what you think! constructive criticism is appreciated and please vote for me if you like any of my poems. I'll keep posting stuff up here, so I hope that people will take the time to read them.

I've been walking in a valley

Where the sun does not reach

Where blue skies turn to rain

And here I begin to drown

In a river of pain I've created

To try and wash away the memories

But the miseries cling to me

I reach a deep, dark abyss

And fall, tipping over the edge

My breath catches and I gasp painfully

My mouth is dry and I'm unable to speak

I can taste my tears as they too fall

And weep at my constant despair

But just when the darkness

Seems to close in forever

I see a light in the distance

It shines brighter then the sun

Reaching out towards me

It pulls the darkness away

Bathes me in pure light

The flood waters start to recede

And I begin to breathe again
