I didn't like art at all. I never saw the meaning of a painting under the acrylic colors that the artists used to mix to create the portraits. I only knew the meaning of dark art right in front of me.

The swift motions of the gang who tried to aim for Levy and his mother with deep scowls on their faces and angry lines painted on their foreheads were like something out of a Da Vinci painting or the way I held the gun and pulled the trigger across their foreheads that made the bodies collapse and blood sprinklers on the middle of their foreheads that soaked the floor.

My heart and mind were somewhere outside of this world. The screams of war that came out of the mixed gang made my anger rise as I relentlessly held the trigger over and over, using the wall as a shield from their deadly rifles.

Flashes of my aunt and my mom emerged into my mind, going down to my finger that held the trigger in a glorious fury until the dull silence formed and none of the gangs moved.

I walked out from behind the wall that was near the table and stood beside Levy and his mother, I managed to kill four men by my own, some sick and twisted part of me felt proud for protecting them for a change.

"Aren't you ever going to give up?" Mrs. Christina asked furiously with her arms crossed.

Levy held my hand to comfort my aching arms. It was odd how the army decided to stop in the middle of a bloodbath given by me for what they had done to us.

The man with an owl tattoo on his forehead and red-rimmed eyes stepped forward but his eyes weren't on Mrs. Christina, his eyes were on me curiously.

"Not until we know this girl isn't a threat to our gang," he replied with a cold, gravely voice. Levy stepped in front of me to protect me.

"She isn't a threat, she's with us in our gang," Levy stated and I could see the man deviously grin at Levy from the left side. Shivers ran down my spine at the way he looked at me like I was his favorite meal.

"You taught her how to attack, right little Levy?" He taunted. "She killed four of my men and that's impressive," he added as he tried to make eye contact with me but Levy covered my face away from him.

"What do you want?" Levy snapped and the man just laughed with the army looking like statues behind him.

"No need to be possessive, we could share," he provoked and it was getting under Levy's skin as he tried to barrel into him but I clutched his shirt as hard as I could.

"Don't go, please," I pleaded in a whisper so they couldn't hear. Levy listened to me once he detected the terror in my voice.

"We showed you that the girl is a part of our gang so you can leave now as we haven't violated the rule," Mrs. Christina demanded but that made him laugh even harder.

"I like a good game of chase, ain't that right Lia Maxwell?" This time, there was no holding Levy back as he stepped to the leader of the gang and grasped his collar hard.

My eyes caught the man behind him trying to discreetly shoot Levy's leg but I was quick to respond as I shot the man's leg behind them.

"That's interesting," the man with the owl tattoo mused as he took Levy's hands away from him and came to me but Levy wouldn't allow it as he locked the man's hands behind his back. That finally seemed to get a reaction out of him as he growled and tried to bash Levy's head.

"Stop this right now, I have the key with me," we all stood frozen at Mr. Clay as he dangled the key and the other holding a crutch to support him from slipping on all that blood.

Levy let go of the leader and he turned around to Mr. Clay with haunted eyes. With one scream of his, it turned to chaos.

"You need to hide, Lia," he said as he pushed me to the wall and went into attack mode with his mom and dad holding guns. They looked like superheroes as they stood near each other and shot anyone in their way, changing directions when the opposing team retaliated.

I didn't know what I felt watching the family kill thousands of men coming their way like it was the easiest thing to do. Not to mention the fact that they were fast even with Mr. Clay. I was awed at the fact that they had each other's back.

A large hand covered my mouth and I struggled to get away but I had no choice but to try and kick him. I felt drained as I looked at Levy while he was busy with the men. I closed my eyes and imagined happy thoughts.

"Lia, let go of her. I will do anything you want," Levy shouted as the fight stopped again.

"Great," the leader chirped as he uncovered my mouth and I took a long breath to recover. "I want the key," he clarified. I was sure that the key held so much importance as it contained most of the data about them and could ruin them forever.

"Let Lia go first." Mr. Clay said. My eyes couldn't look at the dead bodies anymore. How they had managed to kill all the people was beyond me. They must have killed them before barging in the cafeteria.

The leader pushed me roughly to Levy and Mr. Clay threw the key to him. They escaped in a flash but not without the leader telling me that he would see me again. At least they let us stay alive.

We were unprepared and they took advantage of us. All four of us stood between the blood of the innocent patients or family.
