I had been going in a notion of blank nothings in front of a deeply confused Levy, whose eyes were trying to figure out the maze I was in currently. It turned out that he went to grab some food for us because he knew I was going to be knackered for an entire day.

"Help me out here," Levy begged to an equally confused Demetria, who had round eyes and blushed cheeks at the fact that my boyfriend acknowledged her.

They crossed their arms and stared at me like I was a cuckoo in the head. I snapped out of it and bit my lower lip trying to solve the internal puzzle about the fact that Demetria, the girl who had innocent eyes, might be the thread of July's detection roleplay on my life.

"I only waved at her," she exclaimed to an agitated Levy and he raised an eyebrow at her answer, making her seem smaller than him, she bashfully scratched the back of her head then they went back to looking at me again like I was an unsolved science project.

"Lia, are you finally on earth again?" he asked and I nodded dazzlingly at him with a lovestruck look on my face when I took in his built form in a My Chemical Romance shirt and black jeans that hugged his body like a second skin.

The people started filing out in a rush to study for the next final they forgot about.

We started walking out with Demetria beside me this time, I was out for the day as I gobbled up my turkey sandwich that Levy had bought for me while trying my hardest not to analyze Demetria.

She seemed creeped out when her anti-social attitude hit again as the students stared at me with their previous sizzling hateful eyes and I rolled mine carelessly, if they were going to hate, I wouldn't give them my time of the day anymore.

July pushed another guy to the left after she furiously made out with a guy in our class and smirked at me with swollen lips, her eyes glinting a dangerous color, it was like she was preying on me and it scared me.

That was not what surprised me further, the fact that she waved at Demetria made my suspicions come alive.

Demetria happily waved back and I frowned at her gesture. She was supposed to be on our side, she noticed my down-turned lips, she squeaked and Levy noticed the unspoken war between us.

"What's wrong?" Demetria played with the end of her shirt warily and that was all it took for me to explode.

"How dare you tell July all about what we had been through?" I exclaimed in question and Levy pulled my fury back when he frowned at sensitive Demetria before turning to look at me.

"Is that true?" he asked me and I nodded, clenching my jaw in disappointment at the fact that she would do that.

"I didn't know her intentions, she was the one who found my dad dead and helped him until I got there, she's my friend too, what's so wrong about that?" she rushed out like a caught mouse.

The playground lights shone on us indicating that it was the end of the school day and I was more than devastated by the harsh truth.

Some parts of me thought that she couldn't have known July's intentions and helped her on purpose.

What if Demetria was set up like us and we were all dolls in July's scheme?

I paled and whispered into Levy's ear, he didn't hesitate to let out an angry inhuman growl at the fact that there was a possibility that we were tricked.

"We are going for some deep analysis, let's see what dear July Aspen is hiding," Levy sneered with clenched fists as we walked to the parking lot.

"Is she bad?" Demetria shamefully asked and we both nodded with a glare towards the scared girl.

July faked the truth and made it seem like she was the helpful angel to Demetria so she could get to me through her.

That wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

"She's just a psycho fangirl," Levy added to Demetria and she widened her eyes.

"I didn't know that," she apologetically said.

We greeted the nice lady at the parking lot in a red long skirt and black office shirt, also known as Demetria's mother, she looked young with compassionate blue irises and a soft smile gracing her face.

Demetria said bye and turned to get in the car, I could tell she felt bad with how everything turned around for us.

"It's okay, Lia, we are going to get her back on our side," Levy proclaimed. my crazy thoughts started to act up again and my instincts told me that Demetria was the villain in this situation.

We rode his motorcycle and I put on my helmet before he sped off with my arms clasped around his abdomen.

Mrs. Christina hugged us both after seconds of our arrival and we made up some excuse about studying, instead, we grabbed our laptops and searched about July Aspen.

There was nothing much shown about her except that she was in a Catholic community school and her mom died a few years before. There wasn't any trail to her which made me run out of patience.

"Look, there's something about her." Levy showed me the article written as the windows welcomed the fresh air of the beautiful Dallas.

We seemed like detectives with our equal detective glances and our focus was on one major detail which was the origins of July Aspen.

July Aspen: victim of major schizophrenia disorder, was it a con to illustrate the mind of Matthew Vane?

The title itself made us shocked and my mind went into overdrive when we continued to read the history about July's incidents in Time News.
